This is possibly the most arrogant thing I've ever heard. "A citizenry...not yet capable of self government" is just a shocking thing to say. Just go over it a few times. So who exactly governs us then? Our betters? What happened to "Of the people, by the people, for the people"?<BR/>The sheer arrogance of this is staggering. He is an unelected individual telling "the masses" that they need to be governed.....AND NOT QUESTIONED. <BR/><BR/>Anon was right, they think we are Kaffirs. Ignorant savages living in our own filth who they "manage" for our own sakes.<BR/><BR/>And this blog (the most popular arguably eh Guido?) is not just the result of Guido by himself. It is all of us who read it and contribute on comment boards like this. We are all agreeing with the facts regarding this government: loss of civil liberties, corruption, shagging the staff, and the great 45 min lie that took us into Iraq. THEY are the reasons we are ALL fed up with this government.
