Pastor George Williams was a former ordained Pentecostal Pastor with a congregation of 200 members. He founded and presided over Mt. Zion Miracle Station located in Wilmington, Delaware. He was also founder of Religious Crossroads which broadcasted a two-hour weekly radio program on Sunday mornings. While broadcasting on radio, he produced and directed a thirty-minute segment on local cable television which featured Christian business people. Both endeavors impacted many people who made decisions to follow Christ. Today, he is broadcast every Friday 6 pm - 8 pm on WJSS1330 AM radio or on the web at WJSS1330.net.

Pastor Williams embarked on a 30-day fast, after being led by the Holy Spirit to quit his Sales position with a major Fortune 500 company. On the last day of the fast the Lord Jesus led him to read Genesis 2:3 which states the Lord Jesus set aside only one day for worship ---Saturday. This revelation was presented to his church and they embraced the truth of the Word. They began their Sabbath worship on the first Saturday in January 1991. During that year, Pastor Williams met Leon Trusty of Mt. Calvary SDA Church located in Salem, NJ and began taking Bible studies. As a result of this relationship, Pastor Williams and his wife were baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church in April 1992. In October of 1992, 50 members of his church were baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church as well.

Pastor Williams has served as pastor of Mt. Zion Miracle Station (Wilmington, DE), First Church (Washington, DC), First Maranatha (Baltimore, MD), and Cherry Hill (Baltimore, MD) Seventh-day Adventist churches and Sharon SDA (Baltimore, MD). He is married to the former Sharon L. Brown. They have five children and seven grandchildren.

Multichurch Pastoring and the Family?

With this growing need for the Word of God, and the alarming amount of sin in our church's, why aren't the Adventist producing more Pastors, to keep up with the growth of new congregations? Is it finacial? Is it spiritual? Is it criticism Pastors face from the congregation? Are we just not putting enough effort in higher education towards Pastorial leadership? What can we do now to kind of help the church produce more leaders with its rapid congregational growth?

Fasting for a Spiritual Breakthrough!
The Type of Fast: We will be going through a 21-day Disciple's Fast. The purpose of this type of fast is “loose the bands of wickedness” (Isa. 58:3) – freeing ourselves and others from addictions to sin. Key Verse: “This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting” (Matt. 17:21 KJV) Jesus cast a demon from a boy whom the disciples had failed to help. Apparently they had not taken seriously enough the way Satan had his claws set in the youth. The implication is that Jesus' disciples could have performed this exorcism had they been willing to undergo the discipline of fasting.

Day-to-Day Fasting:
For 21 full days you are encouraged to fast from the following:
● Sweets (cakes, pastries, pies, cookies, sodas and sweet drinks)
● All meats (chicken, fish, beef, turkey, etc.)
● Coffee and caffeinated teas and sodas
● Secular TV programming with the exception of the news.
● Theater Movies and forms of similar entertainment.
● Video Entertainment (video games, etc.)
