I realize that I stopped giving a damn about this blog, no one ever reads it anyway. I have been working on my writing and etc. I also have nothing of interest to anyone to write. So, I gave up the post a day goal and started working on other parts of my life.

In about a week I should be in Tulsa, Oklahoma again. I plan to go to the zoo and take some pictures to make use of my camera. We are going to throw a bunch of our stuff in storage. I might even swap out for some other gear. As you can see I do not have anything to post that is worth anything.

The best food and trucker buffet for TRUCKERS is at York, Alabama. I posted about this before only one problem. They changed their name. It used to be the Briarpatch now it is the New Orleans Bar and Grill. They even started revamping the inside so it is looking nicer. They have a long way to go for ambiance still though.

Cash's Truck Stop.

I seen my brother get his ass kicked by Vietnamese noodle soup and some nasty drink made from a fruit called durian which he hated. There was something aggravating his throat. It was not a pepper. But maybe something to do with the beef tripe or acids. I loved it, it was funny seeing him suffer for a change.

Slow Cooker.

Got a slow cooker for the truck that lid clasps. Hamilton Beach model. It says 275 watts and yet the 300 and 400 watt inverters will not push the damn thing. I had to throw out a roast. I will keep working on it and if I get it to work I will post some recipes.

I figured I would help out missing kids by donating $20 to the cause. Problem is, the women that were running the booth turn out to be working for a non charity company selling items that only result in 5% of sales going to the charity. I did not buy anything I just gave a flat $20 donation so it better had went straight to the kids. They were selling things while saying it was "non profit" but the receipts fine print in the back say otherwise which lead me to write this post. The receipt does not give the name of the corporation selling the merchandise on the front like the fine print states. So instead of buying crap through people "selling fora cause" just make a straight donation to the charity itself and do not get ripped off.

Vittles Family Restaurant in Tunkhannock, PA really sucks the big one. Some of the most god awful food that I ever had the misfortune of putting in my mouth. If you come across this crap hole just drive past it.

I am almost tempted to take pictures of truckers whipping it out and pissing on the parking lots and make it worse for them by publicly humiliating them online. It is disgusting. As I ranted before I hate walking in piss and breathing that crap in especially on a hot day. Maybe if there are pictures of these lazy and 99% chance of fatness truckers then maybe they will stop. So many health codes ignored.

The Pied Piper Restaurant near Pottstown Pennsylvania sucked. The only decent thing was the New England Claim Chowder. The food was premade frozen entree type. The gravies were canned. The best thing about the place was the tile on the restroom. Tile that is better than most casinos. Awfully fancy for a crappy food cafe joint.

Colonial Cafe.

The Colonial Cafe in New Brunswick, New Jersey is a damn good diner. The salad bar is great. Waitresses are nice and cute for the most part. The best thing is, for a brief period, you forget that you are in New Jersey. If you are in the area stop here for lunch or brunch and then hit up the Bonefish Grill for dinner.

Shop Rite.

Shop Rite is the best grocery store I have seen in all of the USA. I walked in and I was just dumbfounded. The north, northwest, west, south,(east?) do not have anything like them to my knowldge. (I am told however, they are in Arizona.) The Northeast is lucky in that regard. Inside was a banner that said something like "voted best grocery chain ten years in a row 2007" I can believe that. They had what could be called three aisles of just cheeses, 2 delis, an in house Chinese food place (where you could by heat lamp leftovers for reduced price after cafe hours)a Dunkin Donuts, and aisles of specialty foods. The prices were decent too.

This place really does suck. However, the food here is pretty damn good. The Bonefish Grill in New Brunswick kicks ass. That is all I have to say for today.

What Is the Strangest Thing That You Have Ever Seen?

I have seen some pretty weird crap during my day. Strange animals that are not documented. Strange orbs of lights that appear out of nowhere that have an electrical hum like a light saber from Star Wars. U.F.O. type aircraft doing impossible patterns and far distances in the sky and back within fractions of a second to five then disappearing. I have seen apparitions and smelled fresh cookies and popcorn in a real estate office with no oven and no people around it except me (I lived in the apartment upstairs with no oven either). I seen a lot along those lines. My question for what few readers I have is, what is the strangest thing that you have seen? Be serious too. I really want to know. No matter how bizarre it sounds.

Cracker Barrel Review.

The Cracker Barrel has the best consistency of food and value of all the major sit down chains that I have been to in the past 10 years. The quality of food has always been the same which is excellent. Now a days they are within walking distance of a few truck stops so if a trucker is not to damn lazy to walk for a decent meal that is far cheaper than truck stop food he can treat himself to a home style meal. The staff is not always great though. One time a few years ago, a waiter would not give me a straw acting like he was handing it to me and then pulling his hand back as I reach for the straw. Once ha ha maybe. Twice it is like OK dude enough. Three times and you are asking to get your ass beat. The only reason I did not grab his collar and drop to the ground slamming his head into the table was it probably would had been considered a hate crime. Had nothing to do with skin color believe me. Instead, I cussed his ass out in a loud enough voice saying that is a good way to lose your tip ect. My brother was getting annoyed by his fake persona as well and if I had not said anything he would had. My brother ended up giving him a tip because he did his job right after I made it a point he was pissing me off big time. It was a hot summer day ungodly heat and I was already in a bad mood.

Petro wins for food. Internet is found at most. Since Siricom went out of business there is less options for the internet. Petro and Pilot used to share Siricom. But now they have their individual towers. Flying J has their towers located at other trucks stops throughout the country. Or often does. Sometimes you can park at an area with all major trucks stops at one junction. So if anyone else is stuck on the road besides me there is some information. Flying J's food is crap especially when flavor is concerned. Flying J's have more private crappers and often the dirtiest and stinkiest. If you are ever in Little Rock Arkansas I recommend walking from the Petro lot and over to the Bar-B-Que Man's stand and getting something there, it may not be the absolute best but it is better than average.

Well due to the lack of a cooler and what not, living on the road has killed my diet and exercise program. High blood pressure sucks. Plus my brother is an asshole and purposely pissing me off beyond belief. One cannot ignore a person such as him, it is impossible. I have tried.

WW2 Vets.

"The greatest generation" my ass. The World War II vets are what screwed this country up as far as moral and values. When they got back from fighting it is like they took a vacation for life. They are the ones that produced the baby boomers and hippies. Which led to slacked parenting and kids having kids. Teenagers lack the mentality to raise kids or make wise decisions we all now that, and when they have kids they tend to not care or allow their kids to make stupid decisions same as they would. Had those WW2 people been more assertive with their kids the present would been a lot better for everyone. Sure they "put up a great fight" in the war. But once those veterans came home they killed America's Core Values. It does trace back to them. Before then the family was a tight unit leading to kids being brought up with more common sense.

On The Road.

Well being back on the road sucks. Especially riding in the passenger seat with a brother that throws tantrums driving the truck. Makes me on edge. How is one not to dwell on the negatives or relax is someone is constantly yelling and breaking things while always constantly talking about the negatives. He claims it is what keeps his blood pressure down and says he is not going to change for anyone for any reason. He knows is aggravates me and does not even care. One moment we are talking about setting up payments to be taken out automatically towards debt then within the same hour talks about quitting this very moment or within a few days. You cannot do both. He does not care about the debt. I agree this truck sucks, crappy AC and whatnot. But, you cannot make a commitment and not be able to pay it when dealing with those creditor bastards.
