Here's a handy tip: When Mitch McConnell says "House Democrats have finally done the right thing," that's a sign that they have, in fact, done a terrible thing.
Remember this rule of thumb, and you won't go far wrong: If Mitch McConnell is for it, be against it. If he is outspokenly for it, be dead set against it.
