This article talks about some facts about keeping in shape and what love handle exercise you should be working on.

1. Why should you keep in shape? There could be a lot of reasons. But the most logical of all is health. If fats are stored, eventually it blocks of arteries. This prevents blood circulation especially in the heart vessels to flow this causing heart attack.

2. What is the best thing to do to avoid this? The best approach is to have a regular exercise to get rid of those flabby tires around your waist. There are so many exercise regimens that could work for you. If you want to get rid of those ugly belly fats, start working on a love handle exercise that you are most comfortable with.

3. Is this enough? No. Diet is also important. If unused, it starts showing up like tires in your belly called love handles. Eating the wrong food also stores the wrong fats thus ending up unused as well.

To stay healthy, you need to stay within your ideal body weight. Do some cardio exercises regularly. And humanity is here to test and break those rules and to find ultimate freedom. That doesn't mean that we are here to be rebellious and purposely create havoc and tick people off, on the contrary. Eating for 3, literally, and expecting our body to say "thank you" and for us to feel free hardly is called freedom. So let's be realistic and not fool ourselves. Because we are also told that "The greatest one of these is love. Love never fails."

Given that gem of wisdom, why then do 95% of all diets continue to fail us? Probably because there isn't a lot of love in those diets or perhaps in the way we use these diets

Let's instead tackle this issue of being overweight with the fabric of love rather than trying to squeeze ourselves into someone else's diet box - especially since we now know that our ultimate purpose is to defy those rules.

Here are 3 things you can do to start being more loving with yourself.

1. The nutritional label reading thing: it's gotta go. I believe that we are made to believe that by reading those things we are gods who then can force our bodies into creating different chemical components for our bodies. Reading the ingredients is a much better and simpler approach. The less ingredients the better the product. And make sure you understand them, because so will your body understand them.

2. Stay away from foods that say "fat free," or "light." Look at a bag of candies, often they now say "fat free" and that may be true. However, the content of these bags are pure chemicals mixed with some corn byproduct, which your body has absolutely no idea what to do with it. So it turns it into pure body fat. Just because you give your body a fat free product doesn't mean that your body won't convert it into fat. Remember that your body is a pure chemical laboratory and it can create anything it needs or has to in order to protect itself from harm. Your body's one purpose is for it to stay healthy for as long as you allow it, so it can carry you through life in order for you to carry out your life's purpose. All we have to do is learn to get out of its way, to stop playing God and to listen to what our bodies tell us.

3. Do not buy "fake foods" that are pretending to be something but are not. Good examples are "I can't believe it's not something" If the box says "I can't believe it" - it's just that simple: don't believe it! Because neither will your body. So instead of artificial sweeteners, give it organic honey or natural cactus sweetener from raw plants. Birch sugar is another great, but expensive, alternative, and is also safe for diabetics. Your body knows exactly what you feed it and can digest it and transform it to the perfect nutrition. Giving it alternative junk will put a big question mark in the processing of the foods you eat, which only serves to confuse and slow down your body, or reject it all together.

About the Author:

Chaszey Sandhriel is a trainer and seminar leader empowering women to look, feel and be their best. In fact, scientific opinion with respect to the fastest way to build muscle and burn fat has changed a great deal because of all of these amazing discoveries.

Unfortunately, while the progress science has made in the field of physiology is exciting, it appears that many people are largely unaware of these exciting developments. They do not seem to realize that our understanding of how the human body works and what we can do to manipulate it through diet and exercise has undergone a drastic change.

These people appear to be largely unaware of the fact that they ways in which they have been exercising since the 1980's have been declared inefficient and are not the fastest way to build muscle.

No one is saying that the old ways to work-out do not work. Exercises like aerobics certainly do burn fat and build muscle. It is just that we know now that they are not the most efficient of burning fat and they are not the fastest way of building muscle.

Not everyone who persists in utilizing outdated forms of exercise is ignorant of the fact that these types of exercise have been determined to be inefficient. They either do not care, or they simply enjoy working out the way they always have in the past. Some people feel it is a waste of time learning new ways to exercise when they are perfectly happy with the results they get from their current workouts.

For some people, the simple fact that they do any form of exercise at all is what is important. They could care less about the fastest way to build muscle, they just want to exercise a little in order to be healthy.

Although everybody is free to believe what they want, it does seem rather pointless to work longer and harder for mediocre results instead of working efficiently to build pure muscle.

Regardless of why you exercise, you owe it to yourself to take advantage of every scientific discovery that can benefit your body. Why waste your time and your energy with out-dated, inefficient workouts? If you are going to take the time to exercise, then spend that time wisely and utilize more efficient methods to burn fat and build pure muscle so that you are able to achieve faster results with less effort. Is this what you want to be? Or you want to look fit and healthy always full of life and vigor. The choice is yours. The only way out is to add a regular exercise regime in your everyday routine for gradual weight loss. Just exercising without any guidance and proper diet control is not going to take you anywhere close to your goal.

The aim of leading a healthy life should start with a proper plan of exercising and diet control. As a beginner for achieving a healthy body does not restrict you from getting the maximum out of your workout regime. The plan must include a chart of 'What to eat When to eat' and a chart of 'When to exercise' to enable you to get the maximum out of the workout plan you want to follow for weight loss.

You must understand that choosing a proper time to eat is equally important as eating a cooking. Eating before an exercise will always make you feel worse salt away problems like sleepiness, indigestion, sluggishness and even cramps and an overall champion health. Similarly if you have no food at all you will be too impotent for exercise and may faint or feet empty all the time. True is important to follow some guidelines for eating if you have the application of weight loss. Following are some basic guidelines but these may be modified depending upon your body response and singular experience.

The first principle of healthy eating is that a large meal should be always eaten at least three to four hours before the exercise and where you are in for a light meal you must have a two to three hours gap between the meal and exercise.

The second principle of healthy eating is simply avoiding eating fat in any form as very over possible.

The third principle of well thought eating is to drink a lot of water while you exercise as this will not allow you to dehydrate and keep your body cool.

About the Author:

Read More on Top 10 Diets and Online Diet Plans! BMI Calculators make it easy for you to determine your BMI, your weight category, and your associated health risks.

It has been established by numerous studies that your percentage of body fat has a direct bearing on how long you will live and how healthy you will be. Thus groups like the World Health Organization have created definitions and levels of risk so that you can determine which apply to you. Since the level of health risk to percent body fat is not absolute, only a rough indication of percent body fat is needed. This is where the BMI Calculator come in. Through out the world the BMI or Body Mass Index is calculated the same way.

How to Calculate BMI?

For Metric units use

BMI = (weight in kgs) / ((height in meters)*(height in meters))

If you use English units then

BMI = (weight in pounds) * 703 / (height in inches)2

Use a free online Adult BMI Calculator

MyDietForWeightLoss.com\Adult-BMI-Calculator

What BMI Category are you in?

To determine your risk level you must first determine what category you fall into based on the following.

Your BMI Your BMI Category

0.0 - 18.5 Underweight

18.5 - 24.9 Normal

25.0 - 29.9 Overweight

30.0 - 39.9 Obese

40.0 - + Morbidly Obese

If you are overweight you have a lot of company. According to the World Health Organization there are over 1 billion overweight adults in the world. Even the obese category contains over 300 million adults.

How does excess fat affect your health risk?

The conditions that cause people to be overweight or obese also cause metabolic effects on blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, and insulin resistance. Non-fatal health problems like respiratory difficulties, chronic musculoskeletal problems, skin problems, and infertility have also been linked with obesity. More serious health problems associated with higher percentages of body fat include CVD, Type 2 Diabetes, certain types of cancer (generally ones associated with hormones), and gallbladder disease.

There are some health risks even if you are not considered overweight. The World Health Organization reported that 58% of diabetes and 21% of ischaemic heart disease and 8-42% of certain types of cancer were associated with people with BMI above 21.

The problems with BMI

BMI and thus BMI Calculators are not appropriate for some.

* It is not reliable if you are over seven feet tall

* It is also not accurate if you have a high ratio of muscle mass

* The above health risk levels only apply to adults, that is people over 19 years old. If you are younger, BMI is interpreted differently. Try the Child Teen BMI Calculator at MyDietForWeightLoss.com\Child-Teen-BMI-Calculator

What to do if you are overweight?

Most diet plans will help you lose weight temporarily but few keep the pounds off. So in looking for a diet plan you should look for ones that do all of the following. They should not only tell you what to eat but how your body works to store and release fat so you can tell what will work, what will not work, and what you have to do to stay out of starvation mode. The diet plan should recommend types of activities that apply to your situation. The plan should give you options instead of a strict plan so you will have a much better chance of following it. Finally the plan should cover goal setting and your mindset so that you have the best chance of reaching both your short and long term goals.

About the Author:

For those at least 20 years old use Adult BMI Calculator. While many people search for some magic pill or supplement, or try to find the perfect diet or look to the latest exercise fad, the reality is that a combination approach is usually necessary to actually get good, lasting results.

Many natural weight loss aids are available, and there appears to be no end of new ones coming on the market. Everyone of them is promoted as a breakthrough and many who are desperate to lose weight will eagerly purchase the latest and greatest weight loss product hoping it will solve their problem. People really want to think that there is some easy way to lose weight and hope for a way to avoid difficult diet and exercise programs. Although at some level, most realize that the current weight loss wonder being promoted probably won't work any better than the the ones that have come before, many will purchase the new hope and wind up frustrated once again with the lack of results.

Many natural weight loss products do have some beneficial effects and do in fact live up to their marketing claims. For instance, the herb hoodia gordonii has been shown to be very effective at suppressing appetite. So, if you happen to have a tendency to get overly hungry and this causes you to overeat or eat the wrong things, then hoodia may be very useful to you. Unfortunately, the majority of people do not eat too much because they are really hungry. They may eat in response to a craving, or they may eat to soothe boredom or anxiety, but few people overeat primarily because of actual hunger. Because of this, despite hoodia's effectiveness as an appetite suppressant, it really doesn't provide much weight loss assistance except for those with actual hunger issues.

Certain natural weight loss aids can help improve the weight loss results you get from diet and exercise. The thing is, to get benefits from such products, you hav to do the diet and exercise, but many people buy these products in the hope that they will replace diet and exercise, and they simply do not work this way.

Some natural weight loss aids block the absorption of fat by the digestive tract and thereby lower the calories you absorb from each meal. While this does tend to help with weight loss, unless you stop eating everything except fat (which is not a good idea), you still are taking in other calories that, in excess, will be converted to fat AFTER they are absorbed from the digestive tract. Here again a consistent diet and exercise program is needed to get maximum effects.

For natural weight loss, it is clear that diet and exercise must be part of the overall program. No weight loss aid by itself can replace healthy eating and increased activity. Even the hype-intensive ads for weight loss aids make this point, although it is usually hidden in the fine print.

So, the foundations of natural weight loss are diet and exercise. With a good diet and exercise program in place, you may get additional benefits from using one or more of the natural weight loss products on the market. But do your research to find a product that serves your particular needs. In other words, if you're not overeating out of hunger, don't buy an appetite suppressant. If you're already minimizing your fat intake, don't waste your money on a fat blocker.

As you get your diet and exercise plan figured out and you decide on what, if any natural weight loss aids you are going to use, there's just one more issue that needs to be addressed. You need to follow through with your plan and be consistent with it in order to get good results long-term. Failure to follow through is the primary reason that weight loss plans fail.

In several years of working with people on weight loss, I have observed that the vast majority of people will be able to stick to their natural weight loss plan for more than a few weeks in a row. Now, many people work on losing weight for many months or even years, but because their efforts are not consistent, most are unsuccessful at losing weight and keeping it off.

Recent research comparing different natural weight loss approaches found something very interesting. The overall success rates of most of the currently popular diet programs were about the same. The success or failure of any given diet had little to do with what the approach was. In other words, low carb, low fat, calorie restriction, eating for blood type, etc., really didn't matter. What mattered was whether or not the individual stuck to the program! To sum it up, it doesn't matter so much what you do to lose weight (within reason), as much as it matters that you do it consistenty long-term!

Since sticking with a natural weight loss plan is the key to success, it would likely be beneficial to investigate various methods for getting control of your mind and emotions. I include several of the most effective of these techniques in my E-Book, "Training Your Brain For Weight Loss". Other resources include Anthony Robbins, Dr. Phil McGraw, Emotional Freedom Technique, Neurolinguistic Programming, and self-hypnosis.

Ultimately, the key to succeeding with a natural weight loss plan is to take a combination approach that includes diet, exercise, any weight loss products that meet your specific needs, and make your program a part of your daily lifestyle. The way to be make your program something you consistently stick with long-term is to take control of your mind and emotions so that your brain works with rather than against your weight loss efforts.

About the Author:

For free weight loss information, or to access Dr. Best's E-Book mentioned in this article, please visit natural weight loss. It takes careful planning, time, energy, willpower and money to reach a diet goal. And the journey to losing weight and keeping it off is plagued with potholes, pitfalls and danger zones.

The number one obstacle to your successful diet? Not losing weight fast enough. We have been fed an incredible amount of misinformation about weight loss. TV commercials and other advertisements as well as content in magazines, blogs and TV shows have all fed us fairy tales about losing large amounts of weight very quickly, usually with the aid of some "miracle" diet or product. These situations are either highly unusual or based on an unsustainable weight loss caused by a fad diet or product. The truth is that real, meaningful weight loss is a slow process. For years, doctors and nutritionists have said healthy weight loss means losing no more than two pounds per week. For a person who wants to lose 40 or 50 pounds, that might seem extremely slow and lead to impatience and frustration.

Another obstacle to a successful diet is the fact that many food products that are misleadingly market, causing people to believe they are eating healthy food when they are not. Before the low-carb craze became so widespread, many very sugary products were sold with big, flashy labels on the front that said "fat free." Much of these products are still sold that way. A quick look at the nutritional information on the back will reveal that while such foods are low in fact, they extremely high in diet-wrecking sugars.

Now that the Atkins Diet and other low or no carbohydrate diets have become prevalent, some food manufacturers are taking advantage of legal loopholes to falsely sell products as "low carb." They use mathematical trickery to label products with phrases like "5 Net Carbs," when the nutritional panel reads otherwise. These companies accomplish this by using sugar alcohols as sweeteners, which aren't classified as carbohydrates but elicit the same response. These food products are often labeled with confusing jargon, but the truth is they are just as unhealthy as conventionally sweetened products. if you are committed to your diet, be sure and check the nutritional information on everything you buy.

Why else do diets fail? Because they're difficult. People derive a significant amount of pleasure from eating unhealthy foods. As time goes on, more and more research is coming out that examines the effect of sweet and fatty foods on our brains. Many people struggle with addiction to unhealthy foods like others struggle with alcohol or nicotine. Again, it takes a huge amount of willpower to diet successfully. If you are attempting a weight loss program, having the support of your friends and family can help a great deal.

Trends in today's world present even more obstacles to weight loss. The prevalence of fast food in combination with increasing demands on our time can be a toxic combination. We are rushed to get out meals, which can lead to very unhealthy choices like hamburgers or pizza. Committing to a diet means taking time to buy and prepare healthy foods. Also, the increasingly prevalent presence of technology tempts us to spend our free time watching digital cable on our HD TV's, playing video games or using the internet rather than exercising. Exercise is crucial to the long-term success of any diet, and cannot be neglected.

About the Author:

TLBC is a specialized Lap Band Centre that will help you with your lap band issues. In individuals who hold most of their weight in the lower abdomen below the waist, a common underlying cause is fatigue of the adrenal glands due to chronic stress. In people suffering from adrenal fatigue, too much exercise or exercise that is highly intense can cause further adrenal fatigue and result in the release of a hormone that causes more fat to accumulate in the lower belly.

Sitting atop each kidney, the adenal glands are small but critically important to the health of the body. The adrenal hormones control many functions in the body. For the sake of this article, we will be discussing the adrenal hormones involved in weight gain and loss. Most people are familar with the adrenal hormone known as adrenaline (also called epinephrine). Adrenaline "speeds up" the body to make it ready for sudden activity. During times of fear, excitement, or stress, adrenaline is produced and triggers increased blood pressure, elevated heart rate, rapid breathing, and increased blood flow to the muscles. Adrenaline also triggers the burning of fat for energy to support increased activity and therfore is one of several hormones that is involved in weight loss.

The other adrenal hormone involved in weight gain / loss is cortisol. Cortisol promotes the deposition of fat in the lower abdominal area. While adrenaline can only be produced for short periods of time, cortisol can be produced steadily ver long perids of time. This means that when one is under chronic stress, adrenaline will be used up long before cortisol and any fat-burning caused by adrenaline will be more than overwhelmed in the long run by the fat-depositing caused by cortisol.

From a survival standpoint, cortisol serves the purpose of providing emergency storage of fat for energy when the body is under stress for a long period of time. For human cultures in which the primary source of stress is physical stress, this fat storage can help keep people alive during extended periods of living under harsh conditions. Unfortuately, emotional stress stimulates cortisol production as well, and for many people who live stressful lives, their ongoing cortisol production will tend to cause weight gain in the lower abdomen.

Now we come to exercise. In a person who is under a lot of emotional stress and who has chronically overworked adrenal glands, cortisol levels will be high and adrenaline will have long since been used up. Under these circumstances, if you add heavy physical exercise as an additional stressor to the body, the result will be even more cortisol release from the adrenals. The high levels of cortisone result in more and more fat storage in the lower belly.

Because of the difficulty in getting rid of the lower stomach bulge, many people will try to exercise more and harder. Many times such individuals will lose weight overall yet still not be able to reduce the size of the belly. Some will try to work out even harder, all the while becoming more fatigued and possibly even losing muscle mass.

Cortisol's job is to store fat to conserve energy for survival under long-term harsh conditions. To meet immediate energy needs, cortisol will stimulate the breakdown of muscle and other tissue. This means that although a person with high cortisol may be able to lose weight by exercising, the weight being lost is muscle rather than fat.

The result is a downward spiral of fatigue, loss of muscle mass and strength, and sometimes the development of joint problems as the body eats it's own tissues for energy - but there's no reduction in that lower abdomen fat deposit that the body holds in reserve.

You may be wondering what you can do to get rid of your belly fat if you do have this problem of high cortisol. First, it is a good idea to be certain that your main issue is in fact adrenal-related, because if it is not, intense exercise is one of the best things you can do to lose weight.

If you have high cortisol, there are several possible indicators. Of course, the first sign is the primary location of excess weight being in the lower abdomen. There maybe loss of muscle mass in the arms and legs, or perhaps a difficulty in building strength in these muscles. Overwork of the adrenals may also manifest with any of the following symptoms: fatigue, needing caffeine to stay alert and awake, swelling in the feet and ankles, arthritis / joint pain, salty food cravings, feeling faint or dizzy when rising suddenly from sitting, and waking up in the middle of the night.

In cases of adrenal fatigue, exercise is still necessary, but it is important to do activities that do not overstress the body. The best approach is to do about 30 to 60 minutes of low-intensity aerobic exercise about 3 days per week. Low-intensity aerobic exercise includes just about any form of exercise you can do that does not leave you gasping for breath and does not leave you fatigued and sore. Among the best options are walking (particularly outside if there is not a lot of pollution and there are no temperature extremes), swimming, bicycling, and low-intensity aerobics.

In addition to exercise considerations, diet is also important. To help prevent cortisol-related muscle wasting, it is a good idea to eat protein. Approximately 3 ounces of high-protein foods like meat, eggs, dairy, fish, and poultry in each meal is usually sufficient. For those who do not consume animal proteins, be sure to include plenty of nuts, seeds, and beans to supply adequate protein.

If you have been frustrated with that roll of belly fat and have been working hard to get rid of it only to wind up weak, fatigued, and sore, if you'll change your exercise approach, maintain your protein intake and do whatever you can to reduce stress, that stubborn abdominal fat will go away over time and you'll be thrilled to look and feel great!

About the Author:

For more information, please visit our site on natural weight loss. It is important to develop a sense of commitment and patience as sometimes it can take a bit of time to see real results. It is a good idea to stay away from programs that promise you will lose weight overnight with no effort as they generally tend to not work or they can even be dangerous and harmful to your health.

People that have a healthy body weight and have maintained it long term do things in a certain way so all you need to do is model some of these people and try to learn from them. Here are a few tips to assist you in losing more weight.

Write Your Goals Down On Paper

It is important to know exactly what you are trying to accomplish before you start. This is why writing down your goals can be very effective as it helps to keep you on target. All you need to do is decide what weight you would like to be at 1 month, 3 months and then 6 months from now and be sure to be reasonable and shoot for something around a 10 pound loss per month until your ideal weight is reached.

It is also important to know why you are trying to lose weight in the first place. Remember that it will take effort and commitment on your part but it can become much easier if you are strongly driven to pursue your weight goals. Maybe you want to fit into that nice bikini for summer. Maybe you are just tired of being ashamed and embarrassed about your weight. You need to search within yourself to find the real answers and then be sure to write them down too.

Once you have written both your goals and the reasons then all you need to do is check in on these at least once a day. This will help you to stay on track so make sure you do it. It should only take a few minutes at most, even a glance can be effective but do it daily.

Proper Exercise And Diet

You cannot ignore the effects diet and exercise can have to your weight loss goals. When it comes to your diet try to consume less food more often. You want to eat the right amount that fills you up but does not leave you feeling stuffed. Eat once every 3 to 4 hours, sometimes all you may want to eat is a fruit before waiting another few hours for a full meal.

Also make sure you are getting the right kinds of foods in your diet like more fruits and vegetables. It is not necessary to entirely eliminate some of your favorite foods but you do need to keep an eye on portion sizes.

Exercise is also very important in achieving permanent weight loss. You need to do aerobic exercise to help burn calories regularly. Do aerobics for 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 60 minutes each day. Even just going for a walk outside for an hour can be effective provided the weather is good. You can also join a gym and use their aerobic equipment or buy your own as there are many effective pieces of aerobic equipment, the key is to find one you like and then to actually use it regularly.

Weight training is also very important as it will help to build and maintain muscle mass. Muscle burns calories continuously so it helps to increase your metabolism and will make weight loss much easier and faster. You do not need to weight train everyday, sometimes just one to four sessions a month can be effective. Use some of these weight loss tips to help you get to your ideal weight.

About the Author:

Kelvin is an online researcher and author. The widely popular steady state cardio typically only works for a short while, then people get stuck at a certain body fat percentage. If you want to burn off as much stubborn body fat as desired, then interval training is the answer.

Interval Training Burns a Massive Amount of Calories in a Short Time

Although it seems logical to use traditional cardio, there are problems. With traditional "target heart rate" cardio you typically only burn calories when you are engaged in the workout. With interval training you are boosting your metabolism for many hours after the workout. It has been shown that interval training can burn up to 6 times the calories compared to traditional cardio. I suggest choosing interval training to drop body fat at much quicker rate than traditional aerobic exercise.

Here is an interval training workout that works very well. I have used several variations of this workout for 6 years and it keeps me at 6 to 8 percent body fat year round.

1) Hop on a treadmill, exercise bike, or elliptical machine

2) Walk at the typical "target heart rate" pace for one and a half minutes

3) Jog or peddle fast for 30 seconds (set the resistance higher)

4) Go back to the same Steady State Cardio Pace for 1.5 minutes

5) Jog or peddle fast for 30 seconds (higher speed/resistance than the first time)

6) You are going to repeat this cycle of intense and moderate for at least 20 minutes

Note: Start off the 30 seconds sprints at a moderate pace and go a bit faster for each of the remaining sprints. The last 30 second sprint should be your toughest. It is a good sign if you are short of breath, your skin is hot, and you are sweating. This is what will cause an increase of HGH in your body. Some people call this the "HGH flush"...this is what you are aiming for. Interval Training is tough, but you will love the results!

About the Author:

In need of a rediculously lean body instead of a bulky one? If you were to ask me 20 years ago, I would have told you that exercise was the key to a sexy body. While exercise is important, I think the real key to burning body fat and looking great is the result of a clean diet. If people ate properly, there would be many more toned people in gyms all over the world.

In a Perfect World You Should Combine Diet and Exercise

Everyone knows that exercise along with a good diet is a great approach to losing weight. The challenge with exercising is that often times life gets busy. There isn't always time to exercise, but you always have time for a proper diet. My suggestion is to keep your diet clean at all times, and exercise when time allows.

"You Can't Out-Exercise a Big Mac"

A Big Mac has 540 calories. Do you realize how much exercising it takes to burn those calories? Well about an hour on the elliptical trainer at a moderate pace would do the trick! So after an hour of boring cardio, you are back to square one. You probably won't lose weight at all especially if you added the fries and soft drink. Large fries would be an extra 570 calories and a large non-diet soft drink would be an extra 310 calories. So how much exercise would you have to do to burn 1,400+ calories? Let's not even go there!

It Is Much Easier to Create A Large Calorie Deficit With a Clean Diet

The best way to lose weight is through creating a large daily calorie deficit. The goal is to for your body to use more calories each day than what it consumes. If you wanted to lose a pound of fat on your body, you have to create a 3,500 calorie deficit over time. If you wanted to lose 2 pounds per week that would be a deficit of 7,000 calories over a week...or a daily calorie deficit of 1,000. Do you know it takes close to 2 hours of moderate cardio to burn 1,000 calories. The best plan is not to eat those calories in the first place!

Fat Loss Isn't Quite This Simple

The body is actually much more complex than simply responding precisely to a calorie deficit. There are WAY more variables that come into play when it comes to fat loss; the type of food you eat, the timing of your meals, the metabolic effect of exercise, the muscle sparing effect of resistance training, etc. There are a lot of things that come into the fat loss picture that I'm not addressing here.

Diet Play a Bigger Role in Fat Loss Than Most People Realize

Want to "spin your wheels" and not make any progress in the gym? The answer is to eat a terrible diet. Working out can be tough, so why waste all that time by eating a terrible diet? If you pick up any fitness magazine, over 80% of the articles are dedicated to exercising...the funny thing about this is that diet is the quickest route to a slim body. Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE believer in regular exercise! I just think it is sad that people don't ever hit their goals, because their diet is poor.

Your Will Get WAY More Out of Cardio When Your Diet is In Order

Show me an overweight person who works outs hard 5 times a week and I will show you a person who doesn't eat well! The mistake people often make in gyms is that they copy the workout routine of a person who is in great shape. The real reason that person is in great shape is because of their clean diet. True weight loss happens "behind the scenes". Working out speeds along the process, but the foundation of a great body is in a clean diet.

Bonus: Here is a Way to Increase Your Self-Discipline

The crazy thing about self-discipline is that it all depends upon the "way you think about things". We are impressed when we see someone who has strong self-discipline, but you would act the same if you thought like that person thought. Hope that makes sense. Here is the way I think about cardio exercise and diet that works for me. If I know I am going to workout hard later in the day, I will eat strictly. The reason I do this is that I actually want my exercise to mean something and burn body fat. During the day I will eat low calorie foods to prepare for my early evening workout. Often times the evening rolls around and I don't feel like exercising. Since I skipped the unhealthy food and spent all day getting my body ready to exercise, it would be foolish if I skipped a workout. I force myself to exercise, since I stuck to a strict diet during the day. This is a great way to make diet and exercise play off of each other.

About the Author:

Want a lean and hot body like Jessica Alba or Brad Pitt? Why is it that weight loss for women is always put on the backburner? Between, the kids, the job, the housecleaning and everybody else's wants and needs sometimes your needs are shoved to the side. The bottom line is that women are selfless but unfortunately there is some suffering that comes along with the ability to put everyone else first.

Do you often look and the mirror and wonder why everything looks so out of place? As a mom myself I realize that time just flies by and the pounds just pile on. Getting in shape may be the most prominent thing on your mind but sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day. I know from experience that it doesn't have to be that hard. Simply put, you just need to have a plan and then you have to force yourself to stick to you. Over the next few minutes, I am going to give you five ways to get yourself healthy all over again.

Eat Healthier. My first weight loss for women tip is to start eating right! Let's be realistic, none of us cook or have the time to cook exactly like Rachel Ray. But eating healthy does not mean you have to prepare two hour meals three times a day. Really, that would be ridiculous. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be healthy without an insane amount of effort. Plan these meals by shopping specifically for them. If you have the right food in your home and through the wrong ones out then you are taking the first step in the right direction.

Putting yourself first is a must. I by no means want you to neglect your family but take the time to let yourself relax. Weight loss for women can only be achieved by putting yourself first and staying health and happy. Keep in mind that in the end, your family will be the one who benefits more than anyone! Make yourself healthy things to eat, read a good book, take a long bath or just sit in silence and meditate. Whatever it is that you do to make yourself happy then make yourself do it. Ever heard the saying if mamma's not happy, nobody's happy? Well, isn't that the truth?

A Strong Desire for Self-Improvement. You have got to really want this to achieve it! Just thinking about weight loss for women is not going to get you there. You need to put yourself in a place in your life where you have had enough of the old ways and you are ready for the new way. It is easy to get sidetracked, especially with busy lives like ours. I was sick and tired of not fitting into my clothes, feeling utterly exhausted and just wasting away. So, I took action and nipped the problem at the bud because I desired it more than anything.

Unfortunately, wanting to lose weight and get into shape is only half the battle. There has to be some sort of lifestyle change on your part. This lifestyle change is going to require two things, healthy eating and a fitness program. I understand that a fitness program does sounds intimidating but believe me, I don't mean an hour and a half of exercise starting at 4 a.m. In reality, all you need to start out with is 15-30 minutes every other day of whatever you want. The goal is to stay active and this includes, walking, bike riding, swimming, dancing, you take your pick. The most important part of your fitness plan is going to be your sleep. Turn off the TV. at night and get some really great sleep so you feel invigorated for the next day!

Lastly, Go to http://www.weightlossformoms.net for a free report and guide on how to achieve the weight loss you have been waiting for. Here you will find information on any topic relating to weight loss for women. Whatever questions you may have, there is an answer, you just need someone who has had experience achieving the goals you want to set.

Don't make your new goals unattainable because you will fail. Start out slow and make sure you are ready to stick to your self commitments. After the first week or two of eating right and working out you will develop a habit of it. And then eventually you will start feeling so great that it will just come naturally to you!

About the Author:

Enter here and go to weight loss for women to learn an simple to follow method that can allow you lose weight fast. Despite the facts, many people still think they can get flat abs if they just keep doing enough ab exercises. That said, if all you want is to lose a little belly fat, and not necessarily to have flat abs, you should be able to significantly cut down on the ab exercises that you have to do. Just remember this is only if you want to lose a little belly fat, not if you want to achieve great looking flat abs.

The most effective way of flattening your stomach is a combination of strength training (with a extra focus on mid-section), cardiovascular exercise (short, hard workouts), and stable blood sugar (which keeps you from adding additional fat and makes it easier for the body to use body fat for fuel). This means you are less likely to store any excess calories as body fat because they are more likely to be used by your elevated metabolism. Therefore, strength training, cardiovascular exercise and stable blood sugar are by far the most important factors when it comes to burning away that excess body fat and keeping it off. So the goal is to essentially reduce your body fat percentage.

Exercise and proper diet are necessary to achieve and maintain weight loss and muscle definition. Aerobic exercises target specific areas of body. Weight training increases the body's overall metabolic rate, so in actuality it enhances the action of aerobics. Sure lots of crunches and other ab exercises may give you great tone and definition, but to see the best results you need to reduce the layer of body fat covering up those visible cuts referred to as 'six-pack' abs. Whatever exercise you do, it is extraordinarily important that you do the exercises correctly and on a regular basis whether it is biking, rowing, stair-climbing or dog-kicking. However to get great abs you need more than just exercise.

You need to create a diet that burns slightly more calories than consumed. For flatter abs, make carbs 45-65 percent (202-292 grams based on a 1,800-calorie diet) of your total daily calories. If you eat an extremely high-carb diet, you may store excess water, experience bloating and gain temporary water weight, this is why people who go on no- or very low-carb diets can initially lose weight so quickly. Begin by reducing your portion sizes and maintaining a balanced diet of carbs, protein and fat. From now on, think of 'diet' as a general eating 'lifestyle' rather than as the thing you see Richard Simmons trying to sell you.

You must get exercise, diet, and supplements (especially your diet) right on a consistent basis in order to even get close to flat abs. And, If you've lost body fat and you still don't have flat abs, don't be terribly upset not everyone are supermodels, it takes time and lots of effort. Many of us will never see those flat abs because of the constant energy, rules, and positive attitude needed to succeed, but don’t give up you’ll get there!!
<!– google_ad_section_end –>Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01929134319503071109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8069611677290475947.post-87029646455419823672007-11-06T02:09:00.000-08:002007-11-06T02:14:26.618-08:00WelcomeWelcome to How to get Flat Abs Fast.
