Your day reminds me of when my kids were toddlers and had tantrums at the most inappropriate times. I remember one night we were on our way home from a restaurant and my dd just let go of her balloon. She had a tantrum that you wouldn't believe. My husband couldn't take it and bought her a Tweety Bird balloon. Men! Oh the drama of those days! Now I can laugh about it, but then it was a bit stressful. It gets easier all the time, so enjoy the tears, tantrums and the drama.
