What a great treasure this genre of music is, both spiritually and aesthetically. Of the pieces you mentioned, I am only familiar with Rachmoninov’s Vespers. I wasn’t aware of his Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, nor of the other recommended works by Tchaikovsky and Gretchaninov. I look forward to discovering them!
