Chrome sucks, it doesn't have the features firefox has and it doesn't work on all the websites firefox does. Even if I could get past that, it doesn't offer security to protect your passwords. I'm amazed that google brought chrome out of beta in like 4 nano seconds, yet GMail has carried its beta status proudly since the day it was born. Don't get me wrong, I like google, heck I use just about every service they offer. But sometimes, they should stick to what they do best, web services.<br /><br /><a href="http://lifehacker.com/5279948/chromium-releases-official-mac-linux-browser-alphas">Lifehacker - Chromium Releases Official Mac, Linux Browser Alphas - chromium</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8028530608188840133-4615300853751119114?l=www.techtoilet.com%2Fblog.html'/></div>murffnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028530608188840133.post-58345316482695908252009-04-21T18:53:00.001-07:002009-04-21T18:57:37.205-07:00Chrome 2 Beta (Not Crap!)I'm a fan of Google Chrome and I like where it's headed. But I can't stop switching back to Firefox. There's always something that sends me back. Tonight Chrome made some progress back to my heart. I tried the new Chrome 2 beta, wow. I like it. My favorite new feature after just a few minutes is the new side by side view. Have a look at the image I took and the video by google.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.techtoilet.com/uploaded_images/chromesidebyside-758338.png"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 200px;" src="http://www.techtoilet.com/uploaded_images/chromesidebyside-758326.png" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wn97WbalJwM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wn97WbalJwM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8028530608188840133-5834531648269590825?l=www.techtoilet.com%2Fblog.html'/></div>murffnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028530608188840133.post-60814989862837357082009-04-21T08:41:00.000-07:002009-04-21T15:17:31.559-07:00TwittermaniaTwitter has exploded. Not literally like so many techies would like it to. But I think once Oprah enters the ring, it's safe to say a medium has exploded. For those techies who are moaning that the celebs have joined the party, I've got a great solution for you. Don't follow them. Now, was that difficult. I think not. Make Twitter work for you, follow who you want to follow and be happy. <br /><br />Here's your link<br /><a href="http://www.yaybia.com/2009/04/twitter-suddenly-totally-uncool-too.html">http://www.yaybia.com/2009/04/twitter-suddenly-totally-uncool-too.html</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8028530608188840133-6081498986283735708?l=www.techtoilet.com%2Fblog.html'/></div>murffnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028530608188840133.post-39931919666192758772008-03-25T08:21:00.000-07:002008-03-25T08:26:02.589-07:00Ebay: Used ToothbrushIt's on Ebay, so I'm calling it tech. I can't believe ANYONE would recommend using a blank password EVER! The so-called benefit of not being able to access it over the network is utter horse crap. At least that way you'll know the person who works on your computer.<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/24042772@N05/2287015412/">Thanks Geek Squad! on Flickr - Photo Sharing!</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8028530608188840133-378841227425629155?l=www.techtoilet.com%2Fblog.html'/></div>murffnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028530608188840133.post-79812451872605487002008-02-22T14:07:00.000-08:002008-02-22T14:07:03.986-08:00I4U News - Leisure Suit Larry Sails onto Mobile PhonesAh yes, nothing like a good Leisure Suit Larry game.
