Since Verizon's announcement last week I've been researching the Samsung i760 and the Verizon XV6800 very thoroughly. The XV6800 is also known as the HTC TyTN, so those wanting to get into the full details of the phone can start at HTC's site. I expect to see sales of the the XV6800 and 755p (and 755wx, if they incorporate it) trounce the i760...but you know how these technology predictions go...

The very helpful folks at howardforums have bailed me out again! I have a Motorola Krzr (Modell#: K1m, from Verizon) and couldn't figure out why the "contact id" ringtones I assigned to selected contacts wouldn't play. As you'll read in the discussion, there's a bug in the Verizon software that doesn't allow custom ringtones to play if "call vibrate" is set to "on" in the "Call Sounds" section
