(The first person essays by organs. i.e. I am jack's medulla oblongata).<BR/><BR/>The name of the central character is never mentioned, and it is a testament to the talent of the director and writers (of both the book and film) that this is not noticed.<BR/><BR/>It's a significant part of the plot - this character has no name, he is there to be imprinted upon. This character is sometimes Tyler Durden. This character is sometimes Jack's inflamed sense of rejection. This character is sometimes Jack's complete lack of surprise, but this character is never Jack.DaveDnoreply@blogger.com
