2nd place finish at New Hampshire

On Sunday June 28th Jeff finished 2nd behind Joey Logano in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Jeff was among the top 5 for most of the race and fort closely with teammate Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch. With 28 laps remaining the race was cut short due to the weather and Jeff was in a great position to claim 2nd place. Jeff is currently 2nd place in the standings and has closed the gap on Tony Stewart to just 69 points. Fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhart Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin finished 13th, 9th and 14th.

2nd place finish in Michigan

Jeff Gordon took another top 5 finish with a well deserved 2nd place in the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday. Thanks to a great pit strategy and not running out of fuel in the closing laps like other drivers, he collected his 8th top-five finish of the season. Jeff is still in 2nd place in the overall standings behind Tony Stewart by 47 points. Fellow Hendrick teammates Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhart, Jr., and Mark Martin finished 22nd, 14th and 1st.

Jeff Gordon Chevrolet donates $500 to youth baseball

This is the second year Jeff Gordon Chevrolet has participated in the Chevy Youth Baseball Program. As the baseball season starts to wind down at Winter Park Optimist it was time for Jeff Gordon Chevrolet to step forward once again and donate a further $500 to the club. This could not of come at a better time with the club facing possible cuts from the City, which could affect their fall baseball season. Along with the $500 check donation, Winter Park Optimist has already received equipment, t-shirts, free clinics put on by Cal-Ripken clinics and free raffle tickets for sale where-by fans and club goers can enter for their chance to win a Malibu and Traverse.

Another top finish for Jeff in the Pocono 500 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday. Jeff got back 'on track' with a strong performance and overall a good day for the Np. 24 team. This was Jeff's seventh top 5 finish of the season where he remains in 2nd place in the overall standings, 71 points behind Tony Stewart. Fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhart Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin finished 27th, 7th and 19th.

Jeff finishes 14th in Charlotte

A rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC gave Jeff an unlucky 14th place finish. He had much the better car during the race and was unlucky to finish 14th. The rain delays and pit stops put Gordon back in traffic only to see the red flag eventually come out and end the race. He is still ranked No.1, 44 points ahead of Tony Stewart. Fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhart Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin finished 40th, 13th and 17th.

Jeff Gordon finishes 19th in Charlotte

Saturday May 16th saw NASCAR stop at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC for the Sprint Cup. Jeff won the third segment of the Sprint All-Star Challenge and led for 11 laps. Gordon took the lead from Kyle Busch on lap 11 of 20 in the third heat race in which he held on to capture this segment of the All-Star Challenge. Jeff is now in position for a shot at the one million dollar cash prize.

THE UNVEILING OF THE MUCH ANTICIPATED 2010 CHEVY CAMARO

Wednesday May 6th, 2009 - 228 South College Road.....is the day when the ALL new Camaro rolled in to town.

The showroom was full of Camaro fans eagerly awaiting their first glimpse of the 2010 Chevy Camaro. They were not disappointed, a striking bold yellow 2LT model sat proudly in the showroom for them all to see. Despite a back problem Jeff finished 8th at the Richmond International Raceway on Saturday May 2nd. Jeff managed to lead for 96 laps during Saturday's race and maintains his 1st place series standings by 10 points. Fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhart Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin finished 27th, 36th and 5th.

Jeff finishes 25th in Phoenix

On Saturday April 18th in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway Jeff only managed a 25th place finish after running much of the race in the top 10. It was not until a bad pit stop late in the race that put Jeff well down in the points finishing 25th. Jeff's points lead has now been reduced to 85 points over teammate Jimmie Johnson. Fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhart Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin finished 31st, 4th and 1st.

Jeff finally got his first win of the season and stopped his 47-winless streak in the Samsung 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway. Jeff now leads the points standings by 162 points ahead of 2nd place Jimmie Johnson. Jeff finishes fourth in Martinsville, VA

On Sunday March 29th Jeff finished in fourth place at the Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway. It was another almost win in which Jeff lead for many laps in the early part of the race. A fourth place finish meant that Jeff would maintain his overall championships points lead ahead of Clint Bowyer by 89 points.

Participants

Participants will need to wear and bring their own baseball gear. Practice apparel or team uniforms are acceptable, as are cleats or tennis shoes. Each child should have their own glove, and may bring their own bat if available. Each child is required to bring the signed Waiver on the day of the clinic.

Family Members

Family members are encouraged to attend the clinics, but we recommend that you bring a cooler with refreshments as concessions will not be available. A post-clinic meal will be provided for all participants, and may be available for spectators at a nominal fee.

Jeff finished 4th in the Food City 500 at Bristol on Sunday March 22nd. Gordon managed to hold a top 10 place for much of the race but didn't quite manage to take his #24 Chevy Impala SS to first place. Jeff still leads the points standings with 794 points and 76 points ahead of Kurt Busch. On Saturday March 14th, 2009 the Coastline Convention Center in Wilmington, NC hosted the 8th annual Cape Fear Maternity & Baby Expo. Jeff Gordon Chevrolet was present, displaying the brand new Chevy Traverse and Chevy Malibu. As part of the expo Jeff Gordon Chevrolet held a free prize drawing for a lucky person to win a brand new Combi Shuttle Infant car seat. Over 300 people entered and the lucky winner was Jacqueline Sanders from Leland, NC.
