Este post me lo voy a aventar solo en espanol y precisamente porque me da gusto que La Lucha Mexican expanda sus horizontes, desde que El Hijo del Santo ha hecho sus presentaciones tanto en Inglaterra como en Espana, la CMLL no se podia quedar con los brazos cruzados y va a ser sus primeras presentaciones en Europa.
Lo Bueno... Ver a luchadores como Atlantis, Ultimo Guerrero,Dos Caras jr, Olimpico, Mascara Purpura (todavia tengo que verificar porque aparece en fotos y promocionales pero en el articulo actualizado no se menciona)..es garantia de un espectaculo increible..si ahi alguien de mis amigos en Espana me manda fotos de las presentaciones de Agosto pues se los voy a agradecer.
Lo Malo...Mistico esta en el cartel que puse pero parece que no se va a presentar asi que no se a ciencia cierta con quien lo van a substituir, digo malo porque es el mas espectacular es el y Mascara Purpura son muy buenos acrobatas asi que es una lastima ya que el Mistico se va a ir a Japon a los juegos Olimpicos como cronista de una televisora Mexicana.

Esta es la informacion que encontre del evento el periodista es Alfredo Ascencio.
Llevan a casi todo el cartel importante y las estrellas iran en Noviembre u Octubre

El Consejo Mundial de lucha libre, con sus grandes figuras, se lanzará a la conquista de España en agosto próximo, como parte de los festejos por el 75 aniversario de la empresa mexicana.

Gracias a la alianza de la Seria y Estable con el grupo Líder Mundial en Eventos (donde son socios Francisco Camino y la cantante mexicana Dulce), casi una treintena de luchadores, referís y edecanes del Consejo, staff mexicano y hasta dos rings aztecas arribarán a tierras ibéricas para deleite del público europeo, con una inversión que superaría los ocho millones de pesos, según los promotores.

Los estetas que acudirán a España son: Dos Caras Jr., La Mascara, Felino, Máximo, Stuka Jr., Valiente, Hijo del Fantasma, Metálico, Fabián el Gitano, Flash, Astro Boy, Molotov y Metalik.

Como rufianes van: Atlantis, Heavy Metal, Olímpico, Damián 666, Mr. Aguila, Hijo de Lizmark, Virus, Nosfertu, Euforia, Nitro, Hooligan, Arkangel, Súper Comando, Artillero y Loco Max.

Tigre Hispano y Rafael "El Maya" vigilarán las luchas en las cinco presentaciones, que arrancarán el 14 de agosto en la Plaza de Toros de Valencia (18 mil aficionados), el 18 en el Palacio de los Deportes de Santander (12 mil aficionados), luego el 19 en el coso taurino de Alicante (10 mil aficionados), después el 21 en Marbella (8 mil 500 aficionados) y finalizan el 22 en San Sebastián de los Reyes (10 mil aficionados).

"El sueño es llevar a estos grandes deportistas a toda Europa y vamos a empezar con la gira de cinco días por España, es un plan muy grande, con mucho entusiasmo y amor", comentó la cantante Dulce, quien reveló que utilizarán a un mariachi en las funciones y lanzarán un disco con música de luchadores.

Por su parte, Juan Manuel Mar, directivo del CMLL, adelantó que habrá dos giras más a plazas españolas en octubre y noviembre de este año, donde aparecería Místico, Dr. Wagner y el Hijo del Perro Aguayo. El próximo año buscarán ampliar horizontes en Francia, Inglaterra, Alemania, Turquía, Hungría, Rumania, Israel y Austria.

I was browsing as usual La carcel de Papel and it was an interesting documentary (sorry in spanish) about the comic in Chile,
The sad part is that in many many ways is exactly the same as it is in my country!!

I guess you can understand us more (artists in latinoamerica) watching this video done in 2005!

Long time ago I was working on my samples for different companies and I just wanted to have fun and I decided to use for the fun of it a mexican wrestler.
Now I can see improvements in my work from this pages up to work I am doing now.

El estimado Manuel Barrero esta haciendo publico el relanzamiento de una de las historicas paginas de internet (como son la carcel de papel o con c de arte) que por lo menos para muchos de nosotros como artistas siempre ha sido un referente de lo que acontece en el mundo espanol.

Los dejo con sus palabras...

El lunes de la presente semana lanzamos la nueva etapa de la revista Tebeosfera (www.tebeosfera.com), publicación de estudio sobre el cómic y el humor gráfico. Durante unos días hemos estado comprobando su funcionamiento y solventando asuntos técnicos. Con todo, se trata de un número 0, de presentación y avance, previo a lo que será el primer número de la revista web plenamente operativa.

La nueva Tebeosfera se plantea como un proyecto serio y colectivo de información, opinión y catalogación. Abrimos esta nueva etapa con un gran catálogo de tebeos publicados en España, el mayor de todos los existentes hasta ahora (con casi 6.000 colecciones de tebeos catalogadas), una gran base de datos de obras teóricas sobre historieta (cerca de 500 libros), y un montón de artículos, reseñas y noticias pensadas para satisfacer todos los paladares.

Nuestras pretensiones es ir actualizando nuestros contenidos diariamente, agrupando los trabajos de mayor peso en bloques monográficos que se irán ofreciendo como números de la publicación. Todo lo incorporado alimentará una gran base de datos que esperamos sea de utilidad tanto para el aficionado como para el investigador. Nuestra filosofía editorial es simple: ordenar las publicaciones, documentos, artífices y eventos de nuestra historieta y dar a comprender a todos, sean aficionados o no al cómic, que este es un medio de altura, con mil facetas, imbricado en nuestra cultura más allá de la mera anécdota .

Ya lo han tratado algunos blogs y nosotros no podíamos por menos que hacernos eco de la puesta en marcha de nuevo de la magnifica web de Manuel Barrero TEBEOSFERA.
Con un diseño en portada similar a uno de aquellos míticos cuadernillos apaisados, en donde algunos de nuestros mas veteranos socios dibujaban y publicaban en las ya míticas editoriales, esta pagina web regresa como un proyecto mucho mas amplio y potente, combinando el formato de revista con su vocación de gran base de datos entorno al cómic.

Como comentaba Alvaro Pons: "Y no es una simple vuelta, porque Barrero ha recargado pilas y nos regala lo que con seguridad será a partir de ahora una herramienta inexcusable para los estudiosos del tebeo, con completas guías del tebeo publicado en España, diccionarios de autores, etc…"
Y es que no es para menos, ya que esta segunda época viene avalada por un proyecto de Manuel en profundidad y con un concepto muy claro y completo con referencia a su estructura y utilidad. Tal y como comenta el propio Manuel en su Blog:

"Tebeosfera es un esfuerzo colectivo, de todos para todos. Queremos catalogar todos los tebeos españoles, queremos conocer al dedillo nuestra historieta, nuestros autores, todo lo que quedó atrás y olvidado, todo lo que llega, los estudios que se están fraguando y los simposios que se celebran, los festivales, cada novedad teórica... Well this is the final result and the beautiful color work is done by TOZANI.
An incredible artist from my country and overall a great friend of mine, He is one of those guys I want to emulate in his humble way of being towards life and The way he moves about art, photography and his design work.
La tierra de Nod (The characters shown on the piece) is a concept that involves music, a movie and some stuff like comics, I have to say I know a little about the project and in fact the piece was done to help a friend in common, so If I know more about La tierra de Nod I will let you know guys!!!

Hey guys, I am starting to have a light load of work, I only need to work on the pages of Rocket Girl (I am still waiting for the script), some illustrations for a magazine and some proposals.
If you can tell editors that I am available for Paid Cover Artwork let them know I exist .
I can not accept for now sequential work because I already have this year work in Mexico, in USA and hopefully in Spain. So Cover Artwork for me is a go and ready to do!.

Announcements the great RENATO GUERRA will be coloring Cover number 2 of COMIKAZE.
Over Monday I will finally send the colored piece and the amazing artist helping me on this, We did something for LA TIERRA DE NOD, as I posted sooner I did it because a friend of mine asked me to and happy to collaborate, sorry We couldn´t set the illustration on time but will help for a next Poster.
There is another project that I hope soon to be announced so expect for good things in fact two projects with my friends!!!

I wanted to say thanks to RENATO, PEZTE AND RAULMAN for all the help and support you are giving me guys!!

The mascara asked me to start a Devclub made of Lucha so I guess soon We will let you know how to join it, El Mascara will be the organizer of mostly everything.

Guys I want to draw and ink a piece of ATLANTIS just for the fun of it and also to celebrate his 25th Anniversary, so If a colorist (check my gallery to see the standars ) wants to do it just for the fun, let me know!!)

Amigos, ya estoy teniendo un poco de menos carga de trabajo, por ahora estoy haciendo las paginas de Rocket Girl (todavia me falta que me manden el script para empezar), algunas ilustraciones para una revista y unas propuestas en las que estoy.
ASI QUE SI PUEDEN CORRER LA VOZ DE QUE TENGO TIEMPO PARA HACER PORTADAS (trabajo pagado por supuesto) no sean malos si conocen algun editor que se interese pues cuentenles de mi!!
Por ahora no puedo aceptar trabajo secuencial de comic porque ya hay algunos planes y mi palabra dada para algunas cosas en Mexico, en USA y espero en España proximamente, pero si tengo el tiempo suficiente para hacer cualquier trabajo de illustracion o portada y eso lo puedo hacer de inmediato!.

ANUNCIOS.
El chido del RENATO GUERRA es el colorista de la PORTADA DEL PROXIMO COMIKAZE 2.
Ya por fin el lunes a mas tardar le pongo el arte del artista que me hizo el honor y el favor de colorear una portada dibujada, esta portada poster es DE LA TIERRA DE NOD, aqui tengo que establecer que hice la portada porque me lo pidio un amigo y esta quedando bastante perrona, lastima que los tiempos se vinieron encima pero espero utilicen la portada en algo a futuro.
Hay otros dos anuncios mas que espero se puedan hacer publicos pronto y estan poca poca madre, y ademas pues esta hecho con los amigos y eso es lo que me tiene fascinado.

Quisiera agradecer a los vatos del RENATO, PEZTE y al RAULMAN por la ayuda que siempre me dan y ademas de aguantarme.

El mascara quiere que hagamos un DEVCLUB de lucha asi que esperen noticias pronto para que se metan a participar, creo que el sera el encargado de mucha de la organizacion de todo por mis tiempos.

LA ULTIMA Y ME DESPIDO
Quiero hacer nada mas por gusto un poster del ATLANTIS y celebrar asi su 25 Aniversario como luchador asi que si algun colorista se anima nada mas para divertirnos pues que me avise (chequen el trabajo de color en la galeria para que vean el nivel que necesito minimo)..Esto es solo de diversion y pues tambien me ayuda a que sea la segunda pieza que haga para el DEVCLUB de lucha!!

COLORS Part I

When I started drawing and inking I always had on mind that I had to be really careful to my teams of work and I gotta say life and God has been so great with me and I will mention now some people that I consider my friends but also are amazing artists working aside me.
I have to recognize the hard work they are doing , and as I know They will be part of my success and I want them to be there so We can harvest the same. I do really want to give my eternal thank yous to them.
I will mention them as they arrived to my life.

I gotta say that Renato´s quality is the professionalism and ethic in the work, I always feel comfortable to work with, He is fast, sharp and effective.
I can announce this He will be the colorist for the Cover of COMIKAZE 2 so stay tuned, We are also planning many things together. I can only say great things about his work. He always the first choice for mainstream work.

Damn! This amazing little fella will become something really big in the industry, I am sure, We share some similar thoughts about art, at his young age of 19 I can say He is a true artist. We are adapting really fast to eachother and also We have some plans that can suit our visions artistically talking. so stay tuned also for the plans We have in works.
He rocks and I wish I had had his skills at that age!

RAULMAN aka RAUL MANRIQUEZ.
Man! This is the kind of guy that can take your work to a higher level asap , and funny but I am so sure a lot of work done by us will be shown in the Comic Industry soon and We will be attach in the future in other ones. He has always the right choice and I am sure We are going to have many projects together, at the moment We are speaking He has colored some incredible work that I hope to make it public soon. His work on my work makes mine really strong and I do really appreciate it a lot.

I am sure that part of the good things coming my way are due to these artists and I hope the plans We have together stay for a long long time, I know it will be like that.:)
