Maybe it's a mix of it almost being that time of the month, mixed with a suddenly high occurrence of creepiness in my life, & seriously not having enough hours in the day for work, school, applications, and extracurriculars....i'm just getting a little fed up and annoyed, I think I'm gonna have to start setting aside "special time" so I can highlight these creeps.

I'm a true romantic, in love with love, but am starting to think that that stuff really is only in the movies =( b/c there is nothing romantic about these strangers...

i don't know you, don't know how you got my email so if you really want to know about the Filipino culture email me your questions, otherwise....NO.

Whether they are trying to get at you or not, I do not like when people use your race, ethnicity, cultural background as a way in. Just cause you know how to say a couple of words in my language, like lumpia or pancit, or guessed that I was Filipino on the first try does not mean you know a person or that you can relate at all to that person.

Short but Long

I've never ever had such a strong desire to cut my hair short. Short cuts usually appear strong, hard, and edgy to me, a la Rihanna. But then...

Ashley Olsen caught my eye on Marie Claire, and if I don't already subscribe to a fashion mag, I very seldom by a magazine based on the cover alone. But Ash just stopped me in my tracks.

I think I might have to cut my hair! But what I love about this cut is that it's soft and short but still looks long, and looks like it would grow out nicely, without having to go through that weird, ugly, awkward in between stage when I decide I want my long hair back. What do you think?

The 90's are officially back, and I never thought I'd be be happy to welcome it's return. I remember wearing a lot of velvet and crochet back during these questionable fashion years...but ShopBop has definitely put Velvet in a new light. I never thought this fabric could look this good?!

LA Homecoming...

Gonna be in LA August 13th-25th. So excited to be going home to see my family, my dog, and all my best girlfriends. Just want to relax, chill, and enjoy the weather.

Flying tomorrow morning, hooked up 1st Class thanks to Tristan!! I just hope they don't pull a TK on me, but I think I'll be fine. See you in LA, and tomorrow night I'll be Hollywood!

Lately...

I can't do without...so hooked on....my new favorite Make-up Brand...

Benefit.

I know, it's nothing new, they're cute packaging always caught my eye, but I was always caught up with other brands i.e. Clinique (middle school), MAC (what girl isn't), Lancome (still my favorite Mascara maker), Dior, etc etc etc...

Since coming to New York the weather has done a number on my skin, maybe it's the seasons that this LA girl isn't used to but whatever it is, the most recent problem I had was super duper dry skin, like it was flaking everywhere. You know when you get sunburned and your face starts peeling, you try to cover it up with make-up but then your face just looks cakey and splotchy and just a mess? Except I wasn't sunburned, it rained the whole month of June!

Luckily all I needed was some heavy duty moisturizer. This is the one I'm using. Basically, I think my skin is telling me that I'm not getting any younger and I better start taking care of what i got.

K so back to Benefit, I couldn't use powder anymore, but I couldn't walk around without anything. Also I was looking for a peachy pinky blush to give me that summer glow.

That's when Benefit came into my life, and now i can't live without:

Foundation is not heavy at all, only comes in Light and Dark. I use dark, and it basically just evens you out, makes your skin look and feel smooth. Enhances rather than covers up.

Posie Tint I think this shade looks especially good on warmer skin tones. I put this on my cheeks and lips. as this picture demonstrates, sorta.

Try em' both, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Overall, this season of SYTYCD wasn't as good as past seasons, but if there's just one reason why you should pay attention to this season it would have to be Janine. This was so beautiful, everything from the song, to Travis' choreography, and the chemistry between Jason and Jeanine. Beautiful.

I forgot how much fun/scary they could be. This was at the Franklin Square Park in Philly. This was pretty much our last stop on our Philly trip. It was a cute park with a carousel, miniature golf, and playground. I'll post pictures up soon.

I wear these sandals everywhere. I am a little over the gladiator style, just a little...these are like a bandage dresses for my feet.

The September issue is probably the most important issue ofthe year for fashion magazines since it features everything that is coming up for the Fall. The September issue is packed with great ads & the one ad that I cannot help but stop and pause every time I come across it is Madonna's Louis Vuitton F/W 2009-10 Ad campaigns.

She looks absolutely gorgeous, probably the best I've ever seen her, and absolutely, without a doubt, the people at LV have airbrushed the life out of her. But whatevs, she looks good =)

Having a long distance love (LDL) means you have to pack in as many dates into however long or short the visit is. Luckily the BF was in town for 2 whole weeks, he just left yesterday...so were able to do a lot of things. Among the many things we did while he was here, I made sure to squeeze in the quintessential date night of dinner and a movie.

First we went to Joe's Shanghai to finally try their world famous Soup Dumplings where parties are seated with other parties at round tables that fit about 6-8 people. Then we went to see the movie pictured above. I loved everything about this movie. The actors, the clothes, the way it was shot, the music, the way in which Los Angeles was filmed in a different light that only the locals could appreciate. And I couldn't help but be reminded of my brother who looks a lot like Joseph....

Go watch it already!!

Love this song! The video is pretty funny, and Drake's acting is much better in this video compared to his work on Degrassi. I also like the girls in this video, they are thick and curvy, oh and most importantly of age. If you saw the 2009 BET awards you know what I'm talking about, which apparently was Lil Wayne's Daughter and Friends.
