Happiness tends to be a fleeting emotion. In general with the state of my life I would consider it "content and fulfilled." When I think of saying that I am "happy" with my life, it seems a little superficial. I imagine happy being more of a short-term emotion and contentment and satisfaction with respect to the overall picture.Karlahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00008523929611888366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856775.post-74675823519504086412008-09-16T16:44:00.000-04:002008-09-16T16:44:00.000-04:00I'm generally happy with my life, too, although I ...I'm generally happy with my life, too, although I do find I have a lot of stress -- again, brought on as you said, mainly by my own over-achievement.

I don't care about keeping up with the Joneses, but I do feel like I want to be involved in my kids' lives. And I would consider myself very open-minded. Is everything grand? No, there is sometimes not enough money and never enough time and life with teens--well, that says it all! BUT I really try to remain grateful for my many blessings...andjourney2learnhttp://profile.typekey.com/journey2learn/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856775.post-67939701190984905562008-09-16T14:57:00.000-04:002008-09-16T14:57:00.000-04:00Interesting thought since I just posted similar qu...Interesting thought since I just posted similar question on a forum yesterday about this topic! Personally, I am VERY happy with my life-it is a comfortable life and I do not have that desire to keep up with the Jones's so it keeps my life in perspective. I am NOT happy with the direction the country is going in though which takes away some of my happiness. I am sometimes fearful of the future Jill Chttp://www.coolphotoideas.comnoreply@blogger.com
