Muito interessante. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;A seguir entra Leos Carax, que não deixa os seus créditos por mãos alheias e nos dá o episódio mais bizarro do trio: um lunático que fala uma linguagem esquisita, emerge dos esgotos para aterrorizar a população de Tóquio. O seu nome é, nem mais nem menos que Merde, e diz que obedece ao seu Deus, que o envia para os países que mais detesta. No final é-nos prometida uma sequela em Nova Iorque ("Merde in USA")... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Para o final fica o melhor segmento deste filme em crescendo. É realizado pelo coreano Joon-ho Bong (o realizador de 'The Host/A criatura') e o seu protagonista é um &lt;i&gt;hikikomori&lt;/i&gt;, termo que se refere uma daquelas especificidades japonesas, neste caso a pessoas que se recusam a sair de casa e se isolam totalmente da sociedade. É todo um retrato do Japão que nos é dado através de um melancólico homem que se aventura a sair de casa pela primeira vez em 10 anos, depois de se ter apaixonado por uma entregadora de &lt;em&gt;pizza&lt;/em&gt; que desmaia à porta de sua casa aquando de um terramoto...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;No final, ficamos surpreendidos&amp;nbsp;com dois aspectos raros neste tipo de filmes: a curiosa unidade formal dos três segmentos, e o papel efectivo que o 'elemento Japonês' tem em todos eles, não se limitando nenhum a tomar Tóquio como mera paisagem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: #cccccc;"&gt;Tokyo!, França, Japão, Alemanha, Coreia do Sul, 2008. Um argumento minimal, uma câmara sóbria, atenta, próxima. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Não me é fácil explicar porque gosto tanto deste filme, que nem me marcou assim tanto à primeira, mas que se foi entranhando mais e mais a cada revisão. O tema é um clássico do género (o homem com um passado misterioso, que tenta levar uma vida ‘normal’ - mas o destino não o permite) e Cronenberg parte daí para uma inquietante reflexão sobre a contaminação pela violência. Notoriamente que no meio de tantos efeitos especiais e 3D (e na minha modesta opinião é mais ou menos indiferente ser em 3D), a maioria das personagens acabam por ser um bocado... unidimensionais, raramente escapando ao estereotipo. Estou farto de cinemas democráticos no Porto. O Porto precisa tanto de cinemas democráticos como de concertos do Pedro Abrunhosa. Desde o outlet em Vila do Conde até ao Arrábida Shopping em Gaia o distrito do Porto está cheio de cinemas democráticos. A cada 10km de auto-estrada há um cinema democrático que não vale um charuto. Se fosse para abrir outro cinema democrático com o nome de Cinemateca não seria precisa nenhuma Cinemateca no Porto. O Porto precisa exactamente de um sítio em que a programação seja elaborada com todos os cuidados, mas que um desses cuidados não seja a mínima preocupação de atrair uma boa quantidade democrática de público. Um casal ouve barulhos estranhos durante a noite. Ela, que&amp;nbsp;já tem experiência de actividades paranormais desde criança (mas nunca lhe contou a ele) fica assustadíssima. Ele, que é ultra-racional, só pensa em desvendar o mistério. Compra então uma câmara&amp;nbsp; (pois claro) e&amp;nbsp;coloca-a a filmar o tempo todo, mormente durante a noite (supostamente vemos todo o filme através desta câmara).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;O resultado? Bom, confesso que passei dois terços do filme a pensar "tanto barulho por isto"? Mas, tal como o protagonista masculino, depois de tanta espera, de tantas imagens fixas nocturnas, de tantos ruídos e estremecimentos vagos (o realizador tem a inteligência de nunca mostrar demasiado), quando as coisas começaram a aquecer, senti alguma angústia. E, admito, os dez minutos finais conseguem levar a tensão a níveis acima da média, acabando o filme em grande (se bem que eu preferisse que acabasse numa cena anterior). E, talvez a intenção do realizador fosse mesmo pôr-nos a marinar até este crescendo final.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Tudo somado, diria que é um filme simpático, nos antípodas do 'gore' actual, que não desapontará os fãs de terror e é capaz de assustar verdadeiramente (e é esse o objectivo de um filme como este) o espectador menos batido...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: #cccccc;"&gt;Paranormal Activity, E.U.A., 2007. E desde 'Rumble Fish' (1983) que não filmava a preto e branco. Não quero dizer que haja aqui um regresso às "origens". Há uma parte operática em 'Tetro' que remete para o universo de 'O Padrinho', para não falar do tal argumento, basicamente, uma vez mais, sobre a família. Apenas pretendo sublinhar que nesta "2ª fase" da carreira, Coppola faz o que muito bem lhe dá na veneta. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;E se não há duvida que se mantém uma coerência com a obra passada, não é menos verdade que, tal como em 'Uma segunda juventude, ‘ há uma sensação de estranheza ao ver esta obra que não nos abandona. Há um lado onírico, espectral, que a torna diferente dos trabalhos anteriores a 'Uma segunda juventude'. Não provém tanto do argumento (Vicente Gallo, o filho de um maestro famoso, tenta lidar com o 'fantasma' do pai), nem do preto e branco (extraordinário), nem da maneira de filmar (Coppola continua um mestre); é algo de mais ténue, que tem a ver com alguma indefinição própria dos sonhos, em que nem tudo encaixa na perfeição, há buracos, zonas de sombra, momentos surreais, impressões fugidias. Lembrei-me várias vezes de Orson Welles, do desequilíbrio de vários dos seus filmes, ainda assim sempre belos, com planos que redimiam quase tudo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Mas o exemplo mais próximo que me ocorre é o das obras finais de Hitchcock, em que este não parou de desconcertar os seus fãs com filmes insólitos e surpreendentes. E se eu não vou ao ponto de pôr 'Intriga em família' (ou 'Tetro') acima de 'Vertigo' (ou 'O Padrinho’), a verdade é que é um filme que não deixa de me fascinar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: #cccccc;"&gt;Tetro, E.U.A./Itália/Espanha/Argentina, 2009. A mãe preocupa-se com ele, mas acima de tudo com ela própria e com o seu romance com um homem que conheceu num bar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Martial tem 16 anos e tem que se adaptar a uma nova escola e a uma nova vida e nada disso lhe agrada. Uma loirinha engraça com ele, mas ele é que não lhe liga nenhuma. Apenas as fantásticas gémeas Colette e Ernestine despertam o seu interesse. Andam sempre juntas, não ligam a ninguém e parecem saídas de um filme mudo. Aliás, durante metade do filme, uma delas só segreda ao ouvido da outra, que é por assim dizer a porta-voz do dueto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Elas vão envolvendo Martial no seu mundo, nomeadamente no seu &lt;em&gt;hobby&lt;/em&gt; que é penetrarem em casas de estranhos. Este sente-se desconcertado com o seu comportamento, mas ao mesmo tempo fascinado. Ou morre ou fica melhor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Durante meio filme,&amp;nbsp;esta nova obra (de 2008)&amp;nbsp;de&amp;nbsp;Laurence Ferreira Barbosa é uma muito divertida comédia sobre a adolescência, mas também sobre o mundo moderno, sobre as famílias disfuncionais. Depois engonha um bocado, normaliza-se - e nem vou repisar no lugar-comum que associa (filmes) franceses e sexo - e acaba de uma forma um bocado chocha. Mas, tal como para Martial, se o final não é brilhante, a experiência do que passamos vale a pena. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Talvez seja por ver(mos)&amp;nbsp; tantos filmes americanos, mas a verdade é que mesmo um filme 'corrente' francês como este me trás sempre um sabor diferente. Todos estes filmes têm em comum o argumentista, Guillermo Arriaga, e este é sem dúvida um dos principais 'culpados' da marca autoral destes filmes, caracterizados por&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;narrativas não lineares, hiatos temporais, episódios segmentados. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Tal como outros argumentistas 'autores', também Arriaga não resistiu a passar para trás da câmara e realizar um seu argumento. Arriaga é acima de tudo um bom contador de histórias, e essa característica mantém-se nesta obra, em que dois segmentos espaçados temporalmente se vão encandeando, até formarem o &lt;em&gt;puzzle&lt;/em&gt; completo, retratando um drama familiar, numa zona de fronteira.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;A realização é 'neutra', pondo-se ao serviço do argumento, há um bom naipe de actores, destacando-se Kim Basinger e&amp;nbsp;Charlize Theron, e no global é um filme sólido e adulto, em que&amp;nbsp;o espectador não dá o seu tempo por perdido.
