(2) Candidates’ having completed Foundation Course on Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 3 months from a Computer Institute, is desirable. The requirement of having completed the said Course will be waived in case of those candidates having Computer subject as part of the curriculum at the Pre- Degree / Degree level.

(3) Knowledge of Regional Language of a particular State / Union Territory for which candidate apply, is desirable.

(1) The Educational Qualifications prescribed above for the post is the minimum. Candidates must possess the qualifications as on 30.04.2009. If selected for interview they should furnish (1)(a) HSC Passing Certificate and (b) University FINAL DEGREE Passing (CONVOCATION) Certificate. (Provisional Degree Passing Certificate will be accepted only in case of those candidates who have passed the Degree Final Examination during the last 1 year, i.e. between 01.05.2008 and 30.04.2009 and the University has not conferred the Degree on the applicant – Degree Certificate required to grant additional increment / fitment, if eligible) & (2) Year-wise / Semester-wise Mark sheet for each year / semester in respect of the Degree Examinations from the educational institution they have studied, and (3) Computer Course Passing Certificate from a Computer Training Institute in support of having completed the Foundation Course in Computer Awareness.

(2) The Percentage of Marks stipulated for the Educational Qualification is for General (Unreserved) Category Candidates. Candidates belonging to the Reserved Category (SC / ST / OBC / PWD), filling in vacancies reserved for the relevant category, will be entitled to a relaxation of 5% Marks in relation to that stipulated for General Category Candidates. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD categories filling in “unreserved” vacancies will not be entitled to the above referred relaxation.

6. SELECTION METHODOLOGY:

The final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in Written objective test of 300 marks and Personal Interview of 100 Marks. In order to qualify for interview the candidate is required to obtain minimum 40 % marks in each objective test (35% marks for Reserved Category) and 50% marks in all the Objective Tests taken together. (45% marks for Reserved Category).

Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Written Test and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in the Written Test shall be called for a Personal interview in the ratio of 1:3. Mere pass in the Written Test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Personal Interview. If sufficient number of reserved category candidates is not available, the provisions of extended Zone of consideration will be applied as per extent guidelines in this regard.

State wise merit lists of candidates passing the Written Test and the Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the Written Test & Interview, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category.

Appointment of the short-listed / selected candidate is subject to his / her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank. Such appointment and confirmation in the services of the Bank will also be subject to receiving satisfactory references from respectable referees, police verification of antecedents, caste / class verification, and other compliances.

Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens to fill up vacancies in
following ranks in Central Reserve Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India in the
pay scale mentioned against each with DA, Ration Money and other allowances as admissible to
the members of the Force from time to time as well as free accommodation, uniform, LTC,
medical facilities etc. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent . Selected
candidates will be governed by CRPF Act and Rules. Selected candidates shall be liable to serve
any where in India and abroad:-

SELECTION PROCESS :
The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit Cards to appear in recruitment test.
The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit Cards.
Candidates will have to undergo the following tests:
A) PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT

Candidates who are found eligible on screening of their original
educational certificates will be subjected to height, chest and weight
measurements. Those found fit will be sent for PET.
B) PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST(PET) :

The candidates who fulfill physical standards will be required to pass
Physical Efficiency Test consisting of following events:
a) 100 Meter Run in 16 seconds max.
b) 1.6 Kms run in 6.5 minutes max.
c) Long Jump : 3.65 Mtrs in 3 chances
d) High Jump : 1.2 Mtrs in 3 chances
e) Shot Put : 4.5 Mtrs in 3 chances

Note:-A candidate must qualify in all the above events. Failure to qualify in any of the
above events of PET will render the candidate disqualified to appear in written
examination. PET does not carry any marks.
C) WRITTEN TEST
The candidates who qualify the PET are to appear for the written test.

The written examination comprises of the following papers:-

I) FOR SI (RO/CRY/TECH)
Paper-I 1 Hour 100 Marks
General Test
a) General Intelligence and Reasoning
b) General Awareness
Paper-II 1 Hour 100 Marks
SI (RO) : Physics, Maths, Computer Science or Statistics

Note:- Paper-I is common for all categories of candidates. Paper-II on the
above subjects will be attended by the candidates applied for respective
categories. Both papers will be in objective type except the topic of
English Language Comprehension for SI (Crypto) post.
II) FOR ASI (TECH)
Only One Paper 1 Hour 100 Marks
Objective type questions consists of Maths, Physics/ Science and General
awareness.
Minimum cut off percentage of marks for qualifying the Written Test for
all posts will be as per details under:-
a) General and Ex- Servicemen : 35%
b) SC/ ST/ OBC : 33%
Candidates scoring minimum marks in the written test will be eligible to
be called for the Interview.

D) INTERVIEW AND PERSONALITY TESTS
i) Eligible candidates three times the number of vacancies in each post and
category will be called for interview and personality test.
ii) Interview and personality test will be of maximum 50 marks.

E) MEDICAL TEST
Candidates who qualify the Written Test and Interview will be called
for the medical examination according to the merit as per vacancies in
each post and category. The Medical Examination will be conducted as
per laid down CRPF standards.
