If you look at fantasy football leagues, most I've seen are a lot of teams hovering around .500 with 1 or 2 teams dominating the season. It's pretty much the same in the NFL and it's because injuries are running rampant this year.Chrishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03065487719474316198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794296.post-2517206424525281552007-12-02T10:50:00.000-05:002007-12-02T10:50:00.000-05:00Maybe .500 at best in the AFC was not the right th...Maybe .500 at best in the AFC was not the right thing to say. Maybe "if the rest of the league didn't suck really badly this year" would have been better. As I see it, this is one of the ugliest seasons of football in a long time. Then again, maybe it was? The AFC teams play each other a lot more than they play NFC teams; it makes sense that their records don't tell us how they stack up against the NFC...

Then again, looking at the stats, I'm told I'm wrong. The NFC is leading 25-23 in inter-conference games... I guess it's that football sucks this year and I see lot more NFC games than I do AFC games (other than the Pats).

I stand by my one claim, though, the Cowboys will get destroyed in the Super Bowl.Mikenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794296.post-38399429224452499942007-12-02T10:33:00.000-05:002007-12-02T10:33:00.000-05:00So if you're saying they're bad and they'd be .500...So if you're saying they're bad and they'd be .500 at best that must mean those that are at .500 in the AFC are bad.

There are only 5 teams above .600 in the AFC.

Pats - Okay, this one is obvious.

Steelers - They lost to the Jets and barely beat Miami. Don't forget the loss to Arizona.

Cleveland - Enough said.

Indy - The second best team in the AFC but pretty banged up.

So where are all these great teams in the AFC? Throw out Indy and NE and what do you have? Not much, IMO and I don't think 2 teams can make the AFC that much better.Chrishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03065487719474316198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794296.post-17384682619164449412007-12-01T23:37:00.000-05:002007-12-01T23:37:00.000-05:00I'm saying Green Bay and the Giants are bad teams....I'm saying Green Bay and the Giants are bad teams. They'd be .500 at best in the AFC. The NFC sucks hard, the Cowboys are the best team in the NFC, which doesn't mean much in my book, but congrats anyway... I certainly wish it was the Skins in their place.Mikenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794296.post-69884580412001528962007-12-01T22:33:00.000-05:002007-12-01T22:33:00.000-05:00Also... I think they still have to earn it and I'm not convinced they won't be beaten before they get there.Chrishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03065487719474316198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794296.post-4673906215480448862007-12-01T22:32:00.000-05:002007-12-01T22:32:00.000-05:00Well I wouldn't say the NFC didn't have anyone els...Well I wouldn't say the NFC didn't have anyone else. I mean they did beat Green Bay and they have beat the Giants twice.

I just have this gut feeling the the Pats won't make it to the Super Bowl. I said it before they played the Eagles and definitely still feel that way. It just seems like someone will upset them in the playoffs because EVERYONE expects them to go undefeated.Chrishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03065487719474316198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7794296.post-89816852068905431652007-12-01T21:34:00.000-05:002007-12-01T21:34:00.000-05:00They're certainly not bad, but if the NFC had ANYO...They're certainly not bad, but if the NFC had ANYONE else, they wouldn't be 11-1. They will get murdered in the Super Bowl, I guarantee it.Mikenoreply@blogger.com
