I still like them but, I need a pair of backup glasses so I'll have to order another pair.
The next pair are *the* pair of sunglasses. Big and silly, and just the absolute perfect glasses for me.
Yeah, rhinestones, baby. For 84 dollars for both pairs, including shipping, and they are prescription. Don't get me wrong, I love my Mom, I just have issues with Mother's Day with the whole you know, not getting to have kids of my own, infertility crap. Needless to say I was not looking forward to Mother's Day, I had my pity party on Thursday of last week.
Saturday night I went to do groceries, and Tre came along with me. My hair?
Oh, yes, it is green.
I am still asking for your green as well. I am up to 130 dollars in donations but, that isn't enough. Every dime donated is another dime towards saving kids' lives.

Ciabatta bread, cut in half. A good quality smoked turkey. Habanero cheddar cheese. mayo. butter.
Equipment: 2 cast iron pans. I use a large round griddle and a 12 inch fry pan. another small fry pan
Throw both pans over burners, medium high heat if electric stove top, high if gas.
While that is working, butter the outside of the ciabatta. put turkey in Suzy Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16516232798296353442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784832.post-73304927163944283752008-02-14T00:39:00.002-05:002008-02-14T00:43:44.629-05:00St Baldrick's Year TwoFor those of you who have been around here for awhile, you will remember that last year I shaved my head to help raise funds to stop childhood cancers.
And, this year, I'm doing it again. On March 29th, I am shaving my head for St. Baldrick's Foundation. I am once again asking for your donations and links.
You can donate here. If you can link this from your site, this is a fantastic cause Suzy Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16516232798296353442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784832.post-72360285642773453482008-02-12T00:41:00.001-05:002008-02-12T00:49:07.270-05:00
I know I disappeared but, I have a good excuse. Presenting my adorable nephew: Eric Shawn (last name) Junior. He made his way into the world February 8th at 4:30 PM weighing 6 pounds, 4 ounces and 19.5 inches long.
My sister Katie was set for a repeat c-section on February 18th but, Shawn didn't agree with that birthday.
Big sister Kyrsie is all smiles and already a pro at holding him. Suzy Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16516232798296353442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784832.post-9717277438824605022008-02-04T16:03:00.000-05:002008-02-05T02:46:00.255-05:00Fried Chicken
Fried Chicken
1. Soak the chicken pieces in milk or buttermilk, it gives a better flavor.
2. Dry the pieces off, and cut any excess skin.
3. Season your flour. I vary it a bit depending on who all is going to be eating it. But, the basic ones are:
Pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chipotle powder, cayenne, majoram and rosemary. And that is a lot of each, you Suzy Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16516232798296353442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784832.post-30174988431807849962008-02-03T22:17:00.000-05:002008-02-05T02:48:04.031-05:00Diabetes HappensI started another blog, Diabetes Happens, in order to keep so much of the diabetes talk over there and not bore those of y'all that do not care about A1Cs or Blood Glucose levels or medication.

He got everything his heart desired. Trucks and cars, basketball hoop, Diego toys and a toy tool set with a working toy drill, that he immediately used to put a hole in the wall. In the newly patched and painted wall that is.

His fever is so high that he has sweat through his clothes, the top sheet and his blanket. I'm checking him every couple minutes as I am that worried about him. He just doesn't miss work. I wondering if it is because the satellite receiver is in the living room and it works for both televisions? or if there is some weird forcefield around here.

I need time. Time to talk to my friends, to do more housework, to get some other projects done.

I'm tired, out of recipes, so here is a cute picture of Tre on his fourth birthday. Isn't he adorable?
Note the icing on his nose, cheeks, forehead, etc. He really enjoyed the piece of cake and he is not a cake eater.

Why is it that men are so unwilling to go to the doctor no matter what? I want more time with Tony than I have, especially with us both having been sick for most of this month.
Hell, I just wish we'd win the lottery so that we could be together all the time. And take care of our families, and friends, and donate to charity, adopt a house of children, after we buy a house, of course. On a forum I read regularly we're all share pictures of our eyes, with glasses if we wear them, with no other part of our face. It's actually a fairly neat thing to do, looking at people's eyes with no other facial reference point.
So, if you have a website, throw your eyes up for all to see, and link in the comments, as I love to see others' eyes.Suzy Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16516232798296353442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784832.post-76881233491261894342008-01-25T22:57:00.001-05:002008-01-31T18:01:17.092-05:00Chocolate ValentineOne of my favorite bars, hell, my favorite bar, does a great job at this shot.
