Well we are still alive... we have been barely surviving lately... we were without power due to the high winds and tornados for a couple days and then out of town for a few more on a retreat... we are back in the office and pumping out pictures now though... stay tuned for quite a few posts this week hopefully! This Saturday we had a blast... we started up with Ms. Phyllis Tutt at the Shear Design.. I got educated being around too many women at once! The wedding was held at the Wood Avenue First Prebsyterian Church and it is beautiful... such an antique and intimate feeling location. Then the reception was just down the road at the Trotter House. So this past weekend I had the chance to shoot an incredible wedding in Kingsland, AR. I have been crazy busy this week... but I promise a preview is on its way! Then this Saturday we are back at it again here in Monticello! Lots of pics to come!!!

A few weeks back we went to Memphis and hung out at the zoo and the discover musuem.

Back at home Cooper helped me get the flower bed going for springtime... she liked her gloves and the dirt!

And a couple weeks back we got to go to the grand opening of the new MBSF building at UAM. It was so awesome... so emotional as we basically spent our college years growing up there!

Brandon & Stacey... Immanuel Baptist & Monticello Country Club, Monticello, AR

Tonight Amber and I made the trip of about 400 yards to Immanuel Baptist Church to shoot the wedding of Brandon and Stacey. The wedding setting was absolutely beautiful. It was located in the field right behind the church... which I love the field to start with... then fill it with beautiful people and you cant go wrong! The weather tested us all... but everybody persevered! Congratulations guys and God bless!

Our last few weeks....

A couple weekends back... we housed a group of girls and the girls leader... Julie Gentry... during our churches Discipleship Now weekend. Cooper had a blast with all the girls!

Then later that evening... I was ordained as a deacon at Pauline... Amber and my family were there to support us! Fred and Amber grandpa got to pray with me at the altar since they are both deacons as well...

Kasey & Amanda's engagements...

This afternoon I got to meet up with Kasey and Amanda to shoot their engagment photos here around town. I have know Kasey for a few years now and he is a great guy! A super talented musician... we were waiting on the sun to set and I asked him if he had heard a new Chris Tomlin song... we both agreed it was great... so I asked him to play it. He started in and about halfway through the first verse I noticed he missed a beat... I thought... im not sure I have ever heard him miss! Then after finishing a bit of the song... he says to me... I have never tried to play that before!!! wow! Im impressed... i hope you both are equally impressed with your photos! I hate I cant shoot the wedding! God bless guys!

Lindsey and Jimmy celebrated their wedding in the amazing chapel at the University of the Ozarks... it was absolutely beautiful. Soo Amber and I are not lost or dissappeared! We have just been enjoying a rare couple weeks off! I usually lay low if no weddings are happening. I have had a couple bridal sessions over the past couple weeks that have rocked my socks! I wish I could share them with ya! The big event though that has happened since new years is Cooper got her first haircut! Although it was just a small amount... it was a big event! Also Cooper and I took a stroll through the neighborhood today on our respectable rides... we were very careful I promise! Amber was close behind too to keep us safe! Everyone have a great week! So i was so excited about the gallery voting last nigh oI posted it with no explanation! I have had the same portraits in my studio for the last 2.5 years and thought it was time for an update! I have 5 16x20's hanging and want to let everyone help me out in choosing what to pick! I tirelessly narrowed it down to about 30... and I'm sure I missedmy favorite in the process... there is notelling how many photos I thumbed through... probably about 75,000 or so... so I'm sure I missed a few of my faves... but this will work!
