Digit Darkes Fall 2009 Session 1 Released

The new Fall 2009 release from Digit Darkes brings with it structure, glamour, and a bit of avant garde. Black and white is the color of choice for the main pieces, with the Structure and Rue D'Digit lines released in rich colors. Each of the gowns' prim skirts are resizable using a menu, just "click" and you can resize it to fit your shape! Accessories include color-change gems, metal, and leather at the touch of a menu as well.

Up first:

Plumes del La Reine in Black and White a show-stopping black and white gown embellished with black ostrich plumes attached to the dress top with gemstone embellished broaches attached by a dangling chain loop. The skirt includes soft multi textured layers that flow over the double slit skirt openings on each side. The broach embellishment can be color changed to have two different gemstone colors as well as the metal settings and chain loop.
All of the prim embellishments are resizable and the gemstone is color/texture change via touch script menu. The gemstones can be textured in 36 different color textures and the chains can be changed to gold, light silver, dark silver, copper, bronze and black metal.

Rue d'Digitis a super short micro mini dress with a lot of attitude! This little houndstooth dress is a head-turner with the one sculpted satin sleeve and a mid-drift cutout that wraps around to the back. The new 5th Avenue Sculpted Mini Dress by Digit Darkes has just been released and comes in 18 prints and color variations. YES--18!!!! With each dress is a pre-installed AO with custom animations including three walks, three animated standing poses, a sit, and a ground sit. A color chart and a comprehensive information card that will answer all questions are also included. The belt, belt buckle and corset are all "touch activated" texture/color change, and the skirt is re-sizable too. The belt comes with 21 color selections, and the belt buckle has five metalic choices including gold, silver, copper, bronze and black. The corset has 15 color selections. NEWNESS! THE CARSON DRESS

Introducing my latest release just in time for August end-of-summer parties, the Carson Dress! The Carson is a short party dress with my hand drawn graphic plaid fabric pattern on the top and bottom. The bodice, with its textured shadows and folds, has a trim in a band of solid color at the top and lies beneath a corset, all encircled with a stylish belt and buckle just above the waist. The belt is scripted for 12 gorgeous color selections, the corset for 8 color selections in a more muted palette, and the buckle for 5 metallics which include gold, silver, bronze, copper and black. The short patterned skirt is topped with a profusion of polka dot tulle that begs to be looked at! This is a versatile outfit that can also be worn as a top with a mini, or a top with shorts. The rhinestones have two color changing positions and each can be colored in 36 different colors!

Just released this week by Digit Darkes is the Starlight Dress, a lovely summer gown in six fantastic colors. The strapless bodice is designed with vertical strands of sequins spilling down the front, topped by an airy shoulder poof of sequined tulle that flows down the back. The 166-prim tulle skirt with the repeated sequins has just enough sheerness to show the layers, and is split at the left. The Starlight in Black will be a knockout at any event! DIGIT DARKES INTRODUCES CYBER FASHION AT SL6B

Digit Darkes opened her Cyberfashionista exhibit this week on SL6B Portal, Cyberfashionista depicting virtual fashion of the future. The SL6B celebrations opened June 23 on twenty sims celebrating a half decade of a virtual world built around the theme "The Future of Virtual Worlds." Digit's display is extraordinary and so unlike the Digit Darkes designs we are familiar with, and is an introduction to a new couture collection we will soon see in her store. The build features a moving futuristic gear shaft and gears with rotating neon green particle-spewing test tubes suspended by couture chains to the top gear, all in bold glowing colors of greens, blues and purples. A screen located on the top of the glass geometric building housing the freebies displays a futuristic fashion film made by Digit that is totally worth viewing. On Friday evening Digit hosted a group event and German resident and Timeless Agency CEO SerinaJane Loon and her models danced in the rotating test tubes presenting a special fashion show on the circuit board catwalk below. It was a sim crashing event! Fabulous furturistic limited edition freebies from Digit include a "must have" UNDRESS Cyborg Skin and two NATURALe hairs. The NATURALe Messenger in black is a solid black glitter-free hair with blue tinted eyewear. If you liked the NATURALe Defiance, you'll love the NATURALe Cyberfashionista in Platinum with black! Both are limited edition free hairs with scripted resizers and not available in the store packs. Italian designer and Baiastice owner Sissy Pessoa joined Digit in designing the freebies and has one hair which is "so Pessoa" and litterally "out of this world!" DELHI HEEL AT DIGIT DARKES

The new Delhi Heel, the companion heel to the Delhi Dress, was introduced on Monday. This is the third of the heels with sculpted feet and toes from Digit Darkes, and the second shoe in the Summer 2009 Collection. The fully customizable and refined Delhi Heel features a Satin rather than traditional leather texture, to give it a more dressy look. There are thirteen color selections to match not just the Delhi Dresses, but your entire virtual wardrobe! The heel is decorated with six gemstones on a metal chain running down the vamp from the ankle strap to the toe strap, plus one on the ankle strap buckle. On each buckle attached by a link there is a tiny "DD" logo, another Digit Darkes couture detail. For the gemstones there are three different color positions, with the same 44 selections as the dress gem necklace. Gold, Silver and Black are the chain selections. Digit has added more platform colors giving us Black, Blonde, Choco and Mocha. The underside of the shoe is black with a decorative metallic logo and heel tap, that change with the metal selection. For a complete finished look there are eighteen manicure/pedicure nail colors to coordinate with every outfit. Like the Delhi Dress, this heel has an extremely user-friendly touch menu for the platform, satin, nails, metal and the three gemstone position choices. The summer season has just arrived and the first dress released from the Summer 2009 Collection of Digit Darkes is the Delhi Dress, an incredibly gorgeous long dress which early sales indicate to be an instant hit with Fashionistas. The dress itself is beautifully designed with soft fabric drapes on the long-waisted bodice, and features a low cut back and a neckline that plunges to below the belly button. The gem neckline of the Delhi is a scripted jeweled chain with 15 jewels in various shapes and sizes, in three different color positions. The chain choices are a simple gold, silver and black. However, there are forty-four different gem stone selections with a palette of soft aquas and greens to pinks and ambers to deep berrry colors, and a variety of textures with names like Cyber, Spring, Fire, Jekel and Lava, offering an almost unlimited number of color combinations. The 115-prim skirt has a designer's slit on the left side and tiers of fabric layers in the skirt that float softly around the legs with each step. The dress itself is offered in Black, Jade, Magenta, Mustard, Nile and White. Each dress has ten skirt color options that blend into the bottom portion of the skirt, except for the Delhi Black and Delhi White which have only nine selections. The skirt color choices include Plain, Candy, Fruit, Lotus, Night, Nile, Reef, Sea, Sunshine, and White. All color options on the dress are touch menu-activated and very user friendly. Released this week is the new scripted Dolce Heel by Digit Darkes. This is the third and latest heel Digit has released this year with sculpted feet, and by far the best in many ways. The menu-driven Dolce is fully customizable with endless color and texture combinations for the platform, leather, flower, rhinestones, skin and nails. The most basic menu choice is for the platform which comes in black, blonde and mocha. For the leather there are 12 choices from Black to Candy to Breeze. The offset flower on the toe has 12 tint selections with names like Mustard, Cherry, Mink, Candy and Seafoam; PLUS 21 solids and patterns including Swirl, Tulip, SequinGold, SequinMink AND tintable textures in Plaid and Check and others. Add to that 18 different rhinestone color selections including Silver, Scotch, Candy, Coral, Mustard, Red, Wine, etc. and the color combinations are infinite. Just as in the Desire Heel there are 11 predefined skin tones, and now there is a color tinting HUD so that matching your skin can be an exact match to any skin tone. Introduced this spring at Digit Darkes as part of the Spring 2009 Collection, were the Sling Dresses, a dressy-casual style event dress. The “teddy” style top with the bra back features soft folds at the plunging neckline making it a great selection for the upcoming summer season. The asymmetrical gathered flexi skirt open at the left is topped by sculpted tiers pulled together at the hip with a “flore” decoration and two long ribbons. Designer detail was given both to the underside of the skirt and the tiered material with bands of sequins and fabric textures against lighter and darker dress tones, a couture earmark of Digit’s fashions. SIREN GOWN FROM CLOTHING FAIR 2009

"You will come first of all to the Sirens, who are enchanters of all mankind and whoever comes their way…,” Circe tells Odysseus in Homer’s Odyssey. The name of Digit’s recently released gown, the Siren Dress, was inspired while watching “Oh Brother Where Art Thou” with George Clooney, which parallels the famous classic epic. With its plunging diagonal neckline and split skirt, attached at the hip by a single silver clasp, this gown in Midnight black will be the envy of all the other ladies at parties and formal events alike. The bodice of the gown, which sweeps to the left along with the neckline, is paved with rows of Midnight sequins to the tiny belted waistline, joining a flowing floor-length flexi skirt which “kicks-up” with each stride revealing a tiny bit of white at the hemline. This gown is not only eloquent, but also tastefully seductive in its design. Opps, she did it again! Another NEW pair of heels with sculptilicious feet named the Desire Heel. You will love, love, love it! This heel is customizable with metal studs, rivets and distressed leather, and sit on a super sleek platform base defining all your needs for stylish, sexy and hot! Rawrrrrrr!

And soooooo many choices including TINTABLE skin!!!!! First selection I looked at was for the nails, and there were 18!!! Names like Prom Night, Venus, Mars, Cloud and Arm Candy left me trying on all the colors at least once before deciding on a haute red one named Frenzy. Rivets come in Black, Gold, Silver or Copper. Then there are buckle choices of Gold, Silver or Copper. By this time I decided to hop on the nearest pose stand and finish the choices menu, lol. Leather choices gave me a little rest with selecting either Black or Brown. Heel choices include Blonde Wood, Choco Wood or Black Wood. NEW LOTUS HEEL WITH SCULPTED FEET!

About two weeks ago I decided I would make new shoes, so I worked for days on end trying to make a pair of sandals fit on the HORRIBLE boat-shaped thing SL calls a foot. After a week of wasting time, I finally decided to just go ahead and finish my foot and toes even though I barely know how to make sculpties at all. Sooooo two weeks of 16 hour days everyday, I finally got the result that someone with major nitpicking issues, like myself, would consider release worthy.

Its true though, I could probably nitpick them for another two weeks, but that would just be insane...LOL!
