I have many favorites... and they change over time.... today I picked some of the birthday favs for kids invites.....
The first invite features a little character I named Chiclette. She's so sweet and perfect and was inspired from vintage folk art... She is lovely in her peaches, pinks and ivory and is as delicate as she looks!
My next fav is Rex! He is just that, Rex! All little boys love a dinosaur and he's simple and cute as a button in blues and a touch of green! My little boy, Jonty loves Rex and insists he's on his personal stationery! He's 6... I wonder when he's going to outgrow Rex? Boo hoo....
Next is SweetBooties! I giggled as I do when I paint something as delicious as these! And guess what? I am featuring actual booties in my new sewing book... I call them MJ Booties (ah, that would be Mary Jane Booties)... They come lined in one of my favorite curly florals... and if you look carefully, those same curly leaves adorn the booties!
Finally, for today's picks is, yip, UNICYCLE BUNNY! Look at his eyes.... he's just too yummy for words! I do delight in his expression and yes, again I def laughed outloud when I held him up for review! He had so much motion in him we needed to wobble around on his envelope liner... as he does so well.

Custom Colors

We are asked all of the time to change the color of one of our designs, and for a nominal fee we can do so. Here's an example of what we can do. The original design is called 'lilac floral' and someone loved the design but wanted a bright pink... so here's what we did for a customer for a store 'O'GOSH' in Corpus Christi, Texas.. The lilac version was a 4 panel wedding program for a customer from a store, YOU'RE INVITED in San Antonio, Texas... Dramatically different don't you think?

13th Birthday Celebration

Ohhh, I walked by the stationery work island where Renee was putting the finishing touches to a package going out today... It was so delightful I had to share it with you.... A lovely 13th birthday celebration is such a special celebration when a little girl becomes a woman. So here it is the perfect invite, with wrap and bow, an enclosure card for the treat bag and a thank you for the celebrating little woman...

Bridal Suite Pink Leis

We couldn't resist sharing this perfect pink and chocolate brown wedding ensemble. Jessica and Brendan liked our layout with their initials beginning the whole invitation. Their invite includes a matching Cid Pear signature invite 'wrap' with that perfectly hand-dyed silk ribbon. Naturally their return address is printed on the A8 envelope.
A plain outer envelope A9 is also available but Jessica and Brandan chose not to go too formal. A save the date card is not shown here but is also available. Their invite went to their guests with the matching response card and envelope. And a directions card which is perfectly beautiful with its matching pink leis art. Bottom right Jessica and Brendan's thank you note...

Our Pick of the week! This is a fabulous birthday celebration stationery suite we did this week. Little guy is turning 2 and momma picked out his blue tractor invite, thank you note and gift enclosures.... Just a sweet example for boys... who are difficult to find for!

Paper Butterflies

We have bagged scraps ready to go... Use them for special paper projects like this one. Paper butterflies are beautiful and lovely hanging in your daughters room. Or your creative space for that matter. They're easy to do. Just download the template and instructions HERE.
We used 'pink berries' bits of pages from an old novel (recycle people)... and ribbons. You could make them with any decorative paper you find. Let us know how they turned out.
