I was checking out the buy.com website and they have a pretty good selection of micro sd cards. Their prices are pretty good as well. Technology is always changing and I am starting to notice that more and more products now require these types of cards. Some of these products include cameras, camcorders, picture frames and more. It's the sign of the times focus we must make sure that we keep up with technology. The good thing is that the prices are some times low with this stuff. The bad thing is it seems like as soon as something new comes out and ever one buys it something else comes out months later that's even better.

If you ever thought about going into business there are many businesses you can check into. You can even check into a franchise opportunity, there are many franchise opportunities out there. What is great about owning a franchise is that more then likely the company is already well established so they will have a name you will recognize. There are also drawbacks with this as well. The number one way to know if a business is right for you is to check out the company talk to other franchise owners, see what is required to own one, find out how long will it take you to make a profit, what are the expenses and so on. All businesses take work to run and to make it successful you just need to have the patience.

Memory

I mentioned the other day that I was going to upgrade my computer. I am still in the market for memory cards. I have still yet to decide how much I want to get. I want to make sure I get what I need, but at the same time I want to make sure I get it at a good price. So I have been searching for a good source for all of the computer parts I will need. I upgraded already to a bigger monitor, so at least I got that done. But I still have a long list of things I need to do to the computer. My search continues today for computer parts, I will keep you all updated.

Beware of Dog Signs

I just got in the mail a cool dog sign it says dogs in the yard. It warns people that I do have dogs on my property. This company sells a variety of beware of dog signs. The sign that I received is pictured above. I have not put my up yet as I am waiting to have a fence installed before I put it up.

The original pet postings comes in a these colors chocolate brown, grass green and cobalt blue. I got the colbalt blue one to match with my house. They will provide the mounting hardware your choice of brass screws or cable ties. They Ship really fast and the cool thing about it is that they will ship it to you before you pay. The down side they don't accept credit cards. But they do have a Good Karma Policy, a first I have never seen a company offer one. How does their policy work, that's easy you order the sign through their website they will ship the item to you with an invoice and then you send them a check after you have received the product. They ship for free and as I mentioned they ship fast so they do expect you to send your check fast as well.

I was just writing about some article I read on how more people are entering drug rehab more now then ever. The article stated that the reason why people where doing more drugs now and entering drub rehab was because they are losing there homes, jobs etc... I stated in my post that I could not understand how these people could not afford to pay for anything, but they can buy drugs. What do you think about this? Why do you feel people are entering drug rehab more now then ever?

I am in the process of upgrading my computer. I have decided to do it myself. One thing I am looking into is my computers ram. Ram stands for Random Access Memory, right now I am looking into how much my computer has now and how much more do I want. I do a lot of website designing and graphic designing, so besides upgrading the ram, I will also be updating other parts of my computer to get it where I need it to be to get the most out of it. Now some people say well buy a new computer, and that is true to some degree. If you are thinking about doing the same take this into account. How much will it cost you to upgrade your computer. Will it be cheaper then buying a new one? What do you want to use your computer for? Can you upgrade it yourself or would you need to take it into a shop so they can do it for you. How long do you plan on keeping your current computer, and of course what is your budget. If you look in to these things you will clearly see what is right for you.

I was told about a website today called Logo Yes. This website allows you to design your own logo and you can also design a business card as well. So I went to the website to try it out. I must say it was very easy to use. If you are not sure about the image you need to use for your logo or what brand would be good to identify your business Logo Yes offers a free image calculator. The calculator ask you a few simple questions and it will give you some suggestions on the image that may be right for your business. They offer a ton of logos that you can choose from, these logos can be picked from a variety of industries.

What is great about the logo design process is that it took less then 5 minutes to create. Just choose the image add your name and an optional second line, create your layout, choose your colors and your done. They will even show you what it would look like on a business card, and once you see the business card you have the option of adding business cards to your order. If you choose to add business cards to your order, you can pick from a variety of business card layouts. Just take a look at the card I designed above, I must say I really do like it.

If you have kids and they have not tried Yoplait Yogurts they are missing out. My kids have tried the new Yoplait Kids Yogurt which features the cartoon The Backyardigans on the package. The kind you drink and it has 25% less sugar then the average kids yogurts. They were in love with the banana flavor, they stated it was really creamy and yummy. I also tried it and I must say it was pretty good. They also ate the Yoplait Kids in the cup, this one had Dora on the package, the flavors were also very good as well. The really enjoyed eating them. And that says a lot since I have very picky kids.

What I like about this yogurt is that it contains DHA with supports brain growth and development, its also a great source of calcium and vitamins. There is only 70 calories per bottle. Do you know what digital signage is? I certainly didn't but I learned what it is when I was talking to a friend of mine that was thinking about opening up a sports bar. He explained it to me, and told me he wanted to have one out in the window of the bar. It's a Point-of-purchase or point-of-sale merchandising display. Basically it's those signs that you have seen that have messages that scroll across a screen. You see these signs all over the place like airports, restaurants, hotels, stores, hospitals and other places. I had no idea that they called them digital signage. I really starting to get excited my mom and dad are planning to move right next door to me sometime next year. They are in the process of having their house made. So with that being said they are going to need some new items for their new home. I was looking for some bedding for their master bedroom. I came across a website called Bed In A Box, this company sells memory foam mattresses, adjustable beds, rugs, platform bed and other bedroom items. I heard that memory foam beds are very comfortable, I have never had a memory foam bed, but I have had the foam that you put on top of a bed to make it more comfortable. I am curious to try out one of these bed to see if in fact they are as comfortable as they look. As you all know I have been saying for some time now that I am dying to have a vacation with my family. There is so many places I want to see, but with everything going up in price especially gas I am not sure if I will be able to go anywhere. But I am a determined person, so I have been searching the net for the best vacation deals. I am still not sure about what deals are best right now. But one thing I know for sure I want to visit Myrtle Beach in South Carolina before this year is over. More then likely I will drive there as I believe it's about a 2-3 hour drive from my home. Car Insurance

I found out the other day that not all of the 50 states require car insurance. I found that to be very weird as what would you do if you got into an accident with an uninsured motorist. So I went and looked it up on the net. I found that while not all of the 50 states require you to have car insurance they do require you to show financial responsibility to operate a vehicle on the roadway. In order to show this you need to have some sort of bond. Upon further research I read that Wisconsin and New Hampshire don't require liability insurance. There was some talk about New Hampshire they were going to issue mandatory liability insurance. I just don't see how any state can let drivers drive around with no insurance, maybe it's just me but with all of these accidents I would expect that they would make you have insurance.

Hilton Head Island

Once place I am dying to visit is Hilton Head Island, which is located in South Carolina. It is the second largest barrier island on the East Coast. The overall length of the Island is about 12 miles and the widest point is approximately 5 miles. I was checking out the Hilton Head rental places to see what is the going rate for a room that would fit my big family. We have six in all, so with 4 kids and 2 adults we need a lot of room. The really have some beautiful houses that you can rent for a week or more. I am definitely going to find out away to make my next vacation there.

Do you like contests? Do you look all over web searching for contests to enter. Would you like to be the winner of any online contests? I know the answer to my last question would be a yes. Did you know that there are walk in bathtubs? Have you ever seen a walk in bathtub? These bath tubs have a door and you just walk right into the tub instead of stepping over the rim to get in to the tub. They say these tubs are good for seniors or people who have problems stepping in to a tub. The tubs are not the same as your regular tub you have at home as they range in size from 51"x 26" to 60"x 32" I believe you can add an extension to them.
