I have just not had time for scrapping! Hopefully that's not a sign of what's to come this summer!

Getting my oldest boy ready for camp -- he's leaving early Sunday morning for Glider Camp in Nova Scotia. He'll be gone for 6 weeks!! What will we ever do without him ;-) I'm sure he'll have fun and will certainly learn a lot!

I've also got 3 cakes to do this weekend -- have to fit them in somewhere :-)

This photo was taken in May of this year. I took the kids on a hike. I just love that they still want to spend time with their mother :-) and they let her take pictures of them. LOL!

A friend and I organized another scrap weekend last week. I got quite a few layouts done. Most were for the online crop going on at Lovebug Scrapbooking.

This one was our Sisterhood Challenge for June 8th. We were to scrap about a fond memory. This was the dedication of my oldest son. I used a photo of us with Devin' parents and grandparents. The other picture is of one of Devin's childhood buddies. He actually had his son dedicated on the same day as we did.

It's okay to scraplift :-) Here's a challenge that Susan added on Your Memories By Design (YMBD). Apparently it's a weekly thing, so I'll have to remember to check again next Saturday.

I used Basic Grey Marrakech for my layout. It's a bit plain and I think it still needs "something", just not sure what right now. LOL!

Last weekend I attended another all-day crop. Very productive one, I might add. It really makes a difference when "I'm" not the one organizing things :-) It was a great day, lots of wonderful friends, great scrapping and yummy food!

Did you take part in any National Scrapbooking Day activities?? A friend and I organized a small crop here in our hometown. I got 5 layouts completed, so I was happy :-)

Used the new Crate Paper for this one. Love the little space aliens :-)

Basic Grey Lime Rickey LOVE this , too! Great for pool or beach layouts!

Challenge #9 Sisterhood of Scrap "Sock Hop"

My challenge today has to do with vinyl records -- those big, round black things that my kids wonder so much about :-) Listening to their music now on tiny iPods, who can blame them. LOL!

Records were usually 12 inches in size with the singles being 7 inches in size. Did you know that Elvis Presley sold the most records? -- over one billion record units sold worldwide!

So, here's your challenge:

~ Use either a 12-inch circle OR a 7-inch circle on your layout

~ Have the color black somewhere on your page

~ In honor of Elvis, include lots of BLING!

If you use one of these Top 20 Pop Billboard singles in your title, I'll add your name an extra time for the prize draw!

Challenge #6 Sisterhood of Scrap "Sock Hop"

What is a Sock Hop?? It's a dance that became popular during the 1950's. These dances were often in school gyms and to keep from marking up the floors, dancers would remove their shoes and dance in their socks. Socks also made it easier for dancers to twist and slide!

My challenge for today has to do with the color white -- the color of socks :-) CREATE a layout using all white! Your photo(s) can be color or black/white.

Here's a layout I created a few weeks ago using all white papers and embellishments. I thought it would be tough but it turned out to be one of my favorite layouts.
(Thanks to a DT member on Scrap My Memories for the idea for this challenge)

Luke and Timothy went on a short hike behind our house. I kindof cringe when I hand the camera to them, but they always bring back some great pictures -- and they haven't dropped it yet!

This is my layout for Candace's "Rock Around the Clock" challenge. When I listened to the song "Lollipop, Lollipop", I knew I had the perfect pictures for a layout! I even used "Lollipop Shoppe" papers, by Basic Grey :-)

I've been so busy spring-cleaning :-) It's a big house! Working on the kitchen today.

Anyway, I wanted to say I am stopping with posting my "365 Photos" project. I am still taking pictures, I just will be posting them on my Facebook instead. I'll keep my blog for more scrappy things.

I bought some Webster's Pages papers with my last order from Scrap My Memories. May just have to get some more! I used a mixture of product for this layout. I think the green check was something I had when I started WAY back when!

I used a PageMaps sketch for this layout and some of the wonderful Basic Grey Marrakech!

I used some Imaginisce TWITTERPATED for this layout -- love the look of this paper! I cut the trees from some patterned paper and added an adorable foxy rubon :-)

See it again in this layout. Did a little paper piecing -- it's been a while since I used that technique! See my challenge at Lovebug Scrapbooking.

For this layout I used Scrap My Memories April kit. Photos of two of my sons getting baptised. This layout is for our Sisterhood of Scrap challenge this week -- check it out!
