Buying Cloth Diapers from China

I took the risk of buying another 10 sets of Cloth Diapers from China. The risk was, the transaction was done outside eBay. It was much cheaper buying direct because according to the seller, eBay charges high transaction fee and he can only give the price I requested if we deal direct.

This seller has lots of good feedback in eBay so I close both eyes and send him the money through Paypal. That was on Sunday, the next day, he sent me picture of the Cloth Diapers that I bought and then the wrapped package with the EMS slip on it with my address written on it. He gave me the tracking code too and the EMS website for me to check the status of the delivery.

My package left Beijing only on the 2nd (Thursday) and I received it yesterday, 7th. They take flight or ship arh???

Anyway, I was so relief to receive the Cloth Diapers. =)

Sent an email to inform the seller and bargain the price lower for another 10pcs or more. He agreed. =D Now I got to wait for my orders.

So when sending money to me, PLEASE send through Personal Payments. It is so hard to earn from online now and Paypal is making it harder if you choose the wrong option.

Jobless for A Year

Today, I am officially jobless for a year! I resigned last year and my last day of work was on the 30th of June 2008.

So, how is it being jobless?

Well, it did not turn out as planned. I had many scary moments when I thought I might not have sufficient income for a particular month but God came in at the very last minute to save the day. :D

Do I regret it?

I did not regret resigning from the company. But I do feel a lil bit regret not earning a fix income and have to control myself from spending like before. I might return to the working world after my son is 2 years old to help hubby support the family.

I am so used to being the breadwinner and when I am not, I felt so restless!

Flat Tummy

Hubby has been wrapping himself to work almost everyday now because he wants a flat tummy just like his wife. LOL. He is using my tummy trimmer band which I can't use anymore because it is too big for me now. Yup! I am much slimmer than before.

My secret is...no appetite throughout my pregnancy except on the last month and breastfeeding my baby. To those who can't get pregnant and no boobs with milk to breastfeed then you have to resort to diet pill. :P

A Holiday with a Peace of Mind

I was so relieved that the advertiser that I am working for finally paid me after more than a month of delay. Now I can go for my family vacation in peace. It is no fun going for a vacation without cash in hand. If I have not purchased the flight ticket, I think I would cancel the vacation.

And continue saving until I can afford to go for a vacation to places like Riviera Maya and stay in Azul Beach Hotel Resort that offers families a new way to vacation. Parents are pampered with adult-sized indulgences as well as extras like strollers, cribs, baby milk heaters, beach games, coloring books, refrigerators for milk and medicines, and even kid-sized bathrobes.

Come to think of it, it is quite pathetic knowing that 2 graduates live life every day hoping that they would earn enough to pay the bills.

Since this is the path we chose, we must stop complaining. Or I must stop whining. hehehe.

I must stop thinking whether this office or that office has a vacancy for me. It will not be until my youngest is 2yo before I can start earning my own fix income again.

Abstaining From Spending

It sucks when you don't have money to spend. I have been trying very very hard not to spend at all. So many things I want to buy but I can't afford it. I don't know whether this month hubby will have enough income to pay all the bills or not. All this while, I settle the bills but this month I have to depend on hubby's income because I don't get much paid post to write and the advertiser that I am working with is still not paying me. I gave up hope in asking him whether he will pay or not.

As it is, I am praying hard that God will bless the business this month and the months after so that we will have enough to pay for our monthly expenses. And extra for me to spend to cook or bake something special from time to time.

Costume Jewerly

If I have the money, I would like to collect costume jewelry for my girls. Being a girl they just love jewelry and to look pretty wearing them.

As it is, they are eyeing my youngest sister's jewelry that she left behind in her room at my parent's house. Since I have a hole in my ears, I have to become their model, modeling my sister earrings collection. Other type of costume jewelry, they put on on themselves.

I was just checking out Holsted Jewelers. My hands are itchy now to buy their collection of earrings, they are so beautiful!

Eating More Durians than Before

The durian season is here and this year I am blessed with good appetite for durians. I did not vomit or gag when I eat them like previous years. I can even eat one whole durian around 8-9 pieces without feeling pukey. If it not because it made me real full, I think I can wallop more.

I think I read somewhere that eating durian can be very fattening. I better standby some fat burners just in case breastfeeding does not help to burn the calories from eating durian.

I have always wanted to play the piano. However, growing up in a middle income family, I don't have the luxury of attending any piano classes. When I was in campus, I got the chance to learn piano for free but it was short lived. It is either the teacher was busy with assignment or the student is busy with projects; so we ended up canceling the piano class.

Not Selling Coolababy Cloth Diapers

The reason I decided not to sell the Coolababy Cloth Diapers is not because they are not good. I started to like it and even using it when I need to go out for longer period. It keeps my baby dry for 6 hours with 2 inserts. And it is breathable. How I know? Because I can feel the outer layer a lil bit moist after baby PU.

I am not selling it because 5 pieces is not enough for my baby. I need 2 for overnight use; 6 hourly and 2 for day use. That is only 4 BUT during rainy day, they did not dry on time and I need another 4 pieces. So 5 is not enough.

So, I am using all 7 pieces of Coolababy Cloth Diapers and 2 Bumwear that my friend gave me. I am so tempted to buy more but now is not the time for me to spend; really tight financially. =(

RM6 Birthday Cake

This is how I only spent RM6 for the above birthday cake for my 3yo son.

I bought a butter cake from a cake shop that cost only RM6. Then I used the left over buttercream icing from last week birthday party to decorate it. And the candles, you can get it free from the cake shop when you purchased the butter cake.

And I got a happy birthday boy. Hey, all a kid wants is candles to blow and cake to "chop". And the best part is, my birthday boy get to decorate his own birthday cake. =D

Ways To Earn Money

This month, my income is not looking good. My mind kept thinking of others ways to earn money.

Cupcakes - I am not creative enough to decorate cupcakes and I don't think Malaccan willing to spend like KL people do.

Go back to the corporate world - Who is going to take care of my children? Who is going to send them to school and fetch them home? Who is going to guide them doing their homework? Hire a van to fetch them? Send them to nursery? Send them to after school care? With 4 kids, all the money I earn from working will be used there. Might as well I don't work and mind them myself. :P

Blogging for Adsense - It takes a lot of time researching and writing which I don't have much anymore with a demanding baby.

Babysitting - I am seriously thinking of this option but not now. Maybe after my youngest is 1yo when he can walk and play with others.

Giving Tuition - I don't think I have the patience to teach. :P

So for the time being, I will live with the minimal that I have and continue to praise God for His blessings. :)

Eating and Feasting

The school holiday is almost over. Can't wait for the to start schooling again and I can go back to my normal routine. In times like this I like routines.

Eating Spree is going to end soon. I am sure most of us have been eating and feasting throughout this school holiday. There will be wedding dinner, housewarming party, birthday party, fullmoon party, blogger gathering etc.

One More Birthday Party To Go

We had a combine birthday celebration last Sunday to celebrate all the June babies in my family; my son is one of them. We had fun baking cake and cupcakes and the best part was decorating them. =)

This Saturday, we are attending another birthday party of a twins; Chinnee's Bumbo Boys. I am sure there will be lots of good food and cakes. And I thank God that I am fully breastfeeding my baby. :P

Forgetful Caterer

We had Housewarming Party on Saturday; eldest BIL's shifted to a new double storey cornet house. Food was delayed and insufficient. The caterer forgotten about it even though he was reminded about it the day before. It seems that this is not the first time he forgets! How to do business if you are so forgetful???

Anyway, thank God that the food was insufficient, if not we will surely eat till we drop and hunt for diet pills the day after! LOL.

During my pregnancy, I often ate Bak Kut Teh. So when I was at the foodcourt yesterday, I ordered Bak Kut Teh. Unfortunately, my order did not arrive!

I doubt he can forget my order because I saw him wrote my order in his order list. Maybe he missed it. That is the disadvantage dining in a famous foodcourt. They received so many orders and it is a one man show. He cooks and he delivers.

I can go re-order but surely I have to wait again which my growling tummy won't be allowing it so we ordered Wantan Mee which is fast to cook and fast to eat.
