Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by previous exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. Its most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity), the heart,[1] the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart) or tunica vaginalis.

Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos dust and fiber in other ways. Washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos can also put a person at risk for developing mesothelioma. Unlike lung cancer, there is no association between mesothelioma and smoking. Compensation via asbestos funds or lawsuits is an important issue in mesothelioma (see asbestos and the law).

The symptoms of mesothelioma include shortness of breath due to pleural effusion (fluid between the lung and the chest wall) or chest wall pain, and general symptoms such as weight loss. The diagnosis may be suspected with chest X-ray and CT scan, and is confirmed with a biopsy (tissue sample) and microscopic examination. A thoracoscopy (inserting a tube with a camera into the chest) can be used to take biopsies. It allows the introduction of substances such as talc to obliterate the pleural space (called pleurodesis), which prevents more fluid from accumulating and pressing on the lung. Despite treatment with chemotherapy, radiation therapy or sometimes surgery, the disease carries a poor prognosis. Research about screening tests for the early detection of mesothelioma is ongoing.

Signs and symptoms

Symptoms of mesothelioma may not appear until 20 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos. Shortness of breath, cough, and pain in the chest due to an accumulation of fluid in the pleural space are often symptoms of pleural mesothelioma.

Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma include weight loss and cachexia, abdominal swelling and pain due to ascites (a buildup of fluid in the abdominal cavity). Other symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma may include bowel obstruction, blood clotting abnormalities, anemia, and fever. If the cancer has spread beyond the mesothelium to other parts of the body, symptoms may include pain, trouble swallowing, or swelling of the neck or face.

These symptoms may be caused by mesothelioma or by other, less serious conditions.

Mesothelioma that affects the pleura can cause these signs and symptoms:

* chest wall pain
* pleural effusion, or fluid surrounding the lung
* shortness of breath
* fatigue or anemia
* wheezing, hoarseness, or cough
* blood in the sputum (fluid) coughed up (hemoptysis)

In severe cases, the person may have many tumor masses. The individual may develop a pneumothorax, or collapse of the lung. The disease may metastasize, or spread, to other parts of the body.

Tumors that affect the abdominal cavity often do not cause symptoms until they are at a late stage. Symptoms include:

* abdominal pain
* ascites, or an abnormal buildup of fluid in the abdomen
* a mass in the abdomen
* problems with bowel function
* weight loss

In severe cases of the disease, the following signs and symptoms may be present:

* blood clots in the veins, which may cause thrombophlebitis
* disseminated intravascular coagulation, a disorder causing severe bleeding in many body organs
* jaundice, or yellowing of the eyes and skin
* low blood sugar level
* pleural effusion
* pulmonary emboli, or blood clots in the arteries of the lungs
* severe ascites

A mesothelioma does not usually spread to the bone, brain, or adrenal glands. Pleural tumors are usually found only on one side of the lungs.

Diagnosis

Diagnosing mesothelioma is often difficult, because the symptoms are similar to those of a number of other conditions. Diagnosis begins with a review of the patient's medical history. A history of exposure to asbestos may increase clinical suspicion for mesothelioma. A physical examination is performed, followed by chest X-ray and often lung function tests. The X-ray may reveal pleural thickening commonly seen after asbestos exposure and increases suspicion of mesothelioma. A CT (or CAT) scan or an MRI is usually performed. If a large amount of fluid is present, abnormal cells may be detected by cytology if this fluid is aspirated with a syringe. For pleural fluid this is done by a pleural tap or chest drain, in ascites with an paracentesis or ascitic drain and in a pericardial effusion with pericardiocentesis. While absence of malignant cells on cytology does not completely exclude mesothelioma, it makes it much more unlikely, especially if an alternative diagnosis can be made (e.g. tuberculosis, heart failure).

If cytology is positive or a plaque is regarded as suspicious, a biopsy is needed to confirm a diagnosis of mesothelioma. A doctor removes a sample of tissue for examination under a microscope by a pathologist. A biopsy may be done in different ways, depending on where the abnormal area is located. If the cancer is in the chest, the doctor may perform a thoracoscopy. In this procedure, the doctor makes a small cut through the chest wall and puts a thin, lighted tube called a thoracoscope into the chest between two ribs. Thoracoscopy allows the doctor to look inside the chest and obtain tissue samples.

If the cancer is in the abdomen, the doctor may perform a laparoscopy. To obtain tissue for examination, the doctor makes a small incision in the abdomen and inserts a special instrument into the abdominal cavity. If these procedures do not yield enough tissue, more extensive diagnostic surgery may be necessary.

3. Do not submit multiple addresses for the same site. Simply submit your main page and leave it at that.

4. Do not use gateway pages. Search engines are starting to look down on these. Some people use them as a hidden-type of optimization where they submit a gateway page to the search engine that has been filled with Keywords, but when the user clicks on the link to the site they are redirected to the "real" home page. This practice is called cloaking.

It is best to avoid anything devious when designing your web page.

So what can you do to get your website to the top of a search engine ranking? Monitor your site often and make sure it doesn't slip down. This may require doing occasional maintenance to make sure your site stays in its rank. Links are now becoming the best and easiest way to get your site to the top rankings. Use links that are to sites that are related to your site. Try to get links to top rated sites. Avoid links to sites that contain questionable material or rank very low. Take advantage of the META tags. Work on good content and make your site something someone would want to visit. It will take some work and maintenance, but driving traffic to your site is highly based upon where you rank on the search engines.

Internet Ghosts is a new term to add to your arsenal of Internet concepts, especially if you are involved in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

There are two types of Internet Ghosts:

1. The Retro Ghost - The Retro Internet Ghost is a shell of a concept, a domain, or an idea that no longer exists in the real world. Despite dying, it still has remnants on the Web, for example the old website of a company that is no longer trading and caries many inbound links, thus appearng high in search engine rankings. A retro ghost site can be bought out by another business to capitalise on the ghost's old reputation and build a new one, with ready-made SEO popularity. A great example of this is Internet flop boo.com, an ecommerce fashion startup that burned its way through £125 million ($ 188 million) in just six months in the late 90’s. It famously went bust in 2000, with its remaining assets being offloaded for about £2m. The ghost of boo - the domain boo.com was then launched as a travel website by Web Reservations International, with ready-made SEO links. It is a variation on what commercial lawyers call “good will”, but with the difference that it often remains floating in limbo until it is picked up and brushed up.

2. The User-Driven Ghost (also known as the Search Engine Apparition) - This one is a little more spooky, and comes to be when users search for a term that doesn’t exist on the Internet, usually because it is commonly misspelled, or is a new term that came to be through a campaign, a celebrity statement, or an event that brought it to public consciousness all of a sudden - whereas it was not known before.

How a ghost is born:

a. The public starts to search for a term on the Net, but can’t find it.

b. SEOs and spammers notice the new search trend, and immediately create sites specifically designed to trap the traffic to the new or mistaken term.

c. The public goes to these SEO and spam sites, but can’t find meaningful information, only the keywords and lots of Viagra advertisements and so on.

d. The pubic creates many more searches with the ghost terms, a demand that fuels more spam sites, thus creating a growing cycle, feeding upon itself.

An example of such an Internet Ghost would be searches for “Olivia Dukakis”, created by users looking for Olympia Dukakis. This is covered this in more detail here, but for months people have been looking for information about “Olivia Dukakis”, and all they got was spam.

And with the ghosts come the Ghost Busters. What Internet Ghost Busters do is create entries for these ghosts, investigating what the users really want and giving them this information. This breaks the Ghost-Abuse-Cycle, and allows the term to die peacefully.

Sometimes putting ghosts to rest also serves a wider, more news-worthy purpose, in cases such as the story of Entela Hysko, a woman who was unknown on the Net, until she died in a car crash with an Albanian media mogul. Within hours her name became the target of blog-spam, but no one outside of Albania knew who she was.

Of course if you Internet-Ghost-Bust, you not only provide a public service, but also channel legitimate traffic to your site. Hence, both of the above are additional tools in the arsenal of the good SEO expert.

Mostly, this audio is hampered by its confusing and disjointed organization—techniques that worked reasonably well in the print version and the movie, such as cutting every few seconds from one enthusiastic expert to another, make for a choppy and somewhat bewildering listening experience. The gentle cadences of Rhonda Byrne’s breathy, Aussie-infused voice are certainly the best part of the audio, but her material is scarce and provides mostly connective tissue between the testimonials. Its spiders count the occurrences of the keyword within the page being crawled.

The way that you format your content is also important to your SEO efforts. Formatted content actually receives greater weight from the search engine. Examples of formatting are keywords that are in boldface, in italics or in anchor text. This is because these formatted words serve to highlight the important part of the content for the visitor, so that they would find easily the information that they are searching for.

Last, but not the least, the pages on your site must revolve around a central theme. This is done by making individual pages centered around a specific topic, which is related to the site’s theme as a whole. This is the ultimate goal in your content SEO efforts. Inbound links are also important for the search engines. This is because Google’s PageRank algorithms calculate the PR value for a site by counting the number of links that point to it. • Matboard – this may be of the same material as the mount board. Bainbridge mats are of the highest quality and the material preferred by professionals. Foamcore matboard has the advantage of being exceptionally easy to work with.

• Hinges – these are small, adhesive pieces of paper designed for the specific purpose of fixing artifacts in place. They are preferable to glue or spray adhesives, as they are easier to control. Alternatively, you may prefer to use photo corners.

• Glazing – a material, usually glass or acrylic, that protects the surface of the artifact.

1. First, Click on the Start Menu button followed by the Control Panel option. Then Double-click on the Add or Remove Programs icon.

2. Locate Trojan.Win32 and double-click on it to uninstall Trojan.Win32. Follow the screen step-by-step screen instructions provided to you to complete uninstallation of Trojan.Win32.

3. Restart the computer.

4. After the un-installation process has completed, close "Add or Remove Programs" and your Control Panel.

5. Close all programs.

6. Stop Trojan.Win32 process. You can do this by

- Right-click the taskbar, and then click Task Manager .

-In Task Manager , click the Processes tab to see a list of running processes.

Southern Thailand: the Gulf Coast

The major part of southern Thailand's Gulf coast, gently undulating from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat, 750km away, is famed above all for the Samui archipelago, three small idyllic islands lying off the popular seaside venue for independent travelers, and a lazy stay in a Samui beachfront bungalow is so seductive a prospect that most people overlook the attractions of the mainland, where the sheltered sandy beaches and warn scenery dominated by forested mountains that rise abruptly behind the coastal strip, and a sprinkling of historic sights – notably the crumbling temples of ancient Phetchaburi. Though not a patch on the islands further south, the stretch of coast south of Phetchaburi, down to the traditional Thai resorts of Cha-am and Hua Hin, is handy for weekenders escaping the oppressive capital. Nearby Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is one of Thailand’s most rewarding bird-watching spots. Chumphon, 150km further down the coast, has little to offer in its own right, but is the most convenient departure point for direct boats to Ko Toa.

Southeast of Chumphon lies Ko Samui, by far the most naturally beautiful of the islands, with its long white sand beaches and arching fringes of palm trees. The island’s beauty has not gone unnoticed by tourist developers of course, but this at least means you can buy a little extra comfort if you’ve got the cash. In recent years the nest island out, Ko Pha Ngan, has drawn increasing numbers of backpackers away from its neighbor : its bungalows are generally simpler and cost less than Ko Samui’s, and it offers a few stunning beaches with a more laid-back atmosphere. Hat Rin is the distillation of all these features, with back-to-back white sands relaxed resident hippies though after dusk it swings into action as Thailand’s rave capital, a reputation cemented by its farang-thronged full moon parties. The furthest inhabited island of the archipelago, the small, rugged outcrop of Ko Tao, has taken off as a scuba-diving center, but remains on the whole quieter and less sophisticated than Samui and Pha Ngan.

Tucked away beneath the islands, Nakhon Si Thammarat, the cultural capital of the south, is well worth a short detour form the main routes down the center of the peninsula – it’s a sophisticated city of grand old temples, delicious cuisine and distinctive handicrafts. With its small but significant Muslim population, and machine-gun dealect, Nakhon begins the transition into Thailand’s deep south.

The train from Bangkok connects all the mainland towns, and bus services, along highways 4 (also known as the Phetkasem Highway, or, usually, Thanon Phetkasem when passing through towns) and 41, are frequent. Daily boats run to the islands from two jumping-off points: Surat Thani, 650km from Bangkok, has the best choice of routes, but the alnatives form Chumphon get you straight to the tranquility of Ko Tao.

How to Write an Article?

Writing is a skill which should turn into art, also on the Internet. Many novice journalists, however, wonder what to do in order to fill their blank pages with some text fast and well.

In order to answer this question, one should get acquainted with some basic rules of the art of journalism. The first rule is to have a high command of one's mother tongue as well as proficiency in grammar. The second rule of the writers' workshop is to accept the fact that writing is a several-stage process. We should remember all the stages and keep their order. In press journalism five such stages are distinguished:

1. Subject definition

2. Collecting materials (reporting)

3. Fact analysis and text planning

4. Composing the draft version

5. Editing and refining

Let us now take a closer look at particular stages.

Subject definition - the idea

This is the first step we begin our work with. Depending on the magazine you work for, this might be a political event e.g. a visit of the president in Moscow, a social one, e.g. the issue of unemployment in Warminsko ' Mazurskie Province, or scientific, like producing a map of the human genome. You may also bring up your own idea of the subject which has intrigued you this morning, for instance, depression. Let's assume that this is the subject for your article. If the journalist presiding over the editorial meeting picks up the subject, he will certainly give you some hints e.g. what experts you should ask for a brief opinion, or, if the story about a person suffering from depression should be featured in the article. Obviously, nobody will answer all your questions. It is you who should have a concept of your own work and know what you would like to include there, or rather what the reader would like to find out about. The chief editor may discuss the subject with you and emphasise certain issues, but the rest belongs to you. Now that we have got the subject, we start working and move to the second stage.

Collecting materials (reporting)

Reach the people who may present the topic you want to deal with from different points of view. So if we stick to the subject chosen, one should ask at least one specialist (e.g. a doctor) for opinion, talk, for example, to famous people who were or are suffering from depression. You may also see the manager of a therapeutic centre where people who plunged into depression are being treated, instead. There are many possibilities. Moreover, one should collect as much material as possible that will be useful or even necessary in describing the phenomenon. You will need statistical data, the description of symptoms and various types of the illness. Remember that you have to collect as much information as you can in order to have enough materials to choose from.

Fact analysis and text planning

Once you have collected all the necessary materials, you have to analyse them carefully. Decide which statements you may use in the lead article, which can be partly used, and which you will leave out. Make sure you've asked about everything. Remember two rules for making selection: which facts are crucial? and what questions may come to the reader's mind, the answer to which he would like to find in your text. When making a plan you may prepare a draft copy ' similar to an outline. You may also list the facts and number them in the order of importance.

The draft version

What should you start with? Write anything. What you have already written is not irreversible! If it's not good enough, you can delete the text and start from the very beginning. Surely, if you have enough time to work on the text, you may even start five more times. Try to write as if you were telling a story, however do not use colloquial expressions typical for spoken language. When the rough draft is ready, put it aside at least for a while ' take up something else in order to gain a fresh look and become more critical when you come back to it. It will be easier for you then to correct it.

Editing and refining

A text is not perfect from the start. After you have laid it aside for some time, you may set about correcting it. Make sure the text is not packed with too many adjectives and adverbs,which do not enhance the argumentation, but rather indicate the uncertainty of the author. Check if your sentences are not too complex and complicated, they should be clear. Do not use too sophisticated words and explain the terms the reader might not understand. Avoid beating about the bush, that is, wordiness. Delete all the irrelevant fragments to make the text readable and succinct. When you set about refining the text, always read it aloud, then you will spot all the errors more easily.
