Blythe</span><br />Carol B. Blythe, 54, a resident of Decatur, died on Friday, June 27, 2008 at her residence.<br />She was born on April 19, 1954, in Muncie, to Peter and Suzy (Dacus) Bird. She was married on July 4, 1986 to Jim Blythe.<br />She worked as a homemaker and also as an LPN for Florida Medical Center and Adams Memorial Hospital.<br />Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2 at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Zionsville Cemetery at a later date.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Jack Ross</span><br />Jack Ross, 85, a resident of Decatur, died on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.<br />He was born on January 2, 1923, in Willshire, Ohio, to Frank and Helen (Geary) Ross. He was married on October 27, 1945 to Ruth L. Kuhn.<br />Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1 at Haggard and Sefton Funeral home, with a reciting of the holy rosary at 3:30 p.m. prior to the calling. There will be a 9:20 a.m. prayer service on Wednesday, July 2 at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Officiating is Father David Voors. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Helen E. Welch</span><br />Helen E. Welch, 85, a longtime resident of Monroe, died on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Swiss Village Retirement Center.<br />She was born on April 23, 1923, in Berne, to Samuel and Mary (Zimmerman) Wittwer. She was married on June 9, 1942 to Rev. Robert R. Welch.<br />Visitation is from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30 at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Tuesday, July 1 at the First Missionary Church. Officiating are Rev. Max Haines and Rev. Gareth Wiederkehr.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Majeska J. Amstutz</span><br />Majeska J. Amstutz, 89, a resident of Berne, died at 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Swiss Village.<br />She was born on March 2, 1919, in Adams County, to Harve and Nellie (Kerr) Ineichen. She was married on July 2, 1939 to Virgil Amstutz.<br />Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the 2:00 p.m. service on Wednesday, July 2 in the chapel at Swiss Village. Officiating are Rev. Max Amstutz; Rev. Anita Rediger; and Rev. Gareth Wiederkehr.
