They have wonderful little soufflés, four different kinds. I had the one with artichokes and spinach. A beautiful little thing with a creamy interior and a lovely browned crisp top. It isn't sweet but it is so charming to look at and Ginnyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822685440958073958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428698969991932202.post-82459105094213210102008-05-14T12:52:00.002-04:002008-05-14T12:54:12.051-04:00The NonDaily Pic: A Satyr in Lancaster Countysatyrandfriends2Originally uploaded by Ginny QtipI saw this at Horst's auctions in Ephrata Tuesday. Not great art but quite funny. I left a bid on it but don't really need it. Where would I put it? Or why would I put it anywhere? But here! I can put it here for free without buying it! The magic of taking a photo! Costco sells good chocolate muffins! A chocolate muffin, a grape juice and a Zimbabwe coffee. A good start! Hitting the major food groups: chocolate, Vitamin C, and caffeine! Then I went to my well worn chair in front of the computer and checked on the discussion groups which I participate in. I wished my friends a Happy Mother's Day No Matter What Day. As of May 1, 2008 I am a Past President!I've been a Past President of the LCAA for nine days now. The one difference it makes is that I feel less weight of responsibility on my shoulders. The last week has been too busy still with work for the LCAA. I am not at that point yet where I can call as much of my time my own as I'd like. I'll continue to be doing lots of work for the LCAA but not as much as I have for the last four years. Squidoo is interesting. I intend to create some more lenses when I have some time. This last week has been crazy as I've been so busy. But life might ease up some soon as I am now a Past President of the LCAA and should have less responsibility than I've had for theGinnyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822685440958073958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428698969991932202.post-1458436691323415992007-10-21T20:08:00.000-04:002007-10-21T20:17:30.819-04:00Night Gallery III: Pirates' Plunder Carol Herr & Beth Stepenaski discuss plans for the upcoming exhibit and party on October 27 at the Lancaster County Art Association.Ginnyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822685440958073958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428698969991932202.post-56850813821743605582007-09-28T18:20:00.001-04:002007-09-28T18:22:40.573-04:00Self Portrait in Mirror XV Self Portrait in Mirror XV Originally uploaded by Ginny Qtip From a series of self portraits taken in mirrors. The camera is generally set to a high ASA number because the light is not good. Thus I don't think that the images would print out well due to "noise". But it's fun to do. I love using a digital camera but sometimes I miss film. I don't miss the darkroom orGinnyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822685440958073958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428698969991932202.post-90700812268504967712007-07-22T11:40:00.000-04:002007-07-22T11:47:33.097-04:00SQART Photography as Fine Art II, HarrisburgI won First Prize for one of my dandelion scanograms at Photography as Fine Art II at the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, PA. The exhibit continues until September 9. As of today, I still haven't gotten there. Soon, soon! I've seen the catalogue and it is beautiful! One of my other pieces is shown online in the Gallery page for the exhibit.
