Before Approaching Women Try These Warmup Techniques

I realized awhile back that the best way to warm up is to treat every interaction I have with a woman as a "spar", as a karate student would practice before the big fight I would practice on coffee shop waitresses, grocery store chicks and any other "counter service" women I encounter. The results I got were GREAT! I realized I didn't need to "psyche" myself up before going out to do some daygame I felt already in state and ready to approach as I treated everyday during the week as practice.

Around five years ago I didn't have a wingman or trusty friend to join me on the street and experiment with these techniques and methods.

It totally sucked ... I was excited and eager to try this stuff out but all my friends were too scared to try it during the day.

ESPECIALLY during the daytime. They thought it was weird and creepy. They thought I was
being sleazy approaching women during the daytime.

This is a great trick to use in bars and clubs, also on day 2s when you take your date to the mall for some window shopping. Just pop into a clothing store change room and surprise her!

This is also nice for parties. I'm a fan of magic tricks for establishing fun vibes but not solely for meeting women as this becomes a crutch (and not a good one too). Use magic sparingly to put yourself in the center of attention and then drop it.

First of all, I have to deal with the "jealous friend" who
makes things difficult. She is unresponsive and even rude
at times. But I get her laughing and smiling (you'll see how).

me overcome so many obstacles, in order to "get the girl".

Hi Alex

Just to let you know that I've had some success after watching
your videos. On Saturday I pulled a french girl wearing
headphones in a book store. Happy Days!!!

Started off with your joke about knowing how the book ended, then
asked for advice about a book for a female friend. After a bit
of chit chat went for a coffee with her. Everything went well.
To cut a long story short I'm taking her to a cocktail bar on
Thursday.

I've got a couple of questions though

Assuming everything goes well on Thursday, is it a good idea to
text her afterward. If so, should I say that I had a good
time/want to see her again, or do you have a "killer" line that
you could give me to make her want date number 3. What are your
thoughts?

When the instant date came to an end, I didn't lock down the next
date I just got the number, - which I kicked myself for later,
although I seem to have gotten away with it this time. I know
you guys say get the date, not the number and I understand the
logic of that.

However, previous wisdom has said, never ask for the next date
when you're on a date. So, whats the best way to make sure that
an instant date is followed by a another one?

Finally, just out of interest did anything come from that record
store girl who worked in a bar. To be honest from my own
experience she looked like she had "flake" written all over her.

Great work Mark on the hottie at the bookstore! When I first
started meeting women there it felt weird but eventually after a
few approaches it doesn't seem so strange anymore and why should it?
You're making women laugh and smile!

You're a fun guy and you're adding value to their day so they
should really be welcoming you with open arms and a big kiss.

Onto your questions ...

Rather than text her you should call her. If you've been on two
dates then calling seems always the best thing to do. It's easier
to convey emotions, display personality and organize another
date when she's hearing your voice. My rule of thumb is only text
if you have to do.

What To Say When You Call

When you call her always start by playfully teasing her or playing
a silly game (this sets a fun mood):

"Hey you, I was really shocked on our last meet up, I realized
afterward that you were checking out my man boobs the entire time
and it wasn't just a quick glance it was a constant stare, there's
more to me than just a sexy man body, I've a personality too"

or

"Listen I really enjoyed our last meet up, but I feel we're moving
too fast, I know you love me, you're head over heels for me and
you're telling you're friends that I'm 'the one' but I want to
take things slower ... so when do I meet your parents?"

This sets a frame where she's pursuing you and it sets a playful
fun tone to the call. If she plays along then you have a 3rd
date and possibly some more : )

Setting Up A Date

You're right on the money there, you don't want to setup a date
when you're on a date as it comes across as needy and clingy.
If she enjoyed herself with you then you won't have to worry
about a 2nd date. It'll just happen naturally.

By the way for guys who are asking what do I say when I call and
she doesn't answer and it goes to voice mail, should you leave a
message? The answer is YES! Always leave a message.

Would you like to know my stock standard message that gets me
a 90% answer rate? No kidding I actually calculated it and it's
90 percent of time the girls calls me back after I leave THIS
message or I call her back a few hours later and they always
answer.

The secret?

I order a pizza. No kidding I actually order a pizza on her voice
mail. "Extra cheese, crusty crusts, no anchovies, you still have
that special deal including garlic bread and coke?, can I get it
delivered by a cute girl with brown hair and blue eyes (basicly
describe her features), and make sure she's wearing short shorts ...
I also heard that if the pizza isn't delivered within 30 minutes
I get it for free .. also the girl comes free as well..."

Then I break character and call her a dork and tell her to call
me back within the hour before I head out to see a friend.

Give it a try if you're game ...

Yes, even though we're men, we still have PLENTY of things to like about ourselves. Contrary to the popular media that demonizes us, guys are pretty cool. Having a pecker rocks!

I mean, let's start with the obvious things about guys that are cool: We invented beer and stock car racing. What more do we have to do, after all? Yeah, I'm sure we invented the remote control, and probably the electric guitar, while we're at it.

We're GUYS. We make cool stuff.

But that's not all. You see, women really pick up on guys who LIKE being guys.

And not just guys who like their gender. Women really like guys who like THEMSELVES. It comes across in the way we treat ourselves and the way we treat others. If you like yourself, you probably aren't a dick.

It's an easy deduction, because the ironic thing about confidence and self-esteem is that the men you THINK might have it (i.e., Jerks) actually DON'T have it at all. They're making up for being horribly insecure dweebs. Ya dig?

So the more you communicate a self-liking, the more you're going to cultivate a more interesting and vibrant personality. And that "vibrant" turns into a "vibe" that you'll get with a woman when she picks up on it.

Just don't self-like yourself TOO much there, spanky. Keep the hand lotion out of sight. : )

And when I say fun, man, I mean FUN.

Not that you have to juggle and tell great jokes, but you should definitely have a little personality to show that gets people interested.

The easiest way to cultivate this trait is to open yourself up to being more PLAYFUL.

Being playful means having a slightly childish part of you that you can bring out on occasion to have a little fun with women. Tease them a little. Poke them in the ribs. Tell her she's got cooties.

Another great way to be fun is to go PLACES that are fun.

Make a list of all the cool places you can go with her. She'll associate the feelings she experiences WITH YOU. Remember that.

Why I HATE David DeAngelo

I always wanted to meet David Deangelo.

And in 2004, I got my chance (more on that in a moment).
I had been a subscriber of his dating newsletter for months.
Eagerly opening and reading every one of his emails that arrived
in my inbox.

Then one day, through his newsletter, David announced that he was
going to hold a 3 day seminar in Sydney, where I lived.

I desperately wanted to attend.

You see, back then, I was terrified of talking to attractive women.
Even though I had learnt tons of tips about approaching women from
reading his newsletter, I still experienced a paralyzing fear every
time I thought about approaching a woman I didn't know.

Even the UGLY ones.
