Some more images from our trip! We had a couple of days of good light to work with. Also, it is the beginning of 'grass fire' season. A lot of local farmers will burn off the prairie grass to help eliminate the red cedar trees that grow.

I was lucky to be able to spend over 5 days this week at a cabin up on Lewis and Clark lake near Yankton, SD. The best part was taking my sons up and a good friend of theirs. It was a guys 'spring break' and couldn't have been better. The boys got to call turkeys, shoot guns, ride ATV'S and throw rocks in the water. Sounds like a good time to me!

On Saturday was the Wright wedding. I hope you guys enjoy the images, it was a very special day and you have a great group of friends and family. Seeing all the familiar faces made my day a lot easier and you were great to work with. I especially liked the walk thru the tulip fields!

Senior Session

I had the opportunity yesterday to shoot a great kid. David needed some senior images and we shot on location at their family farm. David loves to hunt and work with horses, it definitely showed in the images we were able to capture. Thanks for the hospitality and I hope everyone has a great weekend.

We had an incredible day yesterday. Shooting the Holding wedding was a blast and I appreciated the challenge of 22 people in the wedding party! I hope you guys have a wonderful time on your honeymoon.

During the past week I was fortunate enough to visit our Nations Capitol. I travelled to DC to lobby our Nebraska Congressmen on national firefighter issues. It was an incredible experience to be a part of the democratic process. I didn't have much time to get out and shoot, but tried to take advantage of the free time I did have. Thanks for stopping by!

These images were shot for the http://www.omahafirefighter.com/ website. They are a group of firefighters that train for the FF Combat Challenge events that are held all over the US. A great group of people that work very hard at their profession.

First, I would like to say Happy Valentines Day to my wonderful wife.

We are going to try some fun stuff over here, going a bit more in-depth with the "images of the day", and give some background to the sessions. So, again, welcome and look forward to a weekly update.
