Individuals with "a steeped interest in transit issues and a willingness to make a firm commitment to the committee’s mission are being sought," said a T press release. The time commitment for most members includes meetings on the last Monday of each month from 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and the ability to participate in subcommittee meetings throughout the month for about 1.5 hours.
The T is asking potential members to answer the following questions:
1. How often do you use the MBTA (and which services)?
2. What is your primary reason for using the MBTA?
3. How long have you been using the MBTA?
4. What do you think are the most important issues facing the T?
5. Why would you be a good addition to the committee?
E-mail your responses by April 30, 2006 to the committee’s manager, Barbara Burke, or send them to her attention at the MBTA, 45 High Street, Boston, and MA 02110."Mike F.noreply@blogger.com
