I would also like to welcome <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5611308">Margins</a> and <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5637980">Smile 4 Katie</a>, two new sellers on <a href="http://etsy.com/">Etsy</a>!<br /><br />I have been browsing a lot of blogs by other Etsians to get some ideas about what to talk about here. One of the blogs I read (sorry, I cannot remember which one) mentioned <a href="http://www.petfinder.com/">Pet Finder</a>, which includes a searchable database to help people find pets to adopt. <a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_uo1fRFtAtUc/R8u7RzFCUiI/AAAAAAAAALw/jy-Y02jKf74/s1600-h/Thumbnail.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173434511408648738" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_uo1fRFtAtUc/R8u7RzFCUiI/AAAAAAAAALw/jy-Y02jKf74/s200/Thumbnail.JPG" border="0" /></a>It is awesome to see that someone has taken advantage of modern tools to help people find the perfect pet and to help pets find a loving home. One of the groups that posts profiles of adoptable pets on Pet Finder is <a href="http://www.lifelongtails.org/">Life Long Tails</a>, which I find particularly cool because this New York based organization rescues and finds homes for small animals. The general push for pet adoption tends to focus on dogs and cats, so it is wonderful to know that someone is looking out for the little creatures as well. Life Long Tails cares for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, chinchillas, ferrets, sugar gliders, degus, birds, reptiles, hermit crabs, amphibians, and more! And for those of you who love blogs, they have <a href="http://lifelongtails.blogspot.com/">one</a> as well for events, newcomers, adoptions, <a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_uo1fRFtAtUc/R8vAuDFCUjI/AAAAAAAAAL4/-Cbg_tG8oEo/s1600-h/ThumbnailFairy.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173440494298092082" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_uo1fRFtAtUc/R8vAuDFCUjI/AAAAAAAAAL4/-Cbg_tG8oEo/s200/ThumbnailFairy.JPG" border="0" /></a>and other little tidbits of information.<br /><br /><div>Thought for the day: "Calories are like fairies. Every time someone says, 'l don't believe in calories,' there's a calorie somewhere that falls down dead."
