You know, where you can sit on a platform and we try to throw softballs at a target, thereby dunking you in a tank of water.

Only, we don't use "soft" balls, we don't throw them at the target, and we don't fill the tank.

What the hell do you mean by "democratic action" anyway? Should we all run out and vote or something? Run along now and let the adults handle this...Adam-12noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332691.post-1126207533191609802005-09-08T15:25:00.000-04:002005-09-08T15:25:00.000-04:00I don't have to drive to a bar, asshat, I walk or ...I don't have to drive to a bar, asshat, I walk or take the subway. And since people aren't going to stop going to bars or comedy shows or concerts, I think it's smart, appropriate and useful to use some of the funds derived therein for the relief effort.

And just so you know, I've donated money to the Red Cross twice and my company matched my donations. I also have a week's worth of benefit shows that I'll be attending and I'm encouraging everyone I know to do the same. Every little bit helps and you have to reach people in different ways to keep the cash flowing. So if you want to chastise me, have a name and real fucking point first.Carolhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11131348843688523415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332691.post-1126205538382461932005-09-08T14:52:00.000-04:002005-09-08T14:52:00.000-04:00Yeah Carol, what a great ay to benifit the homeles...Yeah Carol, what a great ay to benifit the homeless....getting drunk.

Spending 5$ on gas, driving to the bar, buying drinks....when clearly the money could have been used in some sort of "democratic action"...WTF?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
