I'm happy too for those without cable, but I hope this sticks in the throat of those at NBC who were determined to cancel C.I! Kudos once again to USA, who have given it the love and respect it so richly deserves.

back with coffee and calmed. when i was last here linda's clarification hadn't been posted yet. reruns are fine by me. what sounded daunting initially was the arrangement of new episodes on wednesday nights via nbc precluding the 'original' premieres on usa. which i'm hoping wouldn't happen in the long run. these days thursday is really the only good tv night for me. i think that's why season

CI is not leaving USA!! It was always the deal that NBC would run repeats of the season 7 new episodes after they ran on USA. This is not new. NBC planned to run these repeat episodes before the strike even happened.
Why are people twisting this into something that it isn't?

It means that NBC will begin airing the episodes that have already aired on USA, in time slots that were previously filled with original programs that are now out of new episodes. This was the original deal between USA and NBC when USA got the series last spring. NBC just never bothered to place the show on its schedule. They're

this is not a goodbye to USA adiville. When NBC sold the show to USA, USA got the rights to the first run episodes under the condition that NBC would air them later on, on an as need be basis. Now NBC needs the episodes, so it will be re-airing them. The re-airing of the eps will help pick up some of the high costs that USA has incurred by taking on the show.

Not to mention that NBC is in HD, so we can check ...
