Reason was it was to help the Domestic Market................Lot of help that did..........enter the Gas cruch and the hurrican and now dealers are out of Prii and when one comes in that isn't pre-sold..........$2,995.00 added to MSRP!!!<BR/><BR/>When is the US Government going to get off their collective Butts and get a Handle on this. The new Engery Bill shouldn't limit the Break to a Number of Hybrids sold by a Automotive Company. They sould Punish the Companys that don't encourage Hybrid growth.......
