Trip to see Santa

We took Blake and two friends to see Santa in Roseville. Got there early enough to not have to wait too long. Bad news is that Santa didn't ask them what they wanted to Christmas. =( O well, you'll just have to send him a letter I guess

Our student ministry band was invited to play at a day of worhship event.

We had a nice visit with My Mom and her Brother Pete. Mom was in shortly from Arkansas and Pete drove in from Turlok. We met in Sacramento for Lunch at The Elephant Garden.

Panda Express

Panda Express opened in Grass Valley. It was such an huge event that we ran into Jake and his family (Jake and Josh in the pic). Also others including Niel and Pastor David C. But the best part was two sides of ORANGE CHICKEN.

Here's my cake. Wendy and Blake thought it would be funny to mix up the numbers. I'm 38 not 83. =)
It was a great carrot ^ cake with cream cheese frosting of course.

It was also small group night, so we had a living room full of High Schoolers. Blake and Jake are attempting to make a 38 with their hands.

We headed down to Roseville. CA again to see another concert. We've seen this bands before.

The three that we wanted to see where... Bullets & Romance, Death & Revenge, & Victim Effect.

The venue is at a local church in their youth group room.

Vans Warped Tour

Our family vacations are small trips to concerts. This is one of our fun days this summer.

July 1st, 2007 at Shoreline in Mountain view we attended the Van Warped Tour. Lots of great bands. Our main reason for driving down to this one and not waiting for the one closer in Sacramento was to be able to see "Family Force 5"

We took along two of Blake's Friends, Jake and Justin.

Ultimate Movie Night

Our High School Youth Group from Twin Cities Church got together to watch a movie and have a BBQ. You can see Blake in here in some parts.

Blake got his wisdom teeth pulled. This is right after he gets home. He stated that he felt "wise". Apparently in his drug induced state, this was supposed to be funny. Poor kid, he's much better now.

Blake recently joined the worship band at church. He plays bass guitar and loves it. With his Birthday money last month he ordered a 5 string bass which is now on back order but should ship out soon.
