Meet Tawnya Gunn, Good Stuff server by day, pop star by night.

Long-time patrons of our Redondo Beach Good Stuff know Tawyna's winning smile--what they don't probably know is that when not serving customers, she's working on her music career. Tawnya is one of the singers of the 7-piece band Slapbak, whose music she describes as "Urban Crunch." She also has her own solo album out, "The Truth" album, available on iTunes. Truth is more of a "No Doubt meets Jewel" sort of vibe, she says.
Either way, we're thrilled to have Tawnya with us in Redondo Beach!

Spotted: Santa Claus on surfboard at Good Stuff

HERMOSA BEACH, California: Before getting his presents together and heading back to the North Pole, a visibly tan and thinner Santa J. Claus was spotted this weekend at the Hermosa Beach branch of Good Stuff, for a quick bite before heading to the fabulous Saturday surf. We asked Mr. Claus what he thought of the incredible South Bay section of Los Angeles, where it was a record-breaking 80 degrees on Saturday. His response: "Ho,. ho, ho!"

He wished everyone at Good Stuff a Merry Christmas, and then he dashed away.

Happy 4th of July to everyone.
As most of you are aware our property is for sale along with the two businesses to the south of us. With all the rumors going around I thought it would be good to give you periodic updates on the status of this sale. The property was in escrow but recently fell out and is again soon to be listed. With the current conditions in the city it would take 2-3 years minimum for the buyer to obtain the proper permits even if the sale were to take place immediately. As of this writing nothing has happened.
You can rest assured that Good Stuff here in Hermosa will continue to serve our community delicious food with outstanding service as it has for over 28 years!
