I read your profile.

If your recent comments on this blog reflect at all on how you carry out your "mission to educate, motivate and inspire women to achieve a new body" I'm surprised you still have a job.

I think you ought to educate yourself a little on the co-morbid factors influencing eating trends and habits in the United States.

It's very worthy of a little research to actually find out why we eat the way we do and you may be surprised to find out that it's more than a simple "choice".

Perhaps visiting your local library and reading some medical or dietary journals to bone up on influences on diet trends and habits in the United States would be in order?Brianhttp://briantodd.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141542202885425619.post-22025541417862563582008-10-20T07:26:00.000-05:002008-10-20T07:26:00.000-05:00Holly, I would like you to know I am offended you ...Holly, I would like you to know I am offended you would judge my parenting and the choices I make for my child. My little boy, who is 5 years old now, is as healthy as his body allows him to be. I make only the best decision in terms of his food intake and the activities he partakes in. If you would like to pick and choose which aspects of my parents you disapprove on that is your prerogative; but do not ever put down my choices for my son. You do not know us nor do you know how I do lead by example every day I am with him. I think you are a self righteous, condescending woman who apparently had a bad day and decided to take it out on me.Christyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08794096718913021944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141542202885425619.post-54506222257484504522008-10-18T18:09:00.000-05:002008-10-18T18:09:00.000-05:00That's funny - since when is an apple more expensi...That's funny - since when is an apple more expensive than a box of over processed granola bars?

A bag of frozen chicken breasts costs less than a meal at a trendy drive through.

The 1st t hing we need to do as parents is lead by example.

How in the world can you expect your son to learn how to eat healthy if you are not doing it yourself?

Also take note, you have mentioned the illnesses your son battled - just because your son is "thin" does not mean he is healthy - especially if he plays videos games and eats tortilla chips - as you boast about in your blog.

You have the power to change this.
It is a choice. A choice that impact the long term health and fitness of your son.

I sure hope you can take a step back and see the long term effects of the choices you are making for your son at this early point in his life.Holly Rigsbyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05035644028868712366noreply@blogger.com
