Background in environmental policy, engineering, green business, science or public health would be helpful. The board will conduct interviews on September 9. Resumes and letters of interest should be sent as soon as possible to:<br />Selectmen’s Office<br /> 333 Washington Street<br /> Brookline, MA 02445<br />or by email to:<br /> patty_parks@town.brookline.ma.us.<br />For more information, contact CCAB or<br />the town administrator (617-730-2211).<br /><br /> This Committee was formed when, on May 29, 2008, Brookline Town Meeting passed, by an overwhelming majority, Warrant Article 29, which was drafted by CCAB. <br /> Town Meeting voted that the Board of Selectmen establish a Climate Action Committee “the purpose of which is to reduce the total emission of greenhouse gases by the Brookline community, including town government.” The Committee will have fifteen members, including members of various town boards and citizen groups and three members at large with scientific, engineering, public health, or business expertise. The committee will be co-chaired by a member of the Board of Selectmen and a member elected by the committee.
