Nick Griffin the leader of the BNP today told the BBC that people coming on boats from Africa should be sunk and given life rafts (very kind of him) he claims we have too many "foreigners" in this country and while i agree that immigration in this open door country is appalling and needs serious reform his comments sum up the reason why people think he is a shifty knuckle dragging idiot who spouts utter vile and prays on peoples fears and weaknesses. But i want people to put things into context why the BNP are insignificant yes they did get 2 MEP's at the last euros but they mean nothing in the context of voting in the European parliament to be quite frank they don't really have any real voice so while their members who a lot of them are from "foreign" back grounds (but they're not really foreign as they're white)"that was a statement from a BNP member to myself recently" keep thinking they're the only party of the people the vast majority of the general public disagree as voting numbers prove this but i must say that The BNP are one of the few things that makes me genuinely proud to be British; and I'm deadly serious about it. They're a ludicrous, village-idiot, joke of a party who are openly mocked and despised by 99.9% of the country. They have the support of a couple of thousand knuckle-draggers in a country with a population of 60 million people.Go compare that with other Western European countries, like France, Spain, Germany.. etc, where extreme right-wing political parties are receiving upwards of 30% of the popular vote, and are truly threatening to take power in the next decade. UK gets a battering for being racist, yet we've come a million times further than other supposedly more enlightened nations.... are a complete joke, and i salute them.. with two fingers.

A Cautionary Tale

Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for £10 each.
The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at £10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort.
He next announced that he would now buy monkeys at £20 each.
This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms.
The offer increased to £25 each and the supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort to
even find a monkey, let alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at £50 each!
However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would buy on his behalf.

In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers:" Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has already collected.
I will sell them to you at £35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them
to him for £50 each."
The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys for £700 billion.
They never saw the man or his assistant again, only lots and lots of monkeys!

Now you have a better understanding of how Gordon Brown's BAILOUT PLAN WILL WORK !!!!It doesn't get much clearer than this.................

Send This Lot A Message - Vote Conservative

Tomorrow the good people of Newton get the chance to send a message to the Labour Party, by telling them they have FAILED.

These people on the propaganda site Labour4Newton, are already thinking it's in the bag, but are they?

Three Mp's have been on this campaign. Yes three Mp's, for a Council by-election .

This is unheard of, i get the feeling they are very worried, that they will lose this.

No matter what they tell you, about how they are going to "walk it" don't believe a single word what comes out of their mouths, they can not be trusted.

Recently Community boards were put up, and money was found for local Scouting Groups, all this in the run up to a by-election.

But i am sure it's just a coincidence, that it has just happened in the lead up, and it was going to happen anyway?

If you want to send a message to this morally corrupt party, then Vote Conservative.

Only the Conservatives can make a difference on Tameside Council.

If you vote BNP, Green, Lib Dem or even UKIP then you will return a Labour CLLR is that really what you want?

Residents Close Door to Constant Failiure

On the election trail in Newton this weekend, we saw all the main players out and about.
But what is really surprising to me, is the amount of people who had voted for Labour in the past, saying they were going to vote for us, as the Conservatives are THE ONLY alternative and feel voting for a minority party would see them waste their vote.
For the first time in a long time the Conservatives are breathing down the necks of Labour in places like Newton, a place where Labour have taken for granted in the past, and apart from a few pre election "bribes" have let residents down.
Now as i were delivering John welsh's excellent leaflet to the masses, it came to a point where Labour were doing the same road in the opposite direction.
As i were approaching this house, the gentleman from Labour was walking down the path at the same time.
It wasn't quite road runner and the coyote, but i was putting our leaflet through the letter box the Labour representative had rung the door bell, and this gentleman came to the door.
I handed him my leaflet, and said "Newton Conservatives here, here's our leaflet sir" i was politely thanked, and as i walked away, the Labour Representative spoke and said "Hello i am from the Labour Party can we count on your support" and this gentleman's response were to him, was to shut the door in his face.
Now although this being very funny to me, it reminded me no matter how much Labour go on about how fantastic they are doing, and how they are going to do this, and that, that shutting of the door was a nice reminder that there are a lot of people out there who have had enough of their lies, and smugness.
With a general election expected in 2010, it gives me great hope, that we will over turn this shambles of a Government.

Over the past couple of months the British Economy has been let me put it politely, on it's knees. With the Pound getting very close to the Euro, and UN Employment at it's highest for 12 years.
The Labour Party have re invented something, and to be fair to them it's genius.

They have managed to not use a word, which they like to associate with the Tories.

And they have come up with something, which they have probably copyrighted.
If you haven't guessed it yet, it's the CREDIT CRUNCH.
I hate it with a passion, in the 80's and early 90's, Labour blamed everything on the RECESSION.
And how everything which went wrong in life, was the nasty Tories fault.

In 1997 New Labour came into power, they inherited a fine set of books from John Major, who is very much under estimated as a leader in my opinion.
And all of a sudden everything what went right with the economy, was all down to Blair and Brown,
You must not forget Brown said under his watch "it would be the end to boom and bust"
There was no mention of the previous administration and how well they left things, well they wouldn't would they.
The fact was the worlds economy was on the up, and things were pretty good. People never had so much money in their back pockets, which in turn encouraged people to lend from the banks.
As House prices went through the roof, and people got into more and more debt, by taking out silly mortgages like 110% of the property, shocking really.
But everything was Rosy in the eyes of Labour, and it was all down to them,or so they told us.
Now today people are in hell of a lot of debt, the banks don't even lend to themselves.
But if you ask the Government it's not their fault, it's other peoples.
They will just smarmingly tell you it's the "CREDIT CRUNCH" and by using these words, they are trying to convince people that we are not in a RECESSION.
And as long as they can convince retailers, and the press to use this catchy slogan then it will become part of everybodys vocab, then everything will be OK.
They tell you, you must tighten your belt.
And to help you out we will put up Council Tax, yeah great help.
But don't worry.... they have even more to dictate to you over, whether it's how much red meat you can eat in a week, or how much sugar is in drinks, what form of transport you are allowed to go on, all for environmental reason of course.
Though it seams the Government manage to find even more money to bale the banks out, or as it should be called RE NATIONALISATION.
Let me put it simple, people shouldn't trust Gordon Brown anymore. Apparently his latest plan is to invest £200 billion of taxpayers money in the "cash strapped" banks. Which means that people are taxed more, don't have any money to save, have no money to put into their bank accounts, which will leave the banks strapped for cash, which will require a bailout from the taxpayer.....
I just hope people realise that at the next General Election, that's if Labour haven't outlawed elections by then.
They kick these crooks out, and return a Conservative administration who historically have followed and fixed every single bankrupt Labour administration.

Vote John Welsh for Hyde Newton

Well it's election time again, this time under unfortunate circumstances through the passing of Labour CLLR Margaret Oldham.

I always found Margaret to be courteous, though i don't agree with her Party, i can respect the fact she worked for the people she was lucky to represent.

Having been hitting the streets for the past week or so every night.

I can say we're getting some great responses from people we're meeting.A lot of people are sick and tired hearing how wonderful this Council and the Labour Party are rammed down their throats.

If it's not the propaganda page.... sorry the letters page in the Advertiser, or the disgraceful Tameside Citizen, each tax payer pays for, telling us how lucky we are to have the likes of Roy Oldham at the helm, they can switch the TV on and see on a daily basis that the Labour government are bailing Banks out and wasting money left right and centre.

What the Labour Party are not telling you is, that Tameside Council will be putting up Council Tax AGAIN by in the region of 3%, great just what we need in a recession, or is that the Credit Crunch as it's been repackaged.

Maybe they can waste more money on street statues? or bronze plaques? just what we need.

Instead of wasting money, and by God does this Council waste money they could look at not increasing Council Tax? or even reducing it.

Maybe that will help struggling families in this current climate?

Getting back to the Election, our Candidate is John Welsh.

Now having been working with John on his election, I have got the impression that he is a quality candidate, not only is he a strong Family man, but he is passionate about Newton.

The area he grew up, and getting elected is about him being a strong and alternative voice for the people of Newton, and not a cash cow like some other candidates view it as.

It's so refreshing to hear someone with a similar passion for what he does.

Now i know Labour are worried, and they should be.

But having two local Mp's working on a Council campaign, is unheard of.

And if Labour wasn't doing so badly nationally, then you wouldn't have seen them.

I am quite surprised James "I am not an MP I am a Cabinet minister" Purnell knew where Newton was, maybe it could be another place for him to lose his wallet?

But Mr Purnell doesn't have to be there, to be featured in a picture does he?.

Between the top three Parties there is only a couple of hundred votes between them, so it could be any ones.

Don't forget last Mays election the Conservatives pulled nearly 1000 more votes than Labour, across Hyde and Stalybridge.

This is a massive wake up call to them, and what have they done since? absolutely nothing!

But i want to stress, that if you want to send a real message to this morally corrupt Labour Party? then a vote for the Conservatives is the only vote.

A vote for any other party, and you will be electing a Labour CLLR.

It is as simple as that, no other party can make an impact on Tameside Council but the Conservatives.

So with your ballot paper Vote John Welsh, Vote Conservative.

Green Gate - Heads Will Roll

House of Commons Speaker Michael Martin has said he "regrets" that police were allowed to search Tory MP Damian Green's office without a warrant.
He told MPs that a parliamentary official had allowed a raid by signing a consent form.
Mr Martin said he had known in advance about the raid and Mr Green's arrest, but he had not been told the police did not have a search warrant.
He has referred the issue of seizure of material to a committee of senior MPs.
'Bad day for democracy'
Mr Martin also promised that, in future, a warrant would be required before searches were carried out on Commons property.
"Every case must be referred for my personal decision, as it is my responsibility," he added.
Mr Green, shadow immigration minister, was arrested and held for nine hours last Thursday as part of a police inquiry into Home Office leaks.
Many MPs have expressed outrage, saying that the independence of MPs has been compromised.
Raising a point of order, Mr Green told the Commons it would be a "bad day for democracy in this country" if MPs could not exposed information that ministers preferred to keep hidden.

Mr Green added: "Those who have the real power in this country - ministers, senior civil servants and the police - are also not beyond the law and beyond scrutiny.
"An MP endangering national security would be a disgrace. An MP exposing embarrassing facts about Home Office policy which ministers are hiding is doing a job in the public interest."
The MP for Ashford was arrested and held for nine hours last Thursday - on suspicion of conspiring to commit misconduct in public office and on suspicion of aiding and abetting misconduct in public office - while all his homes and offices were searched.
Mr Green denies any wrongdoing.

In his statement, the Speaker said the Metropolitan Police had told the Serjeant at Arms, Jill Pay, last Wednesday that they were contemplating arresting an MP but had not given their identity.
Mr Martin said Ms Pay had told him in the strictest confidence that an MP might be held and charged but no further details had been given.
At 7am on Thursday, the police called Ms Pay again and explained the background to the case and named Mr Green as the MP in question.
She then informed the Speaker of this and that a search might take place of his Commons office.
Mr Green was arrested in the afternoon, when the raids were carried out.
But Mr Martin said: "I was not told that the police did not have a warrant [for the Commons search]."
'Not asked'
He added that the police did not explain, as they should have done, that the serjeant at arms was not obliged to consent to the search - or that a warrant should have been insisted upon.
"I regret that a consent form was then signed by the serjeant at arms without consulting the clerk of the House," Mr Martin said.
"I must make it clear to the House that I was not asked the question of whether consent should be given or whether a warrant should have been insisted on," he said.
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has said she had no prior knowledge of Mr Green's arrest.
She, and Prime Minister Gordon Brown, have said it would be improper for ministers to become involved in police investigations.
In the Commons, Conservative leader David Cameron said: "It's no good for the prime minister to hide behind 'I was only supporting the independence of the police'.
"People want to know whether our democracy, our right to know and our right to expose are safe with this prime minister."
Former Conservative leader Michael Howard said MPs on all sides felt "outrage" at the arrest of Mr Green.

1. That he never knew the Police didn`t have a warrant or that they needed a warrant to search an MP`s office.

2. That he alone knew in advance that the MP in question was about to be arrested!

Does he really believe the British people are that stupid, after the torrents of lies told by this government, does he or the new labour government think that this will be laid to rest?

Congestion Charge! I Will Be Voting No

The congestion charge referendum is vastly approaching us, and i've read a lot of publicity in the media for the "Yes Campaign" But they don't really go on about who will pay, they can't even tell you where the final boundaries will be, but they will want you to say yes.

Looking into it further, if everyone used the public transport and left their car at home, how on earth will the expansion be paid for?I asked this question at a congestion charge debate in manchester, and was told by the yes campaign (Labour Party) that they would look at expanding the boundaries, and reducing the charge, to entice people back on the road.

So this is not about reducing traffic,for environmental or congestion reasons, it's just another cash cow for this Government.

Oh and if they don't make enough money from it, the councils will have to pay the shortfall, which in turn will put up council tax, that's really wise going into an economic downturn isn't it? more financial burden?

You will be receiving in the post, your ballot papers in post in the next week or so.

I urge you to weigh up the pros, and cons, and ask yourself.....Can i, or my family, be burdened with another extra tax in this economic crisis?

Chief Executive Janet Callender has resigned

TAMESIDE Council’s chief executive Janet Callender is understood to have resigned from her post. In a shock move, the town hall chief is believed to have walked away from her £155,000 a year post, which she once described as her “dream job”. It is unclear what triggered the decision, but she is not believed to have another job lined up. The former solicitor joined Tameside Council as chief executive five years ago. Previously she held both legal and senior management posts at Knowsley Council from 1993, and prior to that Manchester City Council. In June, she was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list for services to local government. Earlier this year it emerged she drew a salary of £155,000 a year — pocketing even more than a cabinet minister. She drew criticism from trade union bosses who were angry that her pay packet — which dwarfed that of pensions secretary Stalybridge and Hyde MP James Purnell on £137,579 — had been agreed, yet the equal pay claim issue for many of the borough’s workers dragged on. The ‘rich list’ published by the TaxPayers Alliance showed she was one of 88 chief executives across the country earning more than £150,000 a year.

America Has Spoken

Barack Obama last night, became the new President of the United States of America.

Firstly, i want to congratulate President Elect Obama on victory, and hope he is the "Change" he professes to be, for the good of the western world.

I want Obama to do the right thing, by keeping the troops out in Iraq and Afganistan for as long as the two Countries need us there.

When we do leave both Countries, they're ready security wise, to deal with insurgents and the Taliban.

If we leave too soon, or pull all troops out straight away, the Taliban will reform and we will be back to square one.

And all those brave American lives lost will have been for nothing.

I was watching the news coverage on various channels, i found the BBC appallingly one sided in their coverage in favour for Obama, confirming to me their left wing status in World media.

Sky News was the fairest in equal balanced coverage, giving both sides of the campaign.

We also have access to American stations on Sky, from CNN, Fox and CNBC.

Now having flicking through all the channels, i settled on Fox for basic comedy value, but what disturbed me was and bear with me on this one.

President Obama having been selected as the Democratic candidate, was great for them, they put forward a fresh faced candidate who came across as different in his approach to politics. whether you agreed with him, or not it's irrelevant.

He had the 97 Blair factor which won him the election.

Now where i have the big problem.

Several stations were interviewing African American people after voting, and a large proportion said they voted for Obama on the fact that "he was black".

Nothing to do with his polices, now i find that appalling.

That someone can vote for someone on the basis that they're of a certain colour, when you vote. It should be on the fact that this candidate, brings the best polices to the table.

And is the best person for the job, and their party will be the best for you.

Now if someone said i "were voting for McCain because he was white" then there would have been outrage.

I personally can't see a difference between the two quotes i find them both wrong.

I haven't got any problem with someone of a different colour to me, we're all human beings, we're all the same.

What actually defines you in life, is your actions and character, not your skin.

So why after years of saying we're all humans, we're not different to you, we should be treated equal, which we are by the way.

Do some turn around and vote because of the reason they quite rightly campaigned against?

That to me i's utterly wrong, and utterly hypocritical.

Vote For John McCain

Tomorrow America decides who they want as their next President, on one side you have the Democrat Barack Obama, and on the other side you have the Republican John McCain.
Having seen the media coverage in the States, i have found it very bias in favour of Obama, with very little balanced reporting, and don't think Mr Obama has been questioned and brought to task enough, for people to have seen the full picture.
Even though i have respect for what he says, i find his idealism's way off the mark.
I will never agree with anyone who wants to penalise someone who is successful in life by hammering them with tax.
But the scary thing is, he can't quite decide on what salary level a tax increase will hit you, first he said anyone earning under $250,000, then it was $200,000, the week later Biden said $150,000, now a Democrat Senator has announced it's $120,000.
That's halved in the matter of a few weeks, how can you take this mans word when he doesn't even know what his word is going to be?
Then there is his relationships with his confidant Rev. Dr Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr, a man who spouts racist hate, a man Obama turned to for advice for 20 years and called him friend,then all of a sudden when he decided to run for nomination, cast him aside and said he didn't agree his hateful remarks?
Or there is his Auntie, who is an Illegal immigrant in America, which Obama never knew she was there illegally?
This is the same Auntie, who made an illegal donation to Obama's campaign.
I wonder if she is registered to vote?
I think Obama has a lot hidden away, which the American media should have and had a duty to let people know.
There are a few things in politics that really gets on my nerves, like His campaign for instance. From day one, it was run on the fact that he would be the first black president.
I couldn't care less about the colour of his skin, it's irrelevant to me, it should be on the fact that he is the best person for the job, and not that he is African American.
I have heard certain people have even said, that "if people don't vote for Obama then it's because he is black" what an appalling thing to say, so just because you don't vote for him then you're a racist?
Things like this feed the racist element, and give them substance for their twisted message.
Now i personally think John McCain is the right man for the job, he has experience, he's respected, and has a history of working with the Democrats on cross party issues, for the good of the people, he has a clear message of change, and plans to create millions of new jobs by encouraging business not crippling them like Obama.
He has served his country for over 50 years, either in the forces, or in senate.
A man who has given so much for the country he loves, he also spent time as a POW, and must have seen all kinds of things.
This is the experience which has given him structure and character, and makes him, in my eyes the right candidate, the right man for the job.
If i were American, on Tuesday 4th November 2008, i would vote for John McCain.

Not All Is Well In Camp Labour

It has been reported this week, that CLLR Andrew Highton from Ashton StMichaels has been deselected for the next local election in 2010.

Now last year, it was reported they tried to deselect former mayor, and in my opinion a lovely lady Margaret Sidebottom.

So what is it about this ward?

My guess is, they're very nervous about losing in StMichaels, after Tory candidate Dr Paul Buckley slashed their majority to 6 votes at the last election.

Also with the excellent work, Ashton Conservatives continue to do in StMichaels, and in Hurst it looks like a Tory gain in 2010.

Well it would be so easy for me to say, the Tories are favourites, but the Labour Party have said that for me, by deselecting their "weakest link" a Labour source told me "They are really worried in Ashton, what with the massive swing in Hurst, and in StMichaels. But privately think that their real weakest link is Bill Harrison, who is up in 2011. and also said they have had to act quickly, before it's too late"

Now we look at the 3 man list they have to replace CLLR Highton. Firstly they have Idu Miah who was a losing candidate in Mossley last year. Secondly they have Roy Oldhams friend and former Tameside Council hiaracy Paul Dowthwaite, who last year received a hammering in Hurst, personally i haven't seen a man cry that much since Italia 90, and thirdly Bill Fairfowl.

Looking at the list, personally i am not that impressed with the quality Labour have in their ranks, i thought "much fancied" Claire Francis would have been on the list.

But i am told that they have plans for her in Longdendale, for when CLLR Oldham finally releases his firm grip on the Council.

I hear she has a special bond with a certain Longdendale CLLR anyway.

It looks like the Conservatives will take their first seat in StMichaels, and we expect a fight, no doubt usual dirty tactics will be used by Labour i.e Audenshaw 08 and Hurst 07 but we may have an ace up our sleeve?.

Fears For Hyde United Stalwart Chris Hilton

AN AIR and land search has been launched to look for a science teacher missing for almost two weeks in the French Alps.

Christopher Hilton, 33, had watched some of the later stages of the Tour de France near Grenoble with his parents before he disappeared. He told them he was going for a walk in the mountains near Le Bourg-d'Oisans, a town in the Ecrins area of the Alps.

Mr Hilton, who works at Littlemoss High School, Droylsden, has not been seen or heard of since.

Friends who learned of his disappearance on July 27 made several desperate calls to his mobile phone, which have gone unanswered.

A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office said the search was ongoing and Mr Hilton's parents had been provided with consular assistance.

Mr Hilton, said to be from Stalybridge, was secretary of the Hyde United Supporters' Club and team photographer.

The club thought it unusual it had not heard from him with the start of the new season approaching and only discovered he was missing after playing a local friendly match.

Tony Beard, director of football, said: "The club is shocked and we just hope he turns up safe and well.

"Chris is very popular, respected and a well-liked volunteer at the club.

"He is very knowledgeable about football and well known in the non-league football scene.

Chris is also a popular teacher who does a lot both inside and outside of school".

Eddie Dixon, deputy head of Littlemoss High, said: "Chris has worked at the school for more than seven years and is very popular and conscientious.

"He is dedicated to his work at the school and to pupils and staff alike," said Mr Dixon.

Now i know Chris from my time i spent watching Hyde United he is a god send to the club like a handfull of other people who tirelesly work voluntary for this club he's a complete gentleman and really nice man i saw him a couple of weeks ago and he was saying how much he was looking forward to the new season and for him not to be there for the first match of the season is very worrying my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and hoping that the news we get is good news.

Never Spoil A Good Story With The Truth!

How predictable that the one Post Office saved was 1 of the 2 in Droylsden.
What really gets me is the likes of David Hayes MP standing outside Edge Lane Post Office with a banner as seen in this weeks edition of the Advertiser on page 5 with CLLR's Cooney,Middleton and Holland.
But i just want to remind people that David Hayes MP voted for closure like James Purnell MP and the weasel like character Andrew Gwynne MP did.
You can't vote for closure then go and pose for pictures saying "Save Our Post Offices" it's like getting a job as a Vegetarian spokesman then going out for a steak meal to celebrate getting the job.
But the biggest joke out of the lot is yet again the Labour Party are taking credit for what local Conservatives did our petition gained in the region of 2000 signatures including former Labour Party candidates while the Labour Party struggled with a couple of hundred.
But yet again the local spoon fed media decide to ignore these facts.
The Post Office which got a large proportion of the signatures was the Cheetham Fold Road branch the feeling in the local community is very strong and is a much used Post Office which funny enough makes a good profit so you would ask yourself why close a profitable business?
It beggars my belief.
I believe the Labour Party have have lost any claim they have had that they are for the "common man" or "the working class" which they quite frankly insultingly use as they like nothing better to fight things on class something which they are very much short of you are nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Save Our Post Offices

Andrew Gwynne Denton and Reddish's Labour MP has released a statement due to the announcement of proposed closure of 6 Post Offices in Tameside.

His comments are full of typical arrogance on one hand campaigns for Post Offices to be kept open then when in Parliament with his other two Labour MP's in Tameside vote for closure

Hypocrite that's what this man is but he goes on

“This closure brings Denton, Audenshaw and Dukinfield to the minimum network standard, having suffered from a small number of Post Office closures in 2005, as well as a larger number of closures under the previous Conservative Government.”

You Voted For Closure, Your party has been in Government for 11 years,you have taken services away from the Post Office and closed 24 Post Offices in and around Tameside since 1999, so you can't blame a previous Government.

He continues...........

“We need to build up Post Office custom, and that means we need to make sure the Government gives business to the Post Office that people want to use, and that people have easy access to.”

You voted for closure, how can diluting and removing the services be a benefit?

He continues and this comments really sums him up...............

“I will always fight to make sure my constituents have good access to Post Office services, and that those services are the ones that people need and want to use.”

You voted for closure, how can you support the Post Office and it's services for people when you voted for bloody closure?

Again this Labour party are dictating to you where and how you use Post Office services under this Government services are going backwards not forwards.

They are now hitting people who need the help the most our elders.

Yes that little old lady everyone knows, the 80 odd year old who has worked all her life and uses her local Post Office to draw her pension and pay her bills.

She can't walk very far, and doesn't want to rely on public transport! because it's not very good.

Now she finds that Post Office is not there, and the nearest one is a couple of miles away.

What does she do? Call Ring and Ride? they might be able to pick her up but not at the time she wants and needs! Rely on her Family? Most people work until 5pm, and the post office closes at 5:30pm.

So that rules that one out! right, what about a Taxi? £2 flat rate average cost £5 times 2 =£10 expensive isn't it especially for someone on a state pension.

Very expensive over the course of a year isn't it? but why should they bother, they will still expect you to vote for them.

As they will still pretend to be for the working class which is laughable!

if it's not them voting for 42 days detention without any evidence supporting it, or not giving you the right for a referendum over the European constitution which they promised.

Or the theft of the motorist regarding the taxation or the Congestion Charge.

They're losing personal information on a weekly basis, but will still press ahead with national ID cards.

Has anyone spotted a pattern here everything they're doing is about how they control you, where you shop, how you shop where you can go and how you can get there this is not a democratic government it's a dictatorship.

Plastic Police In Yet More Trouble

A story in this mornings nationals got my attention regarding two Christian preachers who were told they were committing a "hate crime" by handing out gospel leaflets.
Now I'm sure you have had in many town centres been stopped by many people with leaflets from dry cleaning to cheap phonecards and I've been stopped many times by members of the church of Jesus Christ later day saints it's funny as they all seam to have the same suit on and talk with a Canadian/American accent.
I always say no thanks like i would to anyone who was preaching to me in the street whether Christian, Muslim, Jewish it doesn't matter to me I'm not offended and wish them well because how can you be offended by somebody wishing you well?
We live in Britain and when somebody doesn't want to speak to or listen to somebody we have the right to walk away what ever colour you are.

Anyway these two Evangelical ministers Arthur Cunningham and Joesph Abraham were threatened with arrest and ordered to leave or face being "beaten up"
How this come around was they were seen talking to four Asian youths in Birmingham.
It's then reported that an Asian PCSO accused the two gentlemen of trying to convert Muslim youths and then launched into a tirade against President Bush and the war in Iraq.
Father Joesph a pastor at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Saltley, Birmingham said "He couldn't believe this was happening in Britain"
He went on to say "the Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Michael Nazir Ali had been criticised by the Church of England for saying "there were no-go areas in Britain"
But Father Joesph went on to say "he was right. We were doing nothing more than expressing religious freedom because this is a free country"
"The office said we were off limits" and said "We were committing a hate crime but who were we hating, exactly, i have no idea.
We were also accused of trying to convert Muslim youths in a Muslim area and threatened with arrest"
When the officer discovered Egyptian born Father Joesph and his colleague were Americans, he launched into a anti US speech he allegedly kept saying "look at what you president has done to Iraq and Afghanistan"
"When we were leaving he said: "if you come back here and get beaten up...... well you have been warned"
The ministers are now being backed by the Christian Institute and other religious groups from all faiths who have all branded the officers behaviour "deeply alarming"
They have complained to the West Midlands Police that their human rights were infringed and have demanded an apology and damages.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said the support officer was merely trying to prevent trouble in Birmingham's mainly Asian Alum Rock Road.
But Birmingham MP Lib Dem's John Hemming said "Wherever you are in the country you should be entitled to freedom of religious expression"

Well i never thought i would agree with a Lib Dem, so what if these two gentleman were talking to four Asian youths, it's called integration with other religions and communities, isn't that what is encouraged?
This PCSO should be ashamed of himself, and should be sacked because he is not fit to represent The Queen and this country, as an officer he should be impartial and to represent and uphold the law, to the letter of the law.
Isn't his tirade against the Americans racist?
Isn't he having a go at these two Americans because they are from America?
Now if it's illegal to speak to other people from other religions in the street ?then arrest me now, because I've done it, in fact I've done it on many occasions as i will talk to anyone as that is how you get to know people.

I feel that the politically correct brigade are their own worse enemies at times.
A community support officer telling two peace loving Christians that they are committing a "hate crime" just by preaching the gospel near to Muslims isn't just madness....... it's down right dangerous.
Britain's always been a melting pot, welcoming all, as long as they live by the laws of the land and get on with their new neighbours
But now because of buffoons like this PCSO, far right parties are rising to power on the back of policies claiming ethnic minorities are taking over the UK.
Which is rubbish by the way.
Try telling them different when plastic plods are acting like this?
This fool might as well become a recruiting officer for the BNP shame on you.

Please, Please , Please Will You Empty My Bin!

Last night while i met up with a few friends at my local to watch that shower of sh*t that is our national team, i got approached by somebody who knows my interests, out of the blue said "I'm sick and tired of that f*cking council" now being a Tory activist, i always welcome people having a go at the Labour controlled group.
So i asked him what was up? and he said "Why are my bins only emptied twice a month?" i replied "that the council have to hit government targets regarding recycling"
He then said "I've worked all my life, paid my taxes, have children, who have grown up and they now have kids, and they stay at my house several times a week, so i have quite a bit of waste, from nappies to waste food, and my bin gets quite full quite quickly".
I don't mind recycling, i do all i can! i separate my glass bottles from plastic and put my newspapers in a separate bin but i still don't have any room as they go through nappies like mad, and if the bin lid is slightly up then the binmen won't collect"
It dawned on me that this man was right, it's an appalling system.

Yes recycling is important, but so are people, and their Families why should this man suffer?
I feel sometimes the environment is used as a smoke screen, for extra taxes just look at any response when you raise the question, they just say you are anti green, whether it's charging you for Carrier bags or congestion charge it's all extra money, which quite frankly could be spent else where.
The problem we have is all food in supermarkets are heavily packed with needless packaging, the government should instead of hitting families should be encouraging manufactures to come up with other ways of packing food, take a normal box of cereal? it has a bag inside the box why does it have a box? why can't they toughen the internal bag and put the printing on the bag other food items come in bags so why can't cereal?
All fresh meat come in trays from the supermarket, why can't it just be vacuumed packed? it's just simple ideas which the government should push.
This way when this gentleman like many others do their shopping for their family, they can buy their goods and when they throw things away after they have very little to put in the bin.

If all parties are serious about the environment? for benefit of the planet, and not their pockets. Then they must take this serious? as there are many people who have been let down, and it's it's people like this gentleman we really should be looking after, not just our own interests!

Darling must do road tax U-turn

George Osborne has called on Alistair Darling and Gordon Brown to back down on plans to increase the road tax on family cars.

Low-income households will be hit disproportionately by the increases in Vehicle Excise Duty announced in Darling's last Budget.George, the Shadow Chancellor, stressed, "At a time when families are feeling the rising cost of living, the Government would be foolish to proceed with a big increase in road tax on family cars."

He pointed out that we have consistently opposed Darling's road tax hike, saying:"We believe that any increase in road tax should be focused on the most polluting vehicles and offset by reductions in family taxes so that they are genuine green taxes, not stealth taxes."
