Check out the Real Shiavo Story. There are definately a lot of misconceptions. This is not about Terri's choice at all. In fact, she was denied a choice. They didn't set a cup of water with a straw in front of her while they were slowly killing her of starvation, and tell her that she could just have a drink if she didn't want to die. The so-called "Terri's Choice" to die, was suddenly remembered by her ex-husband seven years after her "accident", when he was the only one with her and oxygen was suddenly cut off from her brain. There was never an investigation into the abuse that Terri suffered at her husband's hand, though her family pleaded for medical records and for investigations, they were ignored.

This was about the government interfering and taking away the power of Terri's family to take her home with them, and provide care for her. This was about an adulterous husband, who was living with another woman for over 10 years and fathering two kids with her, denying Terri any basic therapy, not allowing nurses to even brush her teeth, and taking the hundreds of thousands of dollars that he won in court cases for her therapy being used to fund high powered attorneys to steamroll the parents pro bono lawyer, and legally kill his wife.

This was about killing a poor, innocent woman, sanctioned by the courts, because one person, her ex, and the only person who stands to benefit from her death, wanted her dead. Now, how many of you would want the power of life and death solely in the hands of your spouse, especially if they stood to benefit from a million dollars when you died? Study the facts, the big media are not reporting everything on this, and they are so slanted for death that getting the truth is very hard.

First, Terri Shiavo is not a vegetable, nor is she in a vegetative state. She is aware, and has tried to communicate her will to live. Her parents and her family just want to take her home and care for her. Her abusive husband, who may very well be responsible for her brain damage in the first place, is the only one that wants her dead- he happens to remember her saying that she would not want to be kept alive on “life-support”. She does not need life support. She needs a feeding tube, because her husband would not allow any therapy at all, would not even allow nurses to try to feed her normally. He is also the only one that stands to benefit from her death. This is not about allowing someone to die with dignity, this is about the right of an abusive husband to finish off his wife and gain from it.

Where are the feminist groups? Where is the outrage that something like this could be possible in America?

In my opinion, Jeb Bush should go in with the National Guard and rescue Terri from these idiot judges, and throw the judges in jail to await trial for breaking the law. Terri deserves at least the consideration given to a dog, who no one would allow to starve to death.

If you have any doubts about where abortion leads, just read this story. Ruth Winston Jones is fighting for choice. The choice to keep her baby alive. The doctors feel that they should be the ones that decide when the baby should die, not the parents.

Ruth Winston Jones is not making an unreasonable request. She doesn't want her baby kept alive forever. She just wants the doctors to uphold their oath to save life. She "wants the doctors treating Luke to resuscitate him if he stops breathing, but not to keep him alive artificially".

It is very troubling, knowing the history of pre-Hitler Germany, to see the same errors being made again. The crippled, the lame, the unwanted, the helpless at the mercy of doctors and judges deciding who is human enough to live- we have been here before people, and it ended in millions of Jews being killed, and unknown numbers of Christians being killed.

If we cannot learn from the mistakes of the past, we are doomed to repeat them. Abortion is merely the beginning of the new Holocaust. One day, our ancestors will look back and wonder, why didn't anyone defend the helpless ones? How could they let all those innocent babies die like that? This is a good summary of what the Florida Supreme court just ruled on. They gave the right to a husband to kill his wife. Her name is Terri, and her days are numbered. Her husband wants her dead, and will stop at nothing to make sure he has the right to kill her.

Even though the circumstances are suspect, and no one knows what it was that cut off oxygen to her brain while just her and her husband were alone, the Florida Supreme court has decided that Michael is the one that should decide his wife's fate. Michael is now living with another woman. Has been for years. Has some children by her. He got some big settlements that were supposed to be for Terri's therapy. But why give therapy to someone you want dead?

Michael also won't let the family see her daughter. The family just wants the right to take care of their daughter, their sister. That right has been denied them. The right of Michael to kill his wife over rides the right of the family to care for her.

I am sorry, did I miss something? Are we under Sharia law here? When did we give the right to the husband to decide when his wife should be killed? Hello?

The Florida Supreme court has decided to kill a woman. They have given the right to her husband to kill her, even though she is alert, and expresses concern when told that they might kill her. This is a travesty of justice.

How long will we sit around and let activist judges tell us we must give a psycopath the right to kill his wife, even when he is the only one that will benefit by her death, and her parents have been fighting relentlessly to keep her alive and have the right to take her home and provide the care that she needs? Why should her husband, who is now living with another woman, be the one to decide that Terri should die? They should take him out and put him in stocks and beat him publically for adultary, for withholding care from his wife that may have allowed her to recuperate, for not allowing her parents to even enter to see her at many times.

This case has everything to do with the culture of death that we now face in this country. This is the long slide towards death that so many said for so long that the devaluation of life, especially with abortion, would bring us to. This is the same slide that pre-Hitler Germany took. They started with the deformed, the helpless, much like Terri. Every Jew in the country should stand up and fight for the life of Terri. We must not allow our country to walk the same path of death to the "unwanted". We must not allow history to repeat itself. May God have mercy on us, and on our children.
