3 Hanover Central Wrestlers on Team Indiana

HC was well represented at the prestigious Cadet/Junior National Championships held @ Fargo, ND this week.This year's tournament had 3500 entries from 49 states and Puerto Rico, making it the world's largest wrestling tournament.

HC members of Team Indiana were John Petrov (Cadet 112 lbs) , Brandon Ward (Junior 135 lbs), and Andrew Howe (Junior 152 lbs).Andrew Howe earned All-American status by placing 3rd in the Junior 152 pound weight class.

Lots of major expressways feed into Chicago from NW Indiana. The South Shore Train makes the Chicago Commute much easier with train stops throughout Northern Indiana along Lake Michigan.

Cedar Lake/ Hanover high rates four stars

CEDAR LAKE Facility is only Lake high school getting top distinction.

CEDAR LAKE --Hanover Central High School is the only Lake County high school to be named a Four Star School recently by the state. At the same time, Lincoln Elementary School, also in the Hanover Community School Corporation, claimed the Four Star School distinction from the Indiana Department of Education for the second year running. Some parts of St.John is in hanover township.

I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful our dining experience was at Tyler's Tender on Rt. 30 just west of Cline Ave in Schererville In. The ingenious idea of trains in a Restaurant Setting. My three year old son was amazed at the model trains and the large size train that haul the children on an indoor track. Desert was extra special as a train delivered it to us. Very neat. The 17th Annual "Celebrate Schererville" Festival and Parade will be held June 20-24, 2007 at Redar Park. Redar Park is located a few blocks North of Route 30 on Austin Ave. Lot of fun things will be going on such as live bands every night, carnival, beer garden and much more.
