A true Humble People

I have noticed that real people with money are so down-to-earth, humble for short. I know some that are not so noticeable but the fact is they are loaded and yet they don't have to tell the whole world whereas the people who have little are the one who mostly brag, like myself for instance, lol. I think part of it is I appreciate every little things I have. But I don't brag too much too. Bragging can sometimes be used in a nice way but has to be consider the lemitations too.

Anyway, I have a friend over here who has a brother that lived in America for 17 years already. They came to visit her last week and went shopping to Harrods and Sloanne Square in London. And were too shock how easy for them to spend money in buying signature bags in just a matter of minutes. I was like "WOW" is that too simple for them? Goodness me! Louis Vuitton! OMG! It cost £2000 plus and they actually bought two. According to the husband's they are like that every year. It's one of their collection or hobby to buy at least 3 to 5 pair of signature handbags a year. How nice! Don't you think so? Well, they are only pure filipino but has been expose to fashion industry since they were only in their mother's womb as they own a popular boutique back in Philippines.

So, for them branded stuff are only ordinary things. But I can't really tell because they are are too simple people and not much of a brag. Imagine, their children's clothing are mostly Burberry, Channel, Prada and many other big brands in world. Whew! Make me shivers all day to think that buying a £2K plus handbags is just as easy as buying a tin of sardines. I wonder when I can do that without waiting a big clearance sale. [LAUGH]

I should be Skiing

Hubby's family has been a big fan of skiing. There is never a year that they don't go skiing holidays much more when we are just so close to the top skiing destinations in the world. They been to most places for ski already such as in Switzerland, Austria, USA and a lot more. But as far as I know, nothing really beats France. So, it would be the first location I would really want to if ever I go for skiing. Hubby also grew up going to France to Ski with his family. Its their usual destination besides Switzerland. So, he is keen to bring us there one day. Ski Holidays France is just great. No wonder there are many tourist go Ski there. For sure it's one of the best SKI location in the world. I would not be surprised if it attracts many people. This winter, my in-laws are pretty much booked already for their Skiing holidays. I dont know when will be ours but for sure it's going to be fun and exciting. Imagine, it'll be my first skiing ever. I should go for it, shouldn't I? My husband reckons that I will love it. I am really too excited for it. Can't wait for the day to come!

I was in Total Awe

when my son asked after passing by in a particular house on the way to school. Every time we sent the big sister to school we always noticed this big sunflower tree. Since the back to school this sunflower has been continue flowering and grown really big ones which is so beautifully noticeable to every people who passed by that house, like us for instance. My son always pay attention everyday to that sunflower tree and admires it a lot.

Today, I haven't even notice that the sunflower tree was gone until my son made a noise that where was the flower gone? I was really amazed how much she pays attention to it. Gosh, I really was in total awe of my son's ability to remember things. It just so nice you know that your baby is learning a lot things and also has a good memory too. How amazing!

Last Saturday before I went out to party I had chatted to a friend of mine who just come here for a visit in England. She only got few weeks more and she'll be flying to New York. She is married to English Guy but they are based in the Philippines where their business are. Every year they always go travel to at least 3 to 4 countries. And this year they're going to hit New York and that I suggested that a Newark Airport Shuttle could be a great use for them. They had to since it will be their first time to visit the state. They have at least someone they can trust in touring to places in New York. Plus, they could pick them up from the airport and even used it the whole time of their New York stay. They were so glad for my recommendation because that is exactly what they are worried about on how to get a better deal in regard of New York tour transport. I told them they could actually visit the website for further details. As a thank you gift they gave me a some bead bracelets. Love it and they even said that they will send me something from New York. Oooh, how wonderful to have a true friend, really.

Latest Scraps

I bought so many digital scrapping kits but I just realised I haven't had use them since so, I decided to just do some layout so it wouldn't be wasted at all. I am just pretty much hooked up to my photography these days. My time is just not enough to do all the things at once. I hope I get settled soon as my sister is here. Anyway, here are some scraps I made few days ago in my notebook. Only got time to share them here since my notebook IC is not really working at the moment. Not quite sure why, but hubby is still trying to fix it right now. Hope it'll work soon because I can't stand the cold office of the hubby anymore. Gosh, my hands are freaking cold. It's frozen!

Busy Month

Starting this month I'll be a very busy bee. My Boss just asked me for OT every Sunday and I pretty much booked already this month and surely will be more OT coming by next month. I know it'll be more money but also I have to sometimes think that my family always come first. Hubby already made some noise about it and I told him I will only do some OT until after Christmas then after that I should take some time off. Today, I have working all day and boy how busy the store was. I even managed to upset my last customer. Imagine, she walked out the door and left her trolley full of shopping because I told her that I can't take her anymore since I am already 20 minutes over and I won't get paid with that since my contract hours is only up to 4:15 pm. Ooh, she was complaining and that she walked out and left her shopping in front of my till. How terrible I felt after. I felt so guilty I was mean.

Anyway, I have to go now or hubby won't be a happy bear. We plan to watch movie together with the kids before bedtime but I shall check Manolo Blahnik before I completely log off. Alright, see you tomorrow guys.

Lovely Blue Eyes

Take a look at this little girl, isn't she have a pair of beautiful blue eyes? Yes, she certainly have! She is a friend's daughter in America. I was surprised to see how lovely she is and how fair her skin too. She is one gorgeous FIL-AM for sure. I told my friend that her daughter and my son can be an item, so we made a deal. Hehehehehe, ooh she is soooo pretty.

Bus Charter NYC

In a year time me and my family are going for a few weeks trip to USA. Many states we are planning to visit and one of them is New York City. I know I wanted to see the Statue of Liberty and I am pretty sure we can get less in our transport as there is a Bus Charter NYC for group tours. It can be any occasion or any size and it's good to go. It would be also much merrier too. I can't really wait and I'm already getting anxious about it. Hopefully, everything goes well with our plan.

Also, will visit Florida, Michigan, Las Vegas and few other states depending our time and also our budget. But New York is our priority as we are going to see some family out there. Wish we can also visit Cancun Mexico but its unlikely since it further out than our priority list of places to visit. Well, I bet we'll enjoy New York and of course the Charter Bus were going to take for tours. That will be an exciting day and fairly sure an eventful one. Too glad, there is always a cheaper way to go New York City tours and it is truly a big help of everyone's budget.

I am proud I have a job

All my friends had tried applying for a job in the place where I work but none of them got hired. I don't really know why. They even told its hard to get a job in where I work. They tried not only once, twice, thrice but many many times and still not successful. So, I am so proud that I only applied once then I got hired after I passed my interview. Not that difficult though only personal questions mostly. Many I know that was not happy when they got rejected but hell no what they exactly look for a staff. Not that complicated job only customer service and blah, blah...... I think I just got lucky.

Ooh, by the way, if you guys are looking for a high limit credit card then you should try checking smart credit choices now.

My Smart Daughter

When I picked up my daughter today from school I was so proud when she handed me her sticker that she got from her teacher. BRILLIANT! That is the word CAPITAL WORD written on the sticker. I asked her what she done this time. She said she volunteer to discuss about Gravity and she did it all perfectly that she got double thumps up from both of her teacher. My daughter always amazed me, really. I am so proud of her because she is not only beautiful but also a brainy one.

Just like last night after our dinner we decided to watch a movie and that movie was "EVAN ALMIGHTY". I'm sure you all heard about it. It's playing up the story of NOAH, building an ARK. She has explained us about it and the Dove with it's Olive leaves and what does it means. Knowing that we don't really talk or read her bible story that often. And how could she remembered it all? If I remembered rightly, the last time she had a bible story was about 4 years ago. Only show that she is a smart little girl, no doubt.

Weekend Snapshot

One good thing about having the garden is, you can just spend your weekend without going out somewhere and spend a lot of money just to enjoy. Some weekend we go out and do some fun things but there are times that we are not up for outing and instead we opt to just stay and chill in the comfort of our own home. However, it may not be long from now that the garden is not a good place to chill since the weather has dramatically changed. Now that is getting cold already we can't stay outside for longer hours anymore.

Monday is here

It's school time again and my daughter has gone to school already on time. Hooray! So far were doing good and I am so happy that I am able to limit my computer usage these days and prioritised the most important matters first like my kids and the housework. Today, I hope I can do some cleaning before going off to work.

Anyway, our weekend was so eventful and successful. We went out shopping for dress wear in the ball party this coming Friday. Instead of buying the black halter neck dress at COAST I bought 2 semi-formal dresses at Jane Norman. Also bought some trainer shoes for my box and some summer clothes that are on sale. It will be a good use in Philippines since they only have 2 season.

Last night, I did some digging out to out closet and I was surprised how much stuff I have to send to my box that are no longer in used or already outgrown by my kids. So, that sure help to filled my box quickly.

Ooops....time is up. Now, I have to log off but beforehand let me just tell you how happy I am to finally overcome the irritating acne on my face and lately after applying some acne treatment I noticed the changes where my spots are slightly fading away. Now, I really feel good and are excited for the coming event this Friday and once again I can feel beautiful without pimples in my face.

Pimples, Pimples, Pimples!

I don't know what to do anymore but seems these pimples of mine would not go away. It popped out just few months ago and I thought it would go away after my period as it usually do but now it has been there for so long and I am starting to get annoyed with it. It is not a lot but already enough to annoyed me as I am not used on having spots on my face. I am not saying I have the most smooth face but at least I don't get problem of pimples. But here is couple on my face just won't go away. Hubby said, I have to leave it and perhaps apply some acne treatment on it and see what happen. I should listen to him months ago but because I am being stubborn this is what I get, spots on my face. Though not so big that you can even hardly see it. I don't know why I am fussing so much. I guess it's not a big deal. There is this acne treatment that I can always apply to make my few spots go away. Let me just put it on now...........see ya!

Simple Family Time

I love being on the camera as much as I love taking pictures. Gladly, I had a husband who is very supportive and who takes care of me so well. Last weekend we just stayed at home and had a barbecue in the garden. The kids had so much fun as always and me taking pictures and of course striking a pose too. It was a simple family time yet so fun and full of love. There is no need to always spend money just to enjoy the weekend. There is nothing like home where your heart is. Being with family is more than a Gran treat. Anyway, here's some hubby's shot....some photos are on my other cam. Will surely share it soon as I finish downloading them.

Half-term Break

Half-term break is only a month away. It means my daughter will have at least a 2 weeks holiday. We have a plan to go EURO-Disney but we haven't book any ticket yet plus our suit case just got broken after my son was playing with it. I think we have to buy a replace. Samsonite is the best among all brands. We always have been a big Samsonite fan. Their suitcases are just so durable and will surely last longer than any other brands. Okay, by tomorrow we will go to the agency and will buy our tickets then go shopping after to buy the Samsonite suit case.

My Sweet Kids

I was downstairs in the kitchen while the kids were upstairs watching television and playing. When I went upstairs this is what I saw....my kids was sweetly watching the television together and there I was quickly grabbed my camera and captured the best moment. I'm so proud of them both despite of their fights they still love each other. That is what brothers and sisters are for.........

I am quite sleepy already now my eyes keep shutting while I am typing here and it ain't that late yet, only that I am used to sleep earlier these days. Since the school start I set my time to go have an early bedtime between 9-10pm. At least I could still have over 8 hours of sleep every night. Hubby just rang and will be later than he thought once again just so he could stay work at home tomorrow and be able to babysit the kids. So, I guess I shall go to bed and not wait him. Already looked at some gift baskets to send out next couple days for my friends 30th birthday party. We can't attend because they live far north and it takes like 7 hours drive to get there. So sending out gift is the best option.

Anyway, been playing my CS3 again tonight while waiting for hubby and here I come out some artistic edition again. Love the comic touched in this pic of my husband reading bedtime story to the kids. They look so sweet together.........

Awesome September

I'm lovin' this month simply because it has more sunny days than August. Though I can already feel the cold temperature but I am just happy that Mister Sunshine is almost up everyday. It simply brightens me whenever there is Sunshine. Weather affects my mode and it quickly swing from good to bad and then worst (scary grumps).

Anyway, change topic here, I been to the market last weekend and was looking for baby bedding to send out to Philippines for my sisters coming baby. I have already bought few outfits, blankets, and other baby stuff but she recently requested just few weeks ago about baby bedding. I guess I'll have to try at baby bedding market online.

When I first came here in England was 2003 and I first met my husband's niece and newphew. Then, the second time around was when we moved here for good and that was 2005. I then met this cute fella the youngest of the three kids of hubby's big bro. He was so cute and cuddly with his chunky pinkish cheek and curly blonde hair. Basta, I find him so cute that I even make a wish to have a baby like him, lol. He is my daughter's age and they are best playmates aside from being cousins.

We're Gettin' Better

My Kath is now at year 2 and she shows loads of improvement for the first few weeks being at school. Her reading is so much better as well as her writings especially in script. She can now make some paragraphs and can count 1-150. She wowed her teacher and hopefully she will keep her outstanding performance at school. So far she got 7 stickers and I kept it on her year 2 diary book. I am trying to be more organised this year. Last night I read her 2 bedtime story together with the little one. They seems to like books and wanted me to read more than 3 books in a night. Kath is still attending ballet classes and is very happy about it. As of being on time to school, so far so good. No late marked yet. I hope there won't be any at all. Finger cross!

Anyway, she had her school Solo photos sent today and I am going to order many copies for my parents request few already, lol. Her school pic look exactly like this photo.......same face expression and smile, hehehe. Her signature pic pose, I guess.

I love this week photohunt. It such a good theme for me because I can share our trip back home from our summer break few weeks ago. Road wasn't looking too good. Bare in mind we left mid day and arrive at nearly 8pm.

An hour after we left Devon, the hell of our trip begin on this road. We were hoping it might cleared further on........

But looking at this photo? The traffic is getting even more solid. See the long queue? My gosh, how can we get home on time? We are supposed to have dinner with my in-laws. Never seen such bad traffic like this before.

I thought we were the last one in the queue but this picture prove me wrong, lol. Long it's longer than the front one, hahahaha. Solid as rock! Kids are getting bored already. Their DVD player didn't entertain them anymore and getting hungry as well. Nowhere to stop!

It's already 7pm but traffic hasn't gone yet (at M25). Can you Imagine that? We been on the road for more than 5 hours? Usually, it only takes 2 to 3 hours drive from Devon back to Surrey but I guess we are just so unlucky this day. It was like the end of school holiday and everyone was trying get back before Monday.

Happy Weekend

Soooo...happy here because it's finally weekend! The days where I can spend time with my family without worrying waking up early in the morning. Anyhow, I am setting here in hubby's office cold and freezing. My hands (while typing) are harden and can hardly bend, lol. But I like using hubby's PC as it is faster than mine. It is 8:42 (Saturday) in the morning here and yet I get up early because I also slept early last night. I had a good 10 hours sleep at least which I think is very good for me. I really feel happy and energetic today.

For the mean time, we have no plan yet but seems the sun is shining with a blue sky. September seems producing a very good weather so far though not as warm as summer but at least it gives me reason to smile. It always start very cold in the morning but it will eventually warm up. I will see how it goes and maybe I suggest to hubby that we should hit to the beach so the kids can enjoy and play the sand. My Work Days

Expect me to be busy every Monday and Friday. Why? Because these are the days that I am out working. I have been working for over a year now as a checkout assistant (not earning very much but earning enough to support my hobbies which is shopping, lol). Not that my husband doesn't provide me when that matter but I just love having my own means too. Besides I enjoy my job and I make friends to many different people that come from different countries. So, every Monday is my stressful day because sometimes I had trouble finding a babysitter. I had a regular one but now that she has a job already she can't do it anymore. So I might speak to my manager regarding of an alternative way like changing my contract hours or contract days. I don't live giving up my job as it serve as my work experienced in the main future. When my babies are both grown up I can always find another job or work as a full time. It would be then easier for me to find another job as I already experienced. So, there are many reasons why I am currently working as a part time, not only for money but also to build my self confidence as well.

Acne Healer

Ooh bummer! I've got few spots on my face today and I don't like it. I seldom get spot only when I am lack of sleep or eating nuts. Sometimes I even sqeeze it just to stop it growing because I so hate having spots. I think my skin is easy to get irritations. The good things is, I have stocked an acne treatments in our cupboard so I can just use it whenever Mister spotty come around. It sure works for me because just two or maybe thrice I apply it onto my face the spots will gradually vanished. So, it is good to have an acne treatment that really works. If your curious then you should give it a try too.
