The song was first released as an accoustic version as the single of the week on iTunes. After the huge appeal, Colbie has reintroduced the song with slightly different lyrics and a beat using drums. The song stayed number 5 for three consecutive weeks on the US charts.

- FINGER ELEVEN : PARALYZER from album "THEM VS YOU VS ME"
The alternative rock band has introduced a different spirit of music through the dance rock song "Paralyzer". The song was almost contiuasly played on radio station in the U.S and the UK. It also reached number one in the modern rock charts globally. The radio edit of the song stayed on the billboard top 100 for 2 weeks.

- RIHANNA : HATE THAT I LOVE YOU from album "GOOD GIRL GONE BAD"
The song features the R&B singer NE-YO, and just like the "Unfaithful" song success, this one has also showed how those two singer make good music. The song reached number 15 on charts in the UK. the album contains many other songs that were alternatively entering the charts in Austrailia and the U.S.

- CHRIS BROWN : WITH YOU from album "EXCLUSIVE"
This is the third single released from this album for Chris Brown. It stayed for three consecutive weeks on the World Chart Show, and reached number 4 in the New Zeland Official radio. The video of the song was also a major hit through the world, were it reached one of the most downloaded track on the net. The song was followed by another release from the same album, "Kiss Kiss" which had a better impact on Brown's album sales.

SHERYL CROW : DETOURS (2008)
The 9 times Grammy-Award winner is to release the sixth album in February 2008. Some of the tracks include political issues like Fuel prices (in the song GASOLINE) and others discuss freedom of choice and will and materialism. On Sheryl's official website she stated that she's so excited to release such an album which she believes will inspire many. The album includes 13 tracks chosen from 24 ones that were recorded. Although the album "Wild Hope" was scheduled to be released on the 19th of June, 2007 the date has been forwarded for unknown reasons. Critics have been positive towards the album so far, and the single EXTRAORDINARY has been a success too and will be in the soundtrack album for the film "Georgia Rule". This Summer is full of new songs, and because we can't include all of them into our list, we will just put the best 25 songs starting with the position 25th and ending with the first.

It's very confusing to decide who's best, better, or good this summer, it seems that almost everybody likes almost everything, and because of that we tried our best to be as close as possible to the true state of every song through collecting many charts and concluding from them:

We also make our own chart, it is on some other website, but since there is no such thing as a CORRECT chart, we put a mix here by analyzing what songs appear most, on many other charts, taking into account more than the statistics from our charts website, and also a bit of our oppinion, so here you go, something that looks like a chart, but is not a chart, that you can consider a chart !

25 - BEATFREAKZ : SOMEBODY'S WATCHING ME, this is a new band actually, but the song seems to make them well known, although many ppl know the song's title only.

24 - NE-YO : SEXY LOVE, the song that is from the same album of the hit "so sick". Some charts don't have this song yet, but it is one of the best of July, and we expect that it will be included soon

23 - RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS : TELL ME BABY, after "Dani California" people started to request this song on radio stations. The double-cd album has more than one hit song as the band officially announced.

22 - BEYONCE KNOWLES : DEJA VU, the song features the very famous Jay-Z, and it is a well done combination of music and voices.

17 - MARY J. BLIGE : ONE (FEAT. U2), after it was number one a month ago, now it drops down to 17, to be holding on into the music market for so long.

16 - PINK : WHO KNEW, after "stupid girls" dropped out form the top 25 songs, Pink renteres the list with a new song from the same 2006 album "i'm not dead"

15 - TOBIAS REGNER : I STILL BURN, is a very nice song from this artist's first album.. some of them make it from the first try :P

14 - NELLY FURTADO : MANEATER, the "loose" album is exactly what her fans expected, and it's been on the list for 2 weeks now.

13 - CHICANE : STONED IN LOVE (FEAT. TOM JONES). Jones has added to this songs much, but that doesnt mean that Chicane is not talented.

12 - PET SHOP BOYS : I'M WITH STUPID, a song that proved that even the 80's artists can have their place in the 2000's music charts. ;) specially when they still sing with the same soul they used to sing with since they started.

11 - COLDPLAY : The Hardest Part, this band has been into radio stations and world wide charts since like forever now

10 - YOUNG DRO : SHOULDER LEAN (FEAT. T.I.), released as a single and as his first song, it made a very good reputation for this artist that promised his fans through interviews that he will be working on his first album soon

9 - E-40 : U AND DAT, the song features T-PAIN & KANDI GIRL.

8 - KELIS : BOSSY (FEAT. TOO $HORT), it is this week that Bossy enters the top ten songs, after it was in the charts for 4 weeks now.

7 - CASSIE : ME & U, the remix of this song that features Ray J is expected to be as famous as the original song

6 - DEM FRANCHIZE BOYZ : RIDIN' RIMS, this won't be the only song from their 2006 album that will make it through the 25 top songs, cause soon there will be more

5 - JAMIE FOXX : DJ PLAY A LOVE SONG, album "unpredictable" was somewhat successful and when this song reached number 2 on the charts, We thought that it will hit number one, but as you see it dropped to the 5th position.

4 - BUSTA RHYMES : I LOVE MY BITCH (FEAT. KELIS), the song came to be into the charts just after TOUCH IT was followed by "touch it remix" and it seems that it also followed it with the same amount of success..

It has been some time since I last blogged here or anywhere, but here I m again...

First off. 2006 has unveiled allot of what I was telling u about.

Now since I already told you about the hot ones that came out with the beginning of the year like DANI CALIFORNIA and STUPID GIRLS , this summer there is allot more music than the massive albums of RHCP and PINK, although I must admit I like them most !

Maybe the number one surprise is ONE (FEAT. U2) how can it be featuring the original artist, I think it should have been done by U2 (the original composer and performer of one) featuring Mary G blige... I like this one, but it is the bono part I like most !

Shakira's English version of her album comes with the hit song HIPS DON'T LIE, although mostly known for her Arabic dancing (What she did was partially belly dancing), this time it is more Spanish ( the dancing I mean, the words are in English ) except for some Spanish part saying what's your name beautiful ?

Depeche mode has a nice one 2, check out SUFFER WELL, and placibo's SONG TO SAY GOODBYE

James blunt seems to have a nice one 2, WISEMEN...

Sean Paul didn't have to come out with a new album to stay on the charts, the guy is EVER BLAZIN', you can probably imagine the TEMPERATURE his album was baked on...

YOU HAVE KILLED ME by MORRISSEY is also a hit of 2006, it has been sticking to the charts like glue this last month !

ColdPlay is still on the charts, I wonder if they will go out before they have there new album, don't get me wrong, I love there music, I was just wondering :P anyway, they are in with THE HARDEST PART.

The album (already out) Pink is still consistent and same old pink, the one thats a hazard to herself..., i assure you she is no hazzard to us, She really expresses herself well in this album

She said somewhere that this album is her most personal, and the album is truely nice, This album is one you should consider buying (if you are more used to downloading em, well, download the album, im not here to fix the world)

In the album, she makes her political opinion heard (check out dear mr president), she also talks about REAL social issues, etc... but without messing all the fun !

Anyway, now you know that pink is not dead, in fact she is so alive, so check this out

Ok, i now know about 2 BIG names releasing albums this summer, PINK and Red Hot Chili Peppers !

So, PINK has not overcommed her attitude problems yet, maybe they are not problems at all... maybe it is whats needed, i buy her albums to see that attitude problem in action!

I am talking about this because pink said this is her most personal to date. i think they are all personal, reading a bit about pink you just have to come to this conclusion

Anyway pink drives me crazy, im not sure why, but maybe Its the alternating between the good girl and the bad girl that drives me nuts, the good girl gives you the taste of forbidden, the bad girl gives you a peek into whats inside, well i dont know its really hard to find out whats so cool about pink.

Anyway, the music is good, lets forget about the complicated psychology stuff, and try to get the album... it should be out april or may

The ever bizarre RHCP are releasing a new album this summer, it has the title STADIUM ARCADIUM (Now this name is bizarre), oh well, just like all the others.
They have that tendancy to strange names

There is pleanty in this one, so now we know what they have been doing for so long !

By the way, they are not in Album Order, they are not in alphabettically ordered, they are ordered by the length of the name, why, No reason really... maybe it looks better

For some time, i have been working on ways to compile accurate charts, to my surprise it was not a cheap thing, it takes time and money to compile every chart, and yes, allot of money.

Anyway, we started a new website for that lyrics-charts.com and we are working on it, we are looking for the sources for compilation, and that is why we still do not have the latest 3 charts, but we are going back to it in a weeks time, anyway, if you have a source for statistics on the matter, Please leave it in a comment on the blog.

Hello Everyone

So, eventually 2 ppl who have access to the lyricsandsongs website compiled there own charts, one is at The Lyrics Blog, and the other at Lyrics And Songs BLOG....

Some differences in the results, the first having only used the search term stats as a suplimentary data, and the second having filtered it, to me, i think they are both FAR FROM REALITY.

MARIAH CAREY - DON'T FORGET ABOUT US. seems to be the first in both... so i recon it may be true that mimi is still there, emancipated but alive

Sean Paul We Be Burnin' is number 4 on the first and number 8 on the second, but thats a good song i guarentee.

The Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu (stick with you) is number 6 on the first, and 3 on the second, That is also a nice song, so it sounds like logic.

either way, i am sure the stats will get more accurate with time, For now, if i were you, i would get the songs and listen to them, that are all cool

JON BON JOVI, Yet another album

Bon jovi is comming out with a new album very soon, ironic we have most the lyrics to the songs, we don't know the albums name !

The New Bon Jovi album is expected to be out very soon on SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 in Japan and on the 19th for everyone else, Still the album's name is unknown (we don't know it)

Anyway, as soon as it has a name i will be updating this, Check out the lyrics to most of the songs (click the title of this post)

The first single is HAVE A NICE DAY, The song was written by JON BON JOVI, RICHIE SAMBORA and JOHN SHANKS, produced by JOHN SHANKS, JON BON JOVI and RICHIE SAMBORA, mixed by JEREMY WHEATLEY.
The WORLDWIDE RADIO DATE is slated as JULY 18th.
No VIDEO yet but it is being planned.
