This is almost the last one swap that I participation, I take a break with swaps meanwhile.

The summer is here and the idea was to create sunglasses case to take out from your bag a beautiful case, not the regular one from optic store. So I decide to use my embellisher, and here we are.

Textile Bowl

I created this bowl after I receive a Hebrew song as a muse.

I want to create that kind of bowl a long time ago and I found it appropriate to the feeling of that song. I catch separate word and put them together in this bowl.

I need to create something for kitchen useful swap, but kitchen for me is only place to warm food or drink something or bring foods to my animals.

In this swap my partner kitchen and sewing room in one place...So I decide to create something with double useful. She can use it as utensil holder or just put threads inside, what ever she wants.

CD Coaster

A while ago I receive a ton of used cd, after I did A Luna Park Carousel. How many carousels can I do?

So I found CD Coasters Tutorial in the net. I tried once, it was nice, but it's not my taste, I give it another chance, and I change little bit the design. I love the one with solid color and pattern dot. What do you prefer?

Five Materials swap #2

At last in finally finished to create with those materials, as I wrote in previous post.

I decided to create a bookmark with my embellisher. I take some samples from rest of the fabrics and take some wool from my stash and here is it.

I host a swap in my country. This swap we call him in nickname Five Material Swap. The meaning is that you choose five materials and send him to your partner, your partner create something with that materials and send you back.

So I receive assorted materials, I choose part of them; one sock, one bias tape, 2 kinds of fabric, buttons and washers, and created a doorstop and planet to create one more thing in few days.

Recycle Bracelet

In few months ago, my friend gives me a box full of foundation of handles in bus. I didn't know what I can do with that. I try to use them in one swap and that's it.

Lately I host recycle swap in flickr group, and decided to use them for this swap. I saw pop top bracelet tutorial and the pop top look like that foundation, so why not try it with that material?

Weaving paper

I saw Los Ojos flickr and this photo catch my eyes. So I decided to try weaving a paper. I found how to do that in that link a while ago. And yesterday I start to do that.

I take ephemera card, size as visiting card, and start to cut & fold, and play with some combinations. And finally I glue on paper scrap background . Other side I put magnet, so you can use it as fridge magnet.

A Luna Park Carousel

I like recycling, I like to use what you have (I had a huge stash). So I decided to host Recycled CD swap in swap bot.

I knew that I need to create two items, because someone is flaker. So I decide to create a Luna park carousel.

I use two original CD (not burn), stash items from flea market, buttons, beads, acrylic color and ribbon. The main pivot created by friend from his stash.

Domino Book

I participation in Altered Dominos & Other Altered Game Pieces group at flikr. And there is a swap Summertime Fun of Altered Domino Book.

I decided to take the fun, the freedom and the rest of this theme. The sun is shining, the bout is sailing, the flower is flourishing, there is love on the air, so why not doing a picnic near the lake?

I used my embellisher with some fabric scrap, beads, embroidery and charms.

It is about 11" x 3" ( 28 cm x 7.6 cm).

Bouquet of Anemones

I create this brooch as a birthday present to my aunt. She like green so much so she can jump into it...

So, after internal conflict, I decided to create a brooch by my embellisher. I play with some materials to create combination of textures, and the result look like bouquet of anemones .

It is about 3.5" x 3" (8.9 x 7.6 cm).

Felted Bookmark

I need to create handmade item for a swap. The instruction was to use the colors brown, beige and gray color palette, with some sea foam green and pale blue thrown in. Think driftwood and sea glass, bleached seashells and warm sandy beaches....

So, I thought to create a bookmark (the receiver collect them), with some of the color. I used Marino felt, curling wool and yo-yo fabric. And this is the result, what do you think?

It is about 10.5" x 3" (26.7 x 7.6 cm).

Simple Tote

This is the second time that I sew a bag. I like to work with variants of fabric, not only cotton. The synthetic fabric (the colorize fabric) had shining that I like.

I created for the swap, so I need to use deep red, turquoise blue, royal purple, emerald green, and gold. I keep the gold to other items that I will send.

I take the inspiration from the book bend the rules sewing.

It is about 8.3" x 4.5" (21 x 23.6 cm).

Cat Chain

My old love is to create chain with variants of beads. Sometimes what is my hand catch or sometimes like that one, I plan in general how it is look like.
