We celebrate the physical manifestation of misfired communications, broken language and broadcast interference. We champion delay and decay. We champion audio bleed, field recordings and the deconstructed surface noise of altered vinyl recordings. We herald cyclical repetitions and misappropriated realignments. Through aggressive enlargement and recontextualization of the mundane and every-day, BLK w/ BEAR hopes to usher listeners and viewers into a deeper introspective relationship with previously familiar – now unstable – environs.</span><br /></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-family:verdana;">Contact: </span><a href="http://artbear.com/" target="_blank"><span style="font-family:verdana;">BLK w/BEAR website</span></a><span style="font-family:verdana;"> and <a href="http://myspace.com/blkwbear" target="_blank">myspace</a>. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To find out more about how this version was created, go </span><a href="http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-OKXuBFswabKPDPMlY8n_?p=145" target="_blank">here</a>.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);font-family:georgia;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >Credits: Watson, Adams, Poplin, Sexton.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);font-family:georgia;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >Pink Noise Studios, Takoma Park Maryland USA</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);font-family:georgia;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >Richard Morel - recording engineer<br /></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">BLK w/BEAR would like to thank: </span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">RA Langlotz, Justin + Helen Watson, Tim Odom, Wilcox-Gay Recordio Discs, PJ Gallagher.</span> <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);font-family:courier new;"><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Artwork is again by the ever wonderful Chris Baldwin.</span> </span><br /></p>LDWR HQnoreply@blogger.com
