*a culinary masterpiece for the flu*

make the tea mix::
entire bottle of tang
3/4 cup instant tea mix
2 small envelopes of instant lemonade
4 tbsp cinnamon
3 tbsp cloves
1 1/2 cup sugar

mix together in large bowl. Store in air tight container. Add 3 or 4 tbsp to your mug before filling with hot water.

When I am sick, I like my tea strong....I use 4 to 6 tbsp in my mug with hot water.

I couldn't sleep this morning, so I woke up and made this new rag wreath...

I used a 9" heart shaped wreath form.

The fabric strips are a variety of designer fabrics and I had cut them down using scallop and zigzag edges...

The bow and hanger is made from 1.5" wide hot pink polka dot grosgrain ribbon!

Preppy Home: new rag wreaths & a little help from Rachel

The best way to do something is to collaborate...well, *sometimes* and I'm thrilled to have worked a few months ago with a fellow craftswoman, thinkoutsidethebox2008, a.k.a. Rachel:)

Rachel took a look at my flickr feed one day and developed a whole slew of hearts and birds for me in some of my favorite color combinations. I finally have added them to some rag wreaths and here is the result....I'm thrilled with how they have come together:)

Thanks so much, Rachel and if you have time, check out her flickr feed...she has a lovely time photographing her own creations as well as her wild birds and animals--it'll make you chuckle:)
