I took my fisrt born to have his senior pictures made and did very well with it. I am excited that he is graduating, but I have also learned that the very joy that seeing your children as they are growing up, is also one of the most painful experiences you will ever feel in your heart emotionally, when you realize that you have only a very few months and then they will be moving on to start thier life. You're given a phone number to call. A recording answers stating that no one is available to assist you. You're told to leave a message. You follow the instructions and they never return your call. The difference since then is that sometimes, I'm okay with my judgement of others. So maybe the little girl in my daughter's class is nice, smart, funny and cute. But I don't like her tattooed, baggy pants dad with his multiple piercings and his two-pronged braided goatee. I just don't really want to mingle with him so I really am hoping that my daughter doesn't make that girl her new best friend for life. Call me awful, call me a b(*#h, call me normal -- I don't care. I just know I don't want to have to pretend it's okay when it's not. So I keep asking my daughter how the nice girl with the nice looking family is. For all I know, they could be awful people. But at least they looked like I could relate to them. <BR/><BR/>Some of those books looked like they might have some self help in the titles.
