Today I saw one of...Funny thing about perspective. Today I saw one of our students get hauled off in handcuffs while making his gang sign for threatening another teacher. Then later I had to stop a fight between two kids; I ended up holding back the one who was bleeding from the mouth. <BR/><BR/>Since tonight was open house, I also got to talk to the parent of another kid who is in a gang, but this time I got to tell her how well he is doing in my class, how he is improving and how all the teachers have faith in him.<BR/><BR/>It may not be obvious why, but I love my job, too.
