I thought we would have a change from stamping and colouring this week so I choose this Bird Punch from McGill. These has been very popular along with the cupcake punch. I thought it would also look good as a wedding card in maybe pink and white. Maybe I will give that a go at the weekend.

Apron Card Class at CUL

Here are the cards we made in class yesterday. These aprons are quick and easy to make, from just one piece of 12 x 12 Bazzill card. On the cupcake apron, we used Magenta papers. The cupcake stamp and sentiment are from Hero Arts. For the DIY aprom, we paper pieced the peel-off tools. The kitchen utencils are QK dies and the pearls are Kaisercraft. String and cardboard for the ruler were from stash. All products including the Apron Stencil (£5.99), can be brought from the shop website/shop.

Here is the create & take for tomorrow. I have used the new MME Pretty Please paper range with matching Bazzill cardstock, the Retro Flower Punch and Threading Water Punch. I have inked all the edges of paper with Rhubarb Momento Ink pad and finished it off with a button & sentiment.

Still problems with my computer, I will try and upload tomorrow.

Create & Take Problems

We had a busy day at the shop with this weeks Anya Create & Take. I have fallen in love with these little cuties and so has everyone else! I apologize for my colouring in with the copics as it was my first attempt. I really need to book myself on to Kim Fee's colouring classes but there is never any space!

Well I was going to upload the cards but my computer has decided to have a fit and not let me upload anything!!!! Now the cards are at the shop so I will ask Tracy or Heidi to put the cards on tomorrow - Sorry!

Here are 2 stunning cards from the very talented Jane Gill. She made them for us on her classes last weekend. The black and white flower is made from a dress punch and the pink flower is made from the cherry flower punch.The ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves and absolutely loved the cards!

Here are todays Create & Take cards. They have not come out very well on the scanner. The colours are more pastel in pinks & greens and they are all on white card. I love the simplicity of these cards and also find that Jane Gill's Script Stamp Set compliments them beautifuly. I have used parts of the the Imaginisce Wild Flower Stamp, the 1.5" scallop square punch and Jane Gill's Script Stamp Set.

I hope you are all enjoying the sun this Bank Holiday weekend. Here are the cards from Kim Fee's classes on Saturday. Kim used cuttlebug embossing dies and her own templates to create these card effects. The last card was made with the Flower Impressabitlity die. Kim used a brayer to ink over the template and put it through the cuttlebug to create the effect. The paper range she used was the Bloom & Grow from MME and the stamps are Penny Black Micey Day!

This is something a little different this week and something that I haven't done for a long time. I thought I would try some embossing with X-Cut Stencils which we have in the sale. I am quite pleased how they come out and particularly like the flowery ones. I also made a flower with the scallop circle punch which Stamping Caz showed us how to do on one of her classes.

Here is yesterdays Create & Take card. We used the High Heels Hero Art Stamp Set & the Martha Stewart Layering Daisy Punch for the flower. On the other sample card, we embossed the shoe with clear embossing powder & used some crystals for the bling.

A little Birdie Told me....

This cute card was made for us by one of our customers, Ruth Bates. She had used the 'Hello Birdie' stamp set from Hero Arts with lovely pinks & brown tones. This is definately one I will have to copy, thanks Ruth for the idea!

Dont forget that Paula is demonstrating at Crafts U Love tomorrow from 10am. There has been a slight change of plan, she is now demonstrating Nesties instead of Basic Grey. But the good news is that in store tomorrow the Nesties will be £3 off, so we hope to see you there!

On this weeks Create & Take I have used the Woodware Stamp Set, "Mary & Friends" This is a great stamp set which has 3 main images and lots of sentiments. I have used the 'with love' sentiment on a piece of Bazzill cut out with a 1 1/2" scallop circle punch and finished off with some lace.

National Scrapbooking Day @ CUL

Hello, I wanted to share some craft bits that I made yesterday. We had a great and busy day celebrating 'National Scrapbooking Day' at the shop I was lucky enough to demo some of the new QK dies, Nesties and Shimmerz and combine them with some scrapbooking. Here are a page and mini book made using the new QK Labels die (CC-shape-3-026, the other page will be uploaded later.
