juz recieved some email about some PL event thing
so i thought i'll juz post this up

Hi PL lites,

I hope this email finds you well as you left the walls of PL for more than a year.

Remember that last year at your Thanksgiving & Graduation Service, you were appointed as the Class Ambassador? My apologies that nothing has been done ever since, partly coz I didn't hear anything from the Alumni too.

However, now is the time to 'activate' you.

There will be a PLMGSS Homecoming event on 1 August 2009.
Last year's batch will be having a Thanksgiving & Graduation Service in the morning 9.30am to 11.30am.

After which the Homecoming event will kick start, with Lunch reception at 12noon and other activities.

Please relay this email to your classmates and if you could, to get back to me how many people will be coming.

I’ll be starting a Facebook group, so that more pple can be connected and get to know about this event.

HELLO ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Looking at the picture, I realise I miss wearing our sch uniform and of course, not forgetting all of you! :)

Anw I am here to update you guys on our upcoming class outing/Miss Kang's welcome back celebration whoohoo. We have to confirm this cause we have not met up for the longest time and aren't we the class that has class outing every hol? Oh man what happened to our crazy spirit hahaha.

Miss Kang says she will touch down on 25th Jul so how does 26th Jul (Sat) sound to all of you? Good good? We'll try our best to accomodate everyone's busy schedule. SO if you have no plans in the meantime, pls save that day!

I think Botanic Gardens sounds like a good venue, can we agree on that? We can have our usual games (whacko and all those stuff we always play!) and maybe dunch (lunch and dinner)? Do you guys want to order delivery or have a potluck? Everyone to contribute smth?

Pls leave comments on tagboard and we'll choose the best option and inform all of you again, hopefully through email. Pls inform our other classmates who don't read this blog know about this outing ASAP so we can settle it.

Btw, for Thanksgiving, if you guys can make it, we should all go down! We can see each other, meet and talk again again again! :D

Finally an update on this blog.

We should plan class outing so when Miss Kang is back we can just go ahead with our plans, good idea? Its a sure thing we can't find a perfect date that everyone will turn up or a perfect location so we see how it goes k.

Some suggestions...

Restaurant or food court somewhere?
Another bbq at park or someone's hse?
Pinic at Botanic Gardens?

Pls provide more if you have! Leave them on the tagboard :)

As some of you would know, Miss Kang’s entry clearance has finally been approved on Monday! So she’s leaving tmr morning for London! Her flight would be around 9am but she didn’t tell me any other details, except that the morning flight on SQ was cheaper =D hahahaha.

And as you can see, I have the greatest honour of conveying the message to the rest of you! And this is not goodbye forever because she says that she already booked a return flight on the 24th july =D

SOOOOOOOOO I suggest that we shall allllll go to sakae sushi and eat the sushi buffet together and have a great feast when she returns =D Oh yes, she also wants to express her gratitude to those who did up the board we gave to her during Cambridge dinner =D

Last but definitely not the least, she promises to blog or tag somewhere once she settles down and finds internet access over there at Norfolk =D

Dear 4A2,

I am still in Singapore. In case you're wondering why, I've met obstacle after obstacle in obtaining my entry clearance which will allow me to travel to the UK to work. And yes, the obstacles are still in the way. My initial plan was to fly off on 26 Dec so that I'd have sufficient time to settle down and prepare for 1st day of school (3 Jan). As thing stand, I'll be in Singapore for at least 1 more week and I'll be late for school. Nice huh. I will book my air ticket once the High Commission returns my passport, if ever. So, in the event that you don't hear from me, I'm gone...

Miss you all. All the best for 1st day of school.

Dear Babies,

As you know, I'm really bad with words. What's supposed to be serious usually turns out hilarious. Let me attempt to translate my thoughts into words...

Firstly, a big THANK YOU to all 40 of you for making today the happiest day of my entire teaching career. I really appreciate the effort you've put into the skit. It was funny and wonderful and I love it to bits!! I'm sure that all the staff and students enjoyed every second of it too!! The "pai kias", EMO kids, JJLin fans, bookworms, bimbos, the "prefects", the sunglasses-ppl, the folks who acted in the BSB "MTV" and all you dancers... THANK YOU.

THANK YOU for all your cards, gifts and wishes!! I haven't read all the cards or opened the presents, but your well-wishes are kept safely in a special place - deep down in my heart (familiar?). THANK YOU for the votes for you-know-what!! THANK YOU for cheering and singing while I was walking up and down the aisle!! It was a very heart-warming scene today - THANK YOU.

Teacher's Day isn't just about teachers - it's also about you students. All 40 of you have made Teacher's Day 2007 very special to me and I sincerely THANK YOU for everything that you have done.

Your 4 years in PL have almost come to an end and I am really glad to have been able to travel half of this journey with you. In these 2 years, I have learnt a lot from all of you - lame jokes, idiosyncracies, different ways of life... I have also realised that good relationships cannot be built overnight. It's been a pleasure teaching you - THANK YOU for enduring my constant nagging during Silent Reading and LiVE lessons. Anyone remembers the first day of school last year? You all were silent with eyes wide open while I was doing all the talking. I then wondered if I'd be able to build any rapport between us. Apparently, the silence faded and the noise level shot up soon enough. Hmmm... The first time I went out with you ppl was during the last weekend of June hols 2006, when we went to Marina South. It was funny watching you ppl scream when the prawns jumped out of the steamboat. Remember the Music Marathon? That was the first time we wore the class tee as a class and it meant a lot to me as I could sense the unity among everyone. The class outing in November 2006 was memorable - THANK YOU for the birthday song and the cake - it came as a surprise. Oh, does anybody know how happy I was when the finalised list of form teachers 2007 was released?

Time flies and it's almost time to say goodbye. I just want all of you to know that you are simply the best!! You have been the highlight of my life in PL. THANK YOU for being a part of my life!! Let us walk hand in hand for the remaining couple of months and we will strive to do our best for the Prelims and the big 'O's!! Do know that I am always around for you if you need to talk or play, or if you need help with your studies (eg. RV!! hahaha) THANK YOU for being who you are!!
